There is no justification whatsoever for your man to hit you. A man never hits a woman! That said, You need to apologize to your husband and move on with your life. My mother likes to say that marriage is 70% forgiveness and 30% love. I will like to also advise that you watch your tongue.Choose your words carefully when ever you speak to anyone because words once said can never be taken back and some of them hurts like a hot knife through butter.

Most of the people on this forum that wants you to refrain from apologizing to your hubby will not undergo the immediate pains that you are passing through neither will there be there if your marriage deteriorates.

is this child male or female? If the child is male,are you prepared to handle the trauma of your husband willing everything he owns to the child without you feeling some form of jealousy? You will need supernatural powers to catch a cheating woman. Women are more careful than men and besides women have to visit the market,church,hair salon,schools to pick the kids and many other places. You rarely have to visit a woman at home,but she will visit you at home with all the tell tell signs. Are you going to be following her around ?

Happiness in this world comes from knowing less.

At no point is there any justification. When ever you approach a girl and she tells you she is involved,just move on and respect that relationship.
