Vaughanlanrewaj:
Prior to the EndSars carnage the Intel later revealed was an attempt to violently overthrow the democratically elected government and end our democracy , I would have perhaps taken lightly the usefulness of the information shared here.

I still cringe and just can't wrap my head around how a protest that government had conceded the demands ended up in the hands of IPOB hiding behind it to burn down my Lagos city and release of criminals in most states prisons shocked

It was just by the Grace of God and the patriotic effort of the security forces that stopped the attempt to completely burn down Ikoyi prison by IPOB and free up even hardened criminals to unleash terror on Lagos like it is now doing in the formerly peaceful SE.
Like LASG declared the attack on Lagos as "coordinated arson " , the burning of Ikoyi prison was a violent attempt by IPOB to free inmates of Ikoyi prison .

Little did we know that vicious state actors were sponsoring IPOB terrorists to struggle for power in 2023 at the expense of the lives of innocent and patriotic Nigerians.

While we were thinking it was a legitimate protest, little did we know that the IPOB terrorists leader had been instructing his followers to go infilterate the protesters and burn down Lagos with specific places he mentioned that eventually got burnt as we later found out in a viral audio of the IPOB terrorists leader.

There are indigenous IGBOs in that geographical location called Edo state.

The indigenous Igbos share a boundary with Delta state. These people we're discussing are close to Auchi and very far from Delta/Edo boundary. I know my story.

The red cap is the same as ours but that cloth is a general cloth among majority of central southern Nigeria. Those people are not Igbo.
Just go to google earth with that name and see where they are located. We don't share any border with them and their location in northern Edo is replete with many different languages. I've been listening to their highlife music and I must say that they make good music. Very similar to ours. If they are in anyway related to us I would have indicated it here.

Emo rho is your new yam festival. That you people collapsed it into celebrating Igue shows that it wasn't a big festival to your people compared to how it is among us.

The creation of boko haram and its mission has been achieved. They're moving into the next phase already. The first phase was to destroy churches and Christians in the NE. Thousands of churches and hundreds of Christian settlements in the region have been supplanted with Muslims. Boko haram couldn't penetrate north central so they remembered the traditional enemy of the region(fulani herdsmen) and equipped them to wipe off the people. This is currently ongoing and even scaled into attacking the South. The South however have started fighting back forcing them to stop the boko campaign where under the deceit, thousands of Christian soldiers were deliberately killed.
Currently they've come open and brought their intentions before everyone. The killings that will come from the 'ember' months will be so great such that international media organizations will be forced to show them.
Every southerner must brace up.

Igue festival is celebration of new yam festival... It is a celebration were the oba and his Chiefs makes pounded yam and egusi and offers it to the Gods and the ancestors for a new and fruitful year...

In ancient times it was marked by the emergence of new yam, marking the end of the year and praises are then offered to the ancestors...

Now it is celebrated every December
Igue festival is not New Yam festival. They are two different things. Igue from my findings is a festival for the celebration of a New Year. It is the equivalent of the Igbo Igu-aro festival. The difference is that while the Edo attach a lot of prominence to Igue, only the Umueri clan of Igbos give similar regard to Igu-Aro. The most prominent among all Igbo clans is the New Yam festival called Iri-ji, Iwa-ji or Ikeji. Other notable names for the festival is Ifejioku/ihejioku. This festival is specifically about Yam.
This festival of the Ogbona people is not Igue. It is purely a Yam affair. The pictures are very clear. In all your Igue festival, there's no celebration of Yam.
CultureRe: Indigenous Ogbona People In Edo State Celebrate New Yam Festival "Esi" by Fejoku:
Etsako Central people are not Igbos. Their language and culture is mostly Edoid but one can't rule out small similarities with Igbos because our fathers did travel far and wide those days rendering services all over the SS and SE. Most Estako people are called Afenmai and certain clans their have noted some connections they have with Igbos notably the metalsmiths in one small community their who claim relationship with the famous Awka Blacksmiths. Awka Blacksmiths were known to have travelled to Idah, deep into Edo state and as far as Urhoboland as itinerant artisans. There are historical records by researchers. Masquerade masks from Igboland have been seen among the Estakos which possibly was borrowed from their. This New Yam festival may also be borrowed since most Edoid are not known for having such festivals.
By and large, these people are not Igbos both linguistically and culturally. They are clearly Edoid but certain features among them are also found among the Igbos.
Edo North is a very complex area of different languages. It's very clear that the power of the Benin Kingdom was what held sway and greatly influenced all of them.

Though unconventional, I subscribe to this suggestion. However, I suggest it goes with a total shut down of the southern and middlebelt states. If whole regions don't carry on with business as usual but point and act in unison on a particular cause, the effect will be very well felt. That was Ghandi's mode of operation. Shutdown all our states and move the corpses to the British embassy and High commission including the United Nations Offices. They will be forced to act.

When shameless Nigerian politicians see and hear how some leaders are celebrated as heroes in their countries, I wonder what goes on in their minds. True leaders feel the pains of their people more than how they fear for their own lives. The people in turn will always be willing to pay down their lives for such leaders. This is what is absent in the average Nigerian politician. Only few realize that the support of your people is your power.
Ortom is a bad technocrat and has failed in delivering the dividend of democracy for his people of Benue but one thing no man can take away from him is realizing that there's an enemy hell bent on killing off and enslaving his people. His has been very vocal in calling them out. History will remember both of his attributes but other governors won't be remembered in good light for remaining mute while their states are invaded and their people slaughtered in cold blood. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi, Ugwuanyi of Enugu, Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta, Seyi Makindr of Oyo and the rest of them. History will record you all on the side of shame for keeping quiet as your people are killed in their ancestral lands.

The reason why IPOB is threatening to shutdown igboland, if kanu is not released, is that they know he is guilty.

They want to use intimidation to get the governors and igbo leaders to negotiate for his release again .

They know the evidence against kanu is huge, and he has no way out.

I thought they should be clamouring to speed up the hearing of the case against kanu.

The same people that were clapping and hailing UGM are now saying they are going after UGM. They want to pretend IPOB has no hand in UGM.

So after inciting igbo youths to crime, they now want to deny them to defend kanu?

Well, its too late, the UGM who have been arrested are ready and willing to testify against Nnamdi Kanu in court.

If they like, let them burn the SE, kanu must face the law.

They know there is no light at the end of this tunnel, this is the reason why they are fighting over bank account. They don't want people to continue donating to the account controlled by kanu, because they dont believe he is coming out soon.

So they need a new account they can access. While this is going on, they are sending the gullible igbos on ground to go and shutdown their business, burn down igboland. All this to keep them distracted from the financial war going on in IPOB.

Soon, Igbo's will see this agitation for the business it truly is.

Copy Your Forefathers, Azikwe, Awolowo Who Never Tried To Break Up Nigeria --- Ganduje Tells Biafra, Yoruba Nations Agitators

Kano Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
He then urged different separatist groups, mainly Biafra and Yoruba Nation agitators, to suspend their secessionist activities in the interest of a united Nigeria.

The Kano state g1overnor urged the aggrieved groups to call for restructuring instead of sponsoring and promoting separatist agenda.

Ganduje said this during the Second Quarterly Public Lecture Series of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Press Corps, held at Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja on Thursday.

“Let me repeat here that Nigeria is a united and indivisible country. Our constitution has taken care of that. I don’t see secession as the way out of the current challenges afflicting the nation. Instead, advocates of secession should have a change of heart and I recommend dialogue as a crucial option for addressing their problems.

“The Biafran agitators and a small section of the Yoruba nation agitating for Oduduwa Republic should therefore always have this at the back of their minds in their political calculations and transformations.

“It is on record that the great Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, the first president of Nigeria, was an Igbo man and also a perfect negotiator and foremost champion of Nigeria’s unity. The same for the great Chief Obafemi Awolowo. He never agitated for secession.

“He was loud and clear on the restructuring of the federation. And that demand is even louder and the debate is on and no one is troubling agitators for agitating for restructuring of the federation. What is more, the governing party, the APC has a working document already on this (restructuring). This is the way we should all go. There should be no secession distraction at this time,” Ganduje said.

He also stated that other ethnic minorities can only have their interests protected under one Nigeria.

“Secondly, they argue that in addition to the big three ethnic groups, we have over 300 others scattered across the country. Have Nigerians not faced similar or even worse treatment of neglect from government agencies over the years to believe the possibility of the current allegation? The onus lies of Olympic committee to prove that AFA had fulfilled her obligation to them and show that the claims of the athlete is false on the one hand while on the other, they should absolve Puma of any allegations of not abiding by the contract that was still effective until this current scandal.
