Connect it to a laptop via a micro USB micro and charge it. You may have been using the wrong charger |
Best way to receive your cheque in Nigeria is by DHL. It takes about 5 days |
Too little, too late. When companies like Mocality Nigeria and Vconnect have already dominated their niche. Well, maybe they can just brag about being an official list of registered companies. I hope they do a good job with their web design. |
I think most Nigerians bear foreign names as people bear such names either as Muslims and Christians. Most muslims in north bear arabic names with the popular one being Mohammed. In the SOuth and Middle belt, most Christians also bear foreign Christian names like Jonathan, Peter, Chris and so on. So, I think most Nigerians are guilty of that. But I think the difference is that in the south, most Christians still retain their indigenous names than Muslims up north. |
Simple solution: Buy more laptop batteries or get a solar laptop |
Well if it was locked, I believe it can also be unlocked in Nigeria |
To give you a straight answer. You can shop online at amazon.com from Nigeria and get it shipped to Nigeria. The only thing is that you would first get it shipped to a US address from where you will then re-ship to Nigeria. To do this you are going to need two things: - A US shipping address - A Nigerian issued visa or mastercard So just first of all get a US shipping address and then shop on amazon with your Nigerian card. Your goods will be shipped there from where you can then send it to Nigeria using DHL. Personal experience: I have shipped both a laptop and a Kindle fire hd this year using this method. A US shipping address solves the problem. Get one here: multidox.net/go/myus |
Then stop wasting time with her and look for another wife. |

Yes, it's official, Seun has started accepting direct adverts. I guess he wants to diversify from Google. Good thinking! For more info, you could go to https://www.nairaland.com/1049481/placing-adverts-nairaland |
You'r right. Google pays at least $1000 for every 1 million page views although it could be more depending on the niche. There are some who earn as much as $6000 per 1m page views |
I see no reason why it should be tax free. You earn income from it by trading, right? So when you bring in the income into Nigeria, you should be better off paying your tax. It could be categorized as foreign income. |
Guess Google is banning a couple of big Nigerian publishers recently and for Nairaland, it may somehow be linked to your site restructuring. I believe Seun can do with or without Google. But all hope is not lost, remember Digitalpoint forum was once banned by Adsense and later reactivated. Google needs Nairaland the same way Nairaland needs Google. Perhaps this is an eye opener actually. Seun, I think it's time to diversify Nairalan's revenue source and not give monopoly to Google. |
Nice to know that Nigeria is also accepted but the target buyers would probably not be Nigerians since they only sell with Paypal |
Hmmn. Is there anyone who is already using this equipment. I think only those who are already using it should be ina a good position to review it else it is just ideas we are sharing. With the way I see this kind of generator, it consists of converting energy from one form to another such as electrical to mechanical and then electrical again. When energy is converted, a bit of it is normally lost as heat so some input of energy may have to be replaced or refilled once in a while. I just think it may use less fuel or electrical energy but it would have to be requiring a sort of fuel to keep working long term. |
There is a post here on how to start doing so: http://www.makemoneynigeria.net/cgi-bin/page.pl?b=reselling&bn=1&m=3 |

Easiest thing you can do without losing the money is to buy shares from the Nigerian Stock exchange by November and sell it by March 2012. It could double by then to N600,000. You could buy shares of a bank like Access bank of Fidelity bank |
I'm surprised you refer to Nairalist as Frozen. @Seun what really happened? |
Still don't get how this works. It says 25% commission so give us an example |
That's a nice sum to invest in blogging and I think if channeled properly, you will be able to make up to 100% ROI within a year. However, for a new blog, certain things are more important. For instance: - Content. You need to pay writers to make a lot of posts for you and at about N200 per post, you can get 2500 posts on your blog. Once you have a lot of content, you can then wait to see how it converts for your business over a period. After Content, then other things you can do to keep running your blog is to : - Get subscribers - Use online advertising |
I guess it's simply because blogging is still relatively new in Africa. Only very few people really do blogging full time her unlike in the USA where people blog for a living. Would you be willing to do blogging for a living? Then I bet you would really be successful at it. |

Ice block machines in Nigeria are mostly second hand and not reliable. Even when reliable, there are not many technicians available that know how to maintain your machine. It is much better using normal standing freezers to produce iced blocks as it's more economical and can be easily maintained. I know someone that produces ice blocks and today, his ice block machine is spoilt and even broke down his generator. his ordinary freezers are still working and to think that he spent over N500,000 just to buy the machine that didn't last up to 2 years. Better make use of freezers and brand new is better. |
My 2 cents. I know there are lot of ways to make money from the web. One of such is by doing affiliate marketing. This just involves promoting the sales of other people's stuff. The more sales you convert, the more money you are likely to make and you can get paid in Nigeria by means of an intaernational cheque or debit card |
