Why are some people so tribalistic? Any small thing they blame the Igbos but they don't blame themselves where they have multiple reports of human beings being beheaded for rituals. Which is a worse crime? Advance fee fraud or ritual killing? Criminals exist everywhere and we should stop playing the ethnic card when we hear that crimes have been committed. |

This is what Oyibo people call Penny wise, Pound foolish How can you save a staggering amount of N4.5 m from your hustling and still let your husband have access to the money . Your suffering will continue until you learn to be stingy. |

Show us the Original YouTube video published in 2022 else it cannot be called an accurate prediction. Just checked this video now and it was just published recently in Sept 2023. Nothing tangible to show that is was an old video. |

We don't have the whole story yet. What if the soldier was acting in the line of duty? There was an official reason for this as the governor had imposed a curfew and she was enforcing it. You may be surprised she may go free afterwards. She was given an instruction and she tried to obey it but who knows if the victim was warned before moving forward and he resisted before being shot? The simple instruction was that no movement should be as there was a curfew but as Nigerians, we like to disobey rules. She may have shot the man in self defence or perceived him as a threat. I feel sorry for the loss of live but one should know that it's not safe to approach anyone holding a gun. The soldier should not be entirely blamed for the event Sha. |

Believe Facebook news at your own loss. Which police investigation or autopsy was done to prove that he indeed died of suicide from sniper poisoning? A lot of all these social media reports at times assume suicide when they have no valid evidence to prove it. How do we know its not a Cass of murder covered as suicide? |

Another lie from Tinubu camp. They won't go to any court because they don't want more people to know about this. They can't even win anything in court because it it true what the TV said. |

U people are funny. May he rest in peace. Some are saying that case has closed. This is not a civil case as she committed a crime by distributing sex video as well as trying to blackmail a citizen. She has committed an offence against the govt and not just the late politician. Secondly, some are blaming the man to be association with a 19 year old. He didn't rape her. It was all mutual consent and they were both adults The man didn't commit a crime. Besides many Nigerian girls of nowadays mostly go after older men and older men do so vice versa. It's the way our society has become. If it was from a religious point of view, they both sinned against God by having sex without marriage. In the eyes of the law however, the man was a law abiding citizen and the girl was a criminal. End of story. So let those who are childish stop being childish and those blaming the man stop doing so. They were both morally wrong but the girl seemed to be ignorant of the law. You can't go around distributing to the public a video of a sexual act that was privately done between 2 people. 2 Likes |

My advice is that you should not send the girl away. Just accept her and the baby and let her remain as a maid, take care of any expenses and help them. You will always be rewarded in the future for any child you take care of. 1 Like |

You people are very funny. You see a poster of Chimaroke Nnamani of PDP with Tinubu of APC and you immediately assume it was the former that printed it. Is he a printer? Does that not amount to betrayal of party? Don't assume what you dont have the facts for. A local printer may have printed the poster. Chimaroke has not publicly declared support for Bola Tinubu which would seem insane since he is from a different political family and doing so would be childish and amount to disloyalty. Don't assume what you don't know for a fact. 2 Likes |

There is a fourth option. We want to be President and nothing else. We are voting for Peter Obi, full stop.. Even if Peter doesn't win, at least let them count our votes. We are tired of APC and PDP. |

For me, i think they are both too big to be anyone's Vice. Kwankwaso is too big to be vice same as Peter Obi. Best is for both of them to run on their own platform separately and test their political strength so that afgrr 2023, they can then decide better in future who is bigger than the other. If for instance Peter Obi bets 1million votes under LP while Kwankwaso gets 100,000, then the latter will know Obi is bigger than him and same for vice versa. As it is, they have both not tested their political strengths yet. |

When I first read the headline, I said this man must have been bribed by Northerners but after reading the details, I realized that he was actually speaking the truth. Igbos should be given the presidency first but it is better that it remains in the North if southerners cannot support the fact that is is the turn of the South east. It's unjust for a Yoruba person to be wanting to be president when Igbos have not had their turn and yet they are both in the south. The last time a Yoruba person was president before Buhari, Igbos voted for him because he was q southerner so it makes common sense for Yorubas and Niger Delta a to support the South East this time else power should remain in the North. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Only a good wife keep staying and managing with her husband even if he didnt have money. Your wife must have known your income before getting married to you. You married her to help you and not to be her slave. If she chooses to leave you then its not your fault but hers. A good marriage should not be based on money or only when the going is good. Its in hard times a husband Will know who a good wife is. I suggest you don't stop feeding your mother and for hour wife, try to get her engaged in a business or trade she can do to help supplement your income. If u continut at this rate and be the sole bringer of income, you may habe a short life span. Engage your wife to help you generate income if she feels what you have is not enough. |

Ohanaeze Ndigbo has a solid point as they are speaking in favour of natural justice and rotational presidency, most especially as it affects Nigeria as a nation. There are many tribes and geopolitical regions in Nigeria. We have been operating rotational presidency since 1999. Bihari is about ending the 8 year rule of the nation on behalf of the Northern region and now it's the turn of Southern Nigeria. In the south however, 2 regions have ruled which as the South West and South South so equity demands it's the turn of the SouthEast region of which the Igbo people are dominant there. For Tinubu or anyone else outside the South East to declare or run for presidency at a time like this is against the rotational presidency agreement. It is against natural justice and it would then mean that after him, any other region can go for the presidency without regard to who sat on that seat last So if the fulanis or hausas run for presidency after Tinubu and decide to keep it in their region for the next 30 years after Tinubu, they would only be following in his footstep for not letting the Igbos have their turn. It would mean that after Tinubu becoming president, there is no longer any regard or respect for rotational presidency. Is that what we want for our great nation Nigeria? 1 Like |

Edwin Clark is saying the truth. When the West had their Cocoa, they were allowed to develop their region with 50% derivation but now that Niger Delta is just getting 13% derivation from their oil, other regions are getting too jealous of them and want to remove that 13% from them. True justice requires that you do onto others what they do to you. Edwin Clark is saying the truth but greedy Nigerians don't want to hear that. How can Nigeria be a better country when people who contribute the most resources get cheated.? 5 Likes |

What Data? How was the data collected? Did they get information from generator users? Did they use a Satellite image or what? How were they able to know how many Nigerians were using generators all the while? I refuse to believe this. milann: |

Stop blaming MTN for data used by your phone. You pay for what you use. Data is not cheap and as far as I know, MTN offers the best Data service. Some other networks just collect money without even giving one reliable data service. |

Gumi is making sense sha. Religious leaders can help talk to IPOB and Oduduwa secessionists to drop their goal for the sake of Nigeria's unity. I don't always agree to everything Gumi has said in the past but this recent statement makes good sense. No need to insult him. |

Lol. That is what Oyibo people call poverty mentality. When u are in the rat race, you'd worry a lot about bank charges but when you are making cool money, you only worry about how to manage it. |

Sorry but I think there may be a couple of possible reasons why the man got married to her and these could be any of the following; 1. He already proposed marriage to you and you turned him down. Not all men want to propose marriage a second time. 2. He saw the new girl as someone who can stay faithful in a marital relationship unlike you. 3. You are too expensive for his lifestyle. Not all guys would complain openly about how much money their girlfriend cost them as some would just be monitoring you until they find another person who is cheaper to be with. 4. You have an irritating habit which he doesnt like but just tolerates until the right time to break up with you. 1 Like |

I support this new move by the CBN as long as the banks dont abuse it or make it hard to issue fx to legitimate users. The main question however is on what the requirements are to be considered a legitimate fx user before banks can give out forex. |

shadeyinka: Actually I think this will make the dollar fall a bit lower to the Naira. The current black market price is not so realistic. Good move by the CBN. It was a tough call though. |

emmyid: Not exactly. The sin is only stuck on you if you do not confess and repent. As long as you recognize your fault and ask God for forgiveness, he will forgive you. |

Samleen: You are getting it wrong. It seems you don't know much about Economics. The printing of higher currency denominations did not cause devaluation of the Naira but it's a response by the CBN after the Naira lost value and it helped them to save money on printing the Naira. It would have been more costly to print N100 notes than the N1000 notes. If the govt stopped printing higher denominations, it won't improve the value of the Naira to make 1NGN equal 1 USD. Also, re-introducing lower currency notes and coins won't make sense since the government would spend more money doing so on notes that are would rarely be used in a nation with a weak currency. A fast way to make N1 equal 1 USD is to re-denominate it and that simply means by changing the value of say N1000 to equal N10 or something like that. New notes may have to be printed and they would have more value than the old notes. Soludo suggested something like that but many low IQ Nigerians didn't understand it. After the re-denomination has been done, then it would make sense to reintroduce lower currencies just because they would have more use then and have more value. |
