Honestly I thought u were a computer geek but when I read the last paragraph of your post where u bashed AMD processors talking about overheating, i knew u weren't one..for u see, the only AMD processors that had that such problem were older series...as a matter of fact, a more recent line of CPU's, for instance the AMD APU series ( Accelerated processing Unit) run as smooth as silk. On my rig, I use an AMD A10-6800k Richland clocked at 4.1Ghz with turbo 4.4Ghz. Besides its speed, Its graphics capabilities is top notch that a core i-5 wouldn't dream of. So Next time try n' get ur facts right son.

easy peasy don't be so quick to condemned the truth is I have not tried any of the new series AMD processor but the one I tried In time past is enough for me not to go near their product again
I am telling to God the AMD laptop I used back then can boil water
it was a brand new Acer laptop and the thing can get hot like mad within minutes of using it it was a breath of relief when I sold it and got an Intel
but since then I have stay clear of anything called AMD people say it's now fine and moderate but wild horse have not drag me back into verifying that claim

with programming what u are doing is writing piece of code on one dark theme template be it vim, notepad ++ netbeans, eclipse etc all system can do it no matter the processor inside

most of the stores that sells brand new laptop are in dugbe check them very well even ShopRite

only thing u need to do anytime u overclock ur laptop is to buy cooling pad failure to do so the system is goona fry within weeks buy a cooling fan ur laptop sit on it and u are good to go

@OP pls buy brand new if u can afford I bought my laptop brand new over 4 yrs ago if u see it now and I said I bought it two month ago u will not doubt it

of course I use both mmc and cloud Google drive and OneDrive and I have tons of things on them ranging from my certificates to photos to apps to document thousands of PDF files etc and they are completely different thing mmc if for things u will be needing almost every now and then cloud is majorly for backup simple anytime I am using someone laptop or phone and I need to get a doc I simply log on to my Google drive and bring it out this always make me happy but I don't think it's in the right other of mind every time I want to show my friend something on my phone I should be assessing the internet just to get them
well u are one of those people that was fool into thinking u don't need a memory card and the same set of people that told u that will now tell u to buy external cloud storage again ... I think they first told u that u don't need external memory while cloud storage is good the motive behind it is purely profit and nothing more just so u don't know the cloud u are making noise about is also a physical hard drive that can be attack by a virus just like ur PC drive
same people that told u that u don't need a radio on your phone to listen to music which is free later tell u to stream the music which of course have a cost attached to it

Modeling a Cup x super boring...low but its necessary. U will learn d basics and interface with it. Next for you should be a coiled rope. Try to do it this way and you would leap.

That's how I work, u learn a simple task and jump headlong into a not so simple task. Blenderguru has a nice tutorial on how to make a coiled Rope. try it.

thanks sir I will head to blendguru thou I realize now that the tutorial at CG cookie are good but they won't allow one download introduction to mesh it's free if u are streaming it but to download they want a fee for it and we all know that learning it require u pausing the video all the time and sometimes even rewinding to get the scope

I can't believe it boss I have laid my hand on blender boss it's like I am flying a rocket to space when I don't even know how to drive a car I have tons of books on it but it seems they are to fast for !y understanding I follow a video on how to make a cup I did make the cup eventually but the cup eventually has some comma where I got it wrong I don't know navigating like rotating seems hard I don't get the right process for it, my laptop mouse use synaptic which can imitate two finger slide as MMB but I need a tutorial on how to understand each process one by one so I won't just be copying hw to make things
for example while making the cup I was pressing some number according to the tutor and mesh was changing shape but why that particular number was used and what number gives particular shape was not explained so I can't tell if .07 is the fix number or I can use my choice

So i have computed all my data in different spreed sheets and their is an urgent need to transfer/copy and paste all data to a single spreed sheet for easy processing, but i observed a constant distortion of my data especially numbers. The zeros infront of say phone numbers also disappears.. Plz house, what could be the solution to this problem? And for the data distortion upon copy and paste,how to i go about this? u need to format the whole excel u are copying if some are formatted and some are not then there will be data distortion and for zeros disappearing u need to start with apostrophe before imputing the zero

the laptop will do anything you want except ofcourse games
it is not good for gaming
browsing , microsoft office, and other apps will run fine but games? no no no if game is priority then no otherwise u are good to go they manahe power efficiently

what processor is your laptop make ? I check the requirement of blender and it says any processor that support open GL 2.1 if your Toshiba is bouncing the software it means your system graphics card does not support open GL 2.1 all you need to do is to update graphics driver

you will get a new celeron for 110 - 120k range while the used one is around 40k depending on how clean it is

however u should note that celeron are not good for gaming if gaming is what you crave for(with exception to 3d games like chicken invader asphalt 8 and games like that even gta liberty city thou its an old game run well on it) but as for other app that u can mention i have run it all and i am still runing them from photoshop to gimp to corel draw to netbeans to dreamweaver to microsoft office and the battery last like die maybe its because i bought it brand new thou

Intel Celeron is at the bottom in terms of performance. It has a low cache, overheats fast and processes multi-tasks at a slow rate. I know. Intel Celeron are budget processor but the way u bad mouth the thing people will think it's a very bad processor as a matter of fact many of this laptop buyers don't need the power u are recommending for them I have a Celeron n2830 bought it brand new 500gighdd 4 gig ram and there is no software I have not run on it only thing is it can't play majority of this top games but the good news is I don't play games the battery last six hours on a single charge and I mean that I run GIMP, dream Weaver , core draw, netbeans, wampserver ...etc and all other things I need a computer for I browse the net stream video and it comes with window 8,1 if I want to start playing game I will buy a ps3 or ps4 if I can afford that majority of those that make noise of the core i series suffer short battery life and heat and worst thing is they are not doing anything useful with that power just watching film and playing game

Celeron are super cool my laptop can go 3hrs before the fan kick in and they are low power meaning their battery last long
and they don't heat up as suggested by this poster , dual core processor is more powerful than Celeron but it comes with shorter battery life and more heat , it is the truth I am telling u
if u are not playing those heavy game and u need a laptop to do what computer does then Celeron is also a good match
I use it everyday so I know what I am saying

as for AMD , if u experience how a cool a Celeron can be when working so far u don't overload the system then u will never be tempted to by any AMD product no matter the story they tell you , the thing is super hot cos while I can watch a 2 hr film with my laptop on my lap I can not try that with AMD my lap will be fried before we reach the end
