A friend of mine came to seek advise from me yesterday and I only gave him the little I knew I could give.
There's the girl he has been dating for over a year now and things had really gotten serious between the both of them. So, taking the next step which is about going to see her people has been on his mind for some time now.
Now, here's the problem. This particular lady in question is presently working in a hotel and she has been holding a very big position in the hotel. Just like how we are made to believe, concerning ladies working in hotels. Of course, we've heard of various cases of how ladies working in hotels turn out to be promiscuous and render their bodies for men who comes to lodge in those hotels which they're working in. This friend of mine is worried,and has asked his lady times without a number if she would quit the hotel work after getting married to pursue another career. He has even promised to open a super market for her but she didn't obliged to his request.
As a matter of fact,my friend is currently considering walking out of the relationship but I told him to speak with her one more time. And if she should insist on quitting the hotel work,then,he could do whatever he has on his mind.
So,my dear fellow Nairalanders, especially the guys ,how do you guys view this kind of situation?

I bought a 2008 Toyota Prius late last year. Because of insurance, tax, and other things, I left it parked for a few weeks. After about 3 weeks I began to use it, but every time I switched off the engine, I had to jump-start it to get it going again even after a 1-hour drive. At first I thought it was the cold weather.
I took it to the mechanic and it turned out the 12V battery was small and old. I got a new battery, and everything went back to normal. But now the car feels faster than before.
When I was driving at 70 km/h before, it felt like I was crawling. Now it's faster than before.
Recently, I used Google Maps to go somewhere I didn’t know. My speedometer showed 40 km/h in a 50 km/h zone, but Google Maps showed 60+ km/h with the red warning that I’d exceeded the limit.
With daily monitoring, I noticed when my speedometer shows 60 km/h, Maps shows 90+ km/h, and when it shows 70 km/h, Maps also shows 100+ km/h.
Is there a way to fix this without spending much as I don’t want to be a victim of speed cameras.

Kingzjayzee: Nigerian singer Chike has revealed why he prefers dating older women other than younger women.
During an interview section in a viral podcast, where he was featured as a guest, he detailed several reasons why he prefers older women than younger women.
He expressed interest in dating older women because they have something to offer. Discarding younger women, he detailed that most often, younger women have nothing to offer but to enjoy the moment as in terms of a 23 year old lady who would only care to tell people that she is dating a superstar.
He disclosed that most 23 year old younger women purposes are tied to what would not yield peace of mind to him. In the stage of life he has embraced, he is required to align with women who understand life and align with peace.
He further detailed his obsession with peace of mind as younger women wouldn’t give him that. He clarified that it’s only older women who are through life that can give him peace of mind.
Expressing further, he revealed that he has never dated any younger woman as his ideal preferences have always been women older than him. Perhaps he also revealed that if he had dated a younger woman, it would be a career woman.

This is what some people are waking up to these days and it honestly leaves you confused (see pics for more clarification).
Someone ask you for help. Not something you owe them. They came on their own, asking.
Then somehow, in the same breath, they carry entitlement, pride, and even rudeness like they are the ones doing you a favor.
How do you beg and still be aggressive? How do you ask for help and still be ready to threaten, “I will block you”?
At that point, it stops being about the money or the request. It becomes about mindset.
Because normally, when someone genuinely needs help, there is humility. There is respect. There is understanding that the other person is not obligated.
But when you see entitlement mixed with begging, it tells you something else is going on.
It is no longer “I need help.” It becomes “I expect you to help me.”
And once expectation enters, gratitude disappears.
That is why you now see people making demands instead of requests. Getting upset when you say no. Acting like your refusal is an offense.
But the truth is simple.
Help is given, not owed. Support is voluntary, not compulsory.
The moment someone starts acting like they are entitled to your pocket, they have already disqualified themselves.
Because if respect is not present when asking, it will not appear after receiving.
So the real question is not whether she was rude.
The real question is why someone who needs help feels bold enough to threaten the person they are asking.
That alone tells you everything you need to know.

GodCovenant: God opened my eyes this morning, and I saw huge cobwebs all over my house.
I had a dream where my long-time enemy came to my house, and he said if I were aware that he was attacking me. I said, "Of course," or he thinks I don't know all this while.
Somehow I woke up and started praying. I then light my prayer candle. I have a lot of Christian songs, but in that moment I was looking for a mixed foreign Christian song that is soothing like blues.
I find one. Which lasted for 2 hours 30 minutes. After praying I use it to sleep as it was playing from my phone while my prayer candle was on.
I woke up this morning as I closed my eyes just lying down; I saw huge cobwebs all over my apartment with big, big spiders. The type you can't move around without them touching you.
But they are not visible to ordinary eyes.
I am just thinking how to remove them since they are not a physical thing.
