Fashion › Re: 12 Types Of Shoes Every Nigerian Woman Should Own by femi4: 6:58am On May 06
escortafrik:
Let’s make this practical because in Nigeria, your shoe choices are not just about style.
They have to survive heat, rain, movement, long events… and still look good.

So this one isn’t just a “fashion list.”
It’s a lifestyle-approved rotation.

Fashion › Re: 12 Types Of Shoes Every Nigerian Man Should Own by femi4: 6:57am On May 06
escortafrik:
Yesterday we talked about the shoes every
Nigerian woman should own… today, let’s talk about the men!

Men’s fashion in Nigeria is evolving, but when it comes to shoes, many guys are either doing too much… or not enough.

The goal isn’t to own plenty shoes.
It’s to own the right ones that actually fit your lifestyle.

Everyday Essentials (What you’ll wear the most)

1. White Sneakers
Clean, versatile, and always correct.
If you don’t have this, start here.

2. Slides
For quick outings, errands, and relaxed days.

3. Leather Sandals
Perfect for the weather. Simple, breathable, and stylish when done right.

4. Running Sneakers
For comfort, movement, and busy days.

Smart & Put-Together
5. Loafers
Effortless and sharp. Works for office, church, and casual events.

6. Derby / Oxford Shoes
Every man needs at least one proper formal shoe.

7. Driving Shoes / Moccasins
Relaxed but still polished. Great for smart casual looks.

8. Chelsea Boots
Not everyday in Nigeria, but perfect for travel, harmattan, or styled evenings.

Style & Statement
9. Monk Strap Shoes
For when you want to stand out without being loud.
10. Suede Loafers
Adds texture and a more elevated finish to your outfit.
11. Statement Sneakers
For casual fits that need personality.

Must Have’s !
12. Rain-Friendly / Waterproof Shoes
Rainy season will test your wardrobe, better to be prepared than uncomfortable.

Romance › Re: Why Are Relationship Standards Rigged Against Men? by femi4: 10:22pm On May 05
lovediehatelive:
It's crazy how women keep raising the bar higher and higher for men, the type of men they want while men keep lowering the bar for women.

Something as basic as virginity which should be the least a man should expect from a woman is now seen as asking for too much?

In the past you don't dare say you have a boyfriend but these days a lady with numerous body count would be so bold to display it and expecting a rich handsome disciplined man who earns nothing less than $50M a month.

But would be guilt tripping you for only wanting a girl that hasn't slept with anyone before.

They even go as far as demanding much from a man for a single mother of 3!!!

Wonders!!!

Men need to do better, some keep lowering the bar but right from ages women keep raising the bar!

Back in the days you only need to have a farm to be considered as the ideal man, but as bicycle came it become the new norm.

And today if you have a bicycle no girl will want to look at you, they'll keep broke shaming you, preferring a guy with a car as the ideal man.

They keep raising the bar higher and higher for men to work harder, but they want men to accept less.

Most men aren't even asking for too much, just a decent virgin girl, no house, no car, no fat bank account.

Over the centuries men hardly raised the bar, but women want a man they set very high standard for to marry a lady that the whole neighborhood has pipped, a lady with zero sexual purity, a single mother of 3 or so.
But
Let them keep raising the bar until they are too old to find a bar

Romance › Re: Introduction Is Not Marriage: It Is Just A Declaration Of Intention by femi4: 10:16pm On May 05
VYourstories:
My dad once made a statement that instantly changed my mindset towards relationships.

In his words: “Princess, introduction is not marriage. So stop acting so cozy with a guy who has done the bare minimum.”

Shockingly, his words hooked my heart the way a fish gets caught in a net , suddenly, completely, with no escape.

From that moment, this one statement made me develop a visceral hatred for a particular phrase: “Our wife.”

Any attempt for someone to call me “our wife,” I will instantly rebuke the person and respond, “I am not his wife yet.”

I usually receive that instant look of surprise, as though I have said something extreme.

But to me, it was my way of helping myself stay aware of reality without beautifying it.

In my opinion, the introduction ceremony in Nigerian culture is when the lady introduces the man she is interested in marrying to the family.
Introduction is Marriage

Everything they do in a traditional marriage are also done in traditional

Payment of dowry can take place at any time

Once both families agree and bless the union, a marriage is established, other activities are side attraction

How are you people coping? I fell ill last week and I know it had to do with losing bodily fluids faster than I could replenish. Since I work for a private company, I obtained permission to dress leisurely. This wouldn’t have been a problem if NEPA was constant. At least air conditioning would be on frequently.

Unfortunately, we’ve no option but to cook in European suits while seated daily. Natives are not much of a relief. One still sweats profusely in them.

Romance › Re: Confused About This Girl I’ve Been Seeing by femi4: 5:18pm On May 05
heartbraker:
I met a girl through a friend and we’ve been seeing each other for a short while now. She has come to my place a few times, and when we’re together there is clear physical attraction and comfort (kissing, cuddling, SUCK BREAST etc.).

However, things haven’t progressed to sex yet. It feels like there is interest, but at the same time she hasn’t fully taken it further, and I don’t want to push or make her uncomfortable

My question is:
In a situation like this, how do you usually handle progression naturally without forcing it or overthinking? And how do you know if it’s just slow pace vs lack of full interest?

I’m trying to be respectful but also not misread the situation.

You have to prepare her mind with the right words. Bombard her with messages n voice notes either early in the morning or late at night

To sleep with her, start from her mind. Start working with her mind romantically, eventually in weeks, you will have a soft landing
