Health › Re: Why Do I Eat So Much And Still Don't Add Weight by femi4: 7:05pm On Aug 27
Evaress:
I swear i can measure 7 cups of rice and finish it in just one day and i can't still add one pound of flesh. Someone who sees me will think i'm not eating well but thats the reverse case.

This is how i eat; Because i work remotely so i'm always indoors. When i finish cooking like 11am in the Morning, i dish out the food in my plate, a huge portion. After eating that, i rest for like 30min then i go back to the Pot to dish out another portion again. After eating the second time, i rest again for like 2 hours then i go back to dish out a third portion again. Before its 6pm,the food has almost finished and i still crave for more.

Why do i eat like this? Could it be caused by boredom and idleness? Its making me spend a lot on food. 7 cups no fit last me for 2 days again. .

Funny thing is when a guy takes me out, i go just dey form. Order very small light meal. The guy will be like "will that be enough for you? Its too small na". grin

Health › Re: How I Almost Died Today. After Eating Don't Go And Lie Down by femi4: 7:02pm On Aug 27
Host78:
Sometimes you hear of people who slept and never woke up and today, i almost experienced the same thing and honestly, if i had not woken up the time i did, i am pretty sure it would have been a sad story.

so this morning i was very hungry. I didn't eat much yesterday night or during the day, so the hunger was very intense. you know those morning hunger that comes with torture na.

i then decided to cook something. my initial intention was to buy noodles (hungry man) and cook but when i got to the store, i saw macaroni and i just thought to myself, it has been long i ate macaroni o. so i bought it and came home to prepare it instead.

i cooked this with beans and everything. Honestly i made it better than i expected considering the lack of fish. and the money was like my last card.

but it was delicious anyways. so i ate a good portion from the food. i was filled but had to fetch a second servings for myself because i really enjoyed it.

that was the mistake i made. that second serving. my stomach began to pain me not so much to call it stomach ache. but just enough for me to be in distress.

so i said let me lie down. i placed my phone on a phone stand and lay belle flat on the floor with my face down on the pillow. Combined with the overfed belle, omo naso sleep carry me o.
here
only for me to wake up suddenly like 10 minutes later struggling to breathe.

I was shocked and confused at the same time and scared. very scared because my chest was burning, it's like the acid in my stomach all moved to my chest and lungs.

you know that pain that comes with something getting into your airway when you eating? that's exactly the kind of pains i was in. i could literally fill the food moving from my stomach back to my throat and almost in my mouth.

Till this evening i can still fill the taste in my mouth, my chest is still burning and i am still scared of going to eat the food even though i am currently very hungry.

sometimes, i just wonder, what if i hadn't woken up by the time i did? because the moment i woke up, i stood up and had to maintain that standing position for a while even though i was feeling dizzy and irritated. this helped to push the food down.

it took me a while to understand that i was regurgitating probably because i slept on a filled stomach. much like squeezing an air filled balloon, but in this case, the content of my stomach was been pushed out by the force of my weight on it against the ground.

honestly, the experience could have gone really bad because the food could have rushed into my lungs and caused severe respiratory distress with people coming it to find food acid rushing out of my mouth and nostrils
After eating, sit or walk around for around 30 mins

Good morning everyone, I trust you’all are keeping well.

I feel something under my foot each time am walking on a hard surface , especially when am walking barefoot 🦶.

It feels like a hard skin. Sometimes I have to use razor blade to scrape out some of the skin.

Please does anyone know what may be the cause ? Thank you🙏

It's not about UK girls, people are used to 'rape and beg' in this part of the world... especially when young pre-teens and teenagers are involved, because those ones are naive enough to get manipulated into situations/circumstances and environments where they can't but succumb

In this place men ply ladies with alcohol just to mess up their faculties to the extent they can have sex with them...it's a thing in Nigeria. Try that in the UK and you will go to jail
Exactly, they think that can get away with anything over there like they always do in naija. He will unlearn, learn n re learn before he comes back

When Nigerians are confronted with economic realites they do not want to accept, they resort to abuse, rhetoric, or start boasting, and sounding like data boys.

Agreed. But I'll get them at far lower prices than someone who hasn't got a tree of mangoes.

Besides I have total control over my own share of the 'mangoes'. Why should I hoard our share of the 'mangoes' and ask my children to go and buy in the market like everybody else if they want mangoes?
You are not in charge. It is not in your control. You cant dictate the price
