Stephen0mozzy: Good day guys, here's a thread to inspire, teach and also, maybe, motivate someone or some people.
How did you become a master at what you do? How did you become very "popular" that people are even begging you to work for them? How did you boost your business to a profitable enterprise?
Please share tips, life lessons, stumbling blocks and strategies you applied that got you to where you are today.
You don't have to name names or state figures. But if you know you have a story to share that can inspire someone to keep building, keep learning and not give up... Let's hear your story.

You know you could be better right? Just do your best to read and study complex subject matters, and work hard on building and improving your attention span. You'll be fine; I really hope you are.

Autopoly: I am not here to argue the Bible with you here . Far from it . I am only emphasising on what Jesus said EXCEPT FOR SEXUAL IMMORALITY.if you read king james which happens to be the unadulterated version instead of sexual immorality it is FURNICATION.
You can take your time to check and confirm. Now ask yourself , can a married man or woman commit FURNICATION?
If you go on and study the Greek version which happens to be the primary language. It is still FURNICATION that was mentioned by Jesus. You can as well check and study this portion in Greek Bible .
How Furnication can be done by married couples is what I have tried to enlighten you about.
However, I pray you have a light of the understanding of Gods word
Also I am open to your opinion with a large and free heart.
lol kjv is even one of the adultrated version
Only unmarried people commit fornication. Married people commit adultery
The original Greek word used in Matthew 19:9 is porneia (πορνεία), which translates broadly to "sexual immorality" or "unchastity
And most of these kjv error was corrected in nkjv
Nkjv - Mt 19:9
And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.
bjcole: You are still a baby Christian so no need to go to further with you. Go for revelational knowledge so you can't understand the in-depth knowledge. There is nothing wrong in remarrying after divorce irrespective of the condition.
Autopoly: Matthew 19:9 you go and check the Greek word for sexual immorality according to the Greek Bible which is the true version. The word is Porneia, which means furnication. However youd be wondering, married people cannot commit furnication, only unmarried which is a bit confusing and complicated.
But Jesus speaks by the Spirit of God understands that people of this generation will misinterpret as well as many Bible versions that are misleading.
Porneia which is furnication means that when you don’t meet her as a virgin or when it is a union based on incest , like a brother and a sister . These are Porneia.
Like in Yoruba culture where they take white handkerchief to test the virginity before the real wedding takes place .
But you met her as a virgin or not as a virgin and you agreed to proceed with the marriage and is sealed then , only death can separate you guys apart .
Make she or he dy carry man back to back , you guys are sealed for life . And you cannot chase him or her away , unless they voluntarily leave on their own Else you commit adultry because you chased her and bring another woman
May God give us more knowledge and understanding. Amen 🙏🏿
Oga rest 7 paragraphs yet you are afraid to quote the scripture...Once again rest in Jesus name
Mt 19: 7-9
Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”
8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
RandDigital: A pageant queen's hard work doesn't end when the crown is laid upon her head, it often continues months and years after her reign.
In the case of national glory, the queen is often looked upon to engage in social upliftment programmes throughout a timespan that often lasts a year until her successor is crowned.
The reigning queen often takes up causes to alleviate violence against women and children, poverty or healthcare, among others.
However, Chidimma Adetshina as Miss Universe Nigeria, Miss Africa and 1st runner up at Miss Universe did none of these, instead she abandoned her responsibilities and returned to her home country South Africa within weeks of her reign and disappeared into obscurity.
One has to ask of the organisers that invited her to Miss Universe Nigeria after she pulled out of Miss SA - were there no contractual obligations to keep her in Nigeria to carry out these duties?
As a Nigerian, does this sit comfortably with you?
An ingrate...I support whatever bashing she,'s getting from the SA
bjcole: Marriage and marital life have nothing to do with salvation and entering the kingdom of God. A divorcee is free to marry again, as long as he or she chooses too, what God is against is fornication and adultery.
Apostle Paul was a divorcee, and only chosed not marry again, but he advised those that can keep their body to marry again. And again it's better to divorce than remain in a abusive and loveless marriage that won't offer you anything other than agony and regrets. Pls choose happiness and Godliness
Show me where I said it is link to salvation
2. Show me where Paul was declared as a divorcee
The last time I checked, the scripture used UNMARRIED
To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single, as I am.

dododawa1: One of the daughters of veteran Yoruba actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, Kira Taiwo, has accused some Nigerians of trying to make money from her father’s battle with stage-four cancer.
Kira made the allegation during an emotional TikTok live session on Saturday, where she sobbed while speaking about her father’s condition and the financial demands allegedly being made by some people offering to help the family.
“My father is a good father. Some people are even trying to make money with us in this whole situation. Fear God. This one will come and bring solution, N800k, N5m, 11,000 dollars, N18,000 dollars. Do you want to make us broke? We are not billionaires,” she said.
She said the family was not financially capable of meeting such demands, stressing that their priority was to find treatment for the actor.
She also disclosed that the situation was taking a toll on her own wellbeing.
“I want to check my BP, I am not okay too,” she said.
Kira said the actor’s illness had also deeply affected his brother, whom she referred to as her “big daddy”.
She said she learnt about her uncle’s reaction from a family group chat where relatives regularly discuss her father’s health.
“That was the video my big daddy saw and on the group chat, where we always have our discussion about daddy’s health, I saw my cousin wrote something like, my big daddy was asking ‘Is Taiye going to die?’” she said.
Kira said her father and his brother shared a particularly close relationship, making the situation difficult for everyone in the family.
“My big daddy and my daddy, we are the children, we don’t even know who they love more. We don’t even know if it is we who are being or themselves. It is too much. My big daddy loves my daddy too much,” she said.
She said she was also worried about her uncle, adding that she believed he was struggling to cope with the situation.
“I am sure my big daddy is not okay, he is not fine. He is not fine. I don’t know,” Kira said.
The actor’s daughter said she had become withdrawn and avoided social media because she found it difficult to see pictures of her father while dealing with his illness.
“I don’t know how I will feel. I don’t even know how I will see the world again. If anything happens to my daddy… Please don’t think I am here to ask for sympathy or anything,” she said.
Kira said she had gone online to “cool off” but became emotional because of how deeply connected she was to her father.
“I am so connected to my daddy. Nothing can be okay, ever. He just want the best for everybody. He just want everybody to be okay,” she said.
PUNCH Online had reported that Kira and her sister, Lima Taiwo, recently appealed for help for their father, disclosing that he was battling stage-four cancer.
The daughters made separate emotional appeals on Instagram, urging Nigerians, well-wishers and medical professionals with experience in cancer treatment to help save the actor.
In her video, Lima said Ogogo’s condition had deteriorated and that hospitals had refused to continue treating him.
She said the family only discovered the extent of his illness about three weeks earlier because his physical appearance had not initially suggested that he was seriously ill.
You see him, you can’t even know that. Something is wrong that bad. It’s just starting to show. We didn’t even know until like three weeks ago,” she said.
Lima stressed that the family was not asking for financial donations but medical assistance.
“Please, I’m begging you. If you know somebody that knows somebody that will be willing to treat him, anything, we’re willing to try anything. We’re not here to ask for money. Nobody’s here to ask for money,” she said.
She also acknowledged the support provided by a relative during the family’s difficult period.
“My big uncle has helped a lot. He has been of great help. Like, nobody even knew that he would show up for us this way,” Lima said.
In a separate video, Kira disclosed that her father’s cancer was at stage four and said hospitals had told the family they could no longer continue chemotherapy.
“And I really, really, really love to appreciate Senator Yayi. He has been the one helping us, he has been the one footing the bills,” she said.
Kira appealed to medical professionals and anyone with access to cancer treatment to assist the actor.
“What I’m here for, what I’m here for is that if you can treat my daddy, if you can start chemo for him, whether it’s medical or herbs, please, I’m begging you, guys, I’m begging you, any help, anything, anybody that you know that can treat cancer, please, please, I’m begging you,” she said.
She urged anyone with information about a medical professional or facility capable of treating cancer to contact her, her sister or the actor.
Please, please, if you can treat my daddy, please send me a DM. I’ll be checking my phone. Please, I don’t want my daddy to die,” Kira said.
The daughter became emotional while describing her father’s condition, saying she had never seen him in such pain.
“God, give me strength. I’m suffering so bad. There’s no money, but if you know anybody that can treat my daddy, Andrew, please,” she said.
Kira added that her father had expressed fear of dying, saying, “He’s saying that he doesn’t want to die. Please, I’ve never seen my daddy in that kind of pain before.”
66-year-old Ogogo is a veteran of the Nigerian film industry whose career spans more than four decades.
He has featured in more than 300 films and is one of the prominent actors in Yoruba-language cinema.
cutecommend: Believe it or not, in the next 70 to 100 years, many or most people in this world, will be in another place outside this world. They will either be in heaven or hell fire.
Some people who have died probably saw death as strange or unreal to them. It may have looked like it cannot happen to them. They may have seen others die, probably not expecting that one day they will be dead too.
You that is alive, amend your ways and follow Jesus.
Pray now and tell Jesus to forgive all your sins and come into your life.
EVERYONE OF US WILL GO TO HEAVEN OR HELLFIRE
Not sure anyone believe that he will live forever. That's would be the craziest belief ever

Ruthy2026: Every Sunday, millions of Christians wake up, dress up, and head to church. For many, it is one of the most important routines of the week.
But here is a question worth asking:
If Sunday disappeared from the calendar tomorrow, would our relationship with God remain the same?
That question isn't meant to attack church attendance. In fact, gathering together has deep roots in Christianity. The New Testament records believers meeting on the first day of the week, including the church at Troas gathering to break bread and receive teaching.
But perhaps we sometimes focus so much on going to church that we forget the bigger purpose of being the Church.
Was Sunday always the Christian "Sabbath"?
This is where things get interesting.
The biblical Sabbath was the seventh day, and the history of Christian Sunday worship developed gradually rather than through one simple command changing Saturday to Sunday. Historical evidence indicates that early Christians increasingly gathered on Sunday because of its connection with Christ's resurrection, while Sabbath observance continued among some Jewish Christians.
The resurrection itself is described as occurring on the first day of the week.
So when Christians gather on Sunday today, the practice has a long historical and theological story behind it.
But perhaps the more important question is not "Saturday or Sunday?"
It is:
"What are we actually doing with our faith?"
Church Attendance Is Not the Same as Spiritual Growth
Someone can attend church every Sunday and still struggle to forgive.
Someone can know dozens of Bible verses and still treat people badly.
Someone can sit in the front row every week and never help the person sitting outside the church who needs encouragement.
And someone who misses a Sunday because of circumstances isn't automatically less faithful.
Jesus repeatedly challenged the idea that outward religious activity was enough. The Christian life is supposed to influence how we treat people, make decisions, handle money, forgive others, and live when nobody is watching.
That is where Sunday becomes more than a weekly appointment.
Church should change what happens after we leave church.
What If We Started Measuring Church Differently?
These are more of Nigerian churches in terms of fashion parade, cars n money display etc

mirrael68: No!! Read those verses again. Jesus wasn't giving infidelity as a reason for divorce. No. He was saying that if you divorce your wife for the sake of her infidelity, YOU are the cause of her adultery if she marries another. You are supposed to forgive her and not divorce her. So you partake in her sin of adultery. Divorce is not allowed in the Bible.
lolz If you are sure of yourself, why not quote the verse word for word
