Please I would like to know what it will take an engineering graduate to obtain Critical Skills work permit in SA.I was hinted by a few friends in SA that engineers are highly sought for in SA, don't know how true.

My Bachelors degree is in Electrical Engineering and I have about 2 years work experience.

Hi House. Please i Need help from anyone who has had this experience. I was at the SA embassy today to do document check towards submission for critical skills Visa and was told that i also have to include flight reservation and proof of accomodation. This two are not required for critical skills visa and i was surprised that they brought them up. I wish to know if any of the guys (@femiaction, @pyr8te) that have recently gotten critical skills Visa had this documents included. I will be most grateful for any helpful response.

Good morning Femiaction, thanks for your help thus far.I dont know if this forms part of your experience. I plan on applying with details of my wife and child (for the associated accompanied member visa). DO i need to get medical reports and yellow fever certificates for them too and part of my submission. Thanks a lot

Hi Femiaction. Please i need to know if there are specific Hospitals for medical and radiology reports. DO i have to take the medical form from the DHA website to the hospital. Secondly in terms of Financial Requirement,are they particular about actual sum in your account (being no less than 3000 rand) or cash flow through your account. I will appreciate your response as this are the areas i do not yet have covered. I am looking at applying upper tuesday.Thanks

Hello house. I got my Critical Skills Visa today. Many thanks to the gurus in the house who helped out on d occasions that I was stuck n needed some guidance. It was all a DIY thing from start to finish. Thanks all

didn't get your question clearly..

After evaluation, they will send you an email informing you the category you can register for.
since you are going through the evaluation process, the registration fee will be half of the original fee. when your registration is successful, they will send you an email about it and your registration number.
the confirmation letter and the registration certificate will be delivered to you 4 to 6wks later.

As for authenticity, I certified the photocopies of my certificates and went with the originals to their office when I was submitting mine

very long and tiring process...

if your B.Eng is not recognised as one of those in the washinton accord and syndey accord, you have to apply first for your foreign qualifications to be evaluated.
the amount last year was R1165. it takes about 10 weeks for them to do that.
After evaluation, they will advise you which category you can register for.. registration takes about 2months or thereabout.
check ecsa.co.za for more info. any other question, ask I will try and answer.

Pls don't just join the corrupt people paying any amount to agent to get visa.
You can surely donut urself.
I am a living witness to this. Got my permit myself, also my wife and even accompany for our kids.
The kids got denied more than once due to some reasons but we could still reappy with the right documents abd help from people here...typop, samto14, and all others. We got all advise from here and without paying any kobo to anybody. We all got out permits. Just be sincere and get the right documents.

ow do I make payment for saqa I was at the bank they said need to have domiciliary account before I pay am sure I can use my debit master card but how please if its for to go through online banking and get that there useless token once and for all and use it for futher transactions

I applied for 3months SA tourist visa and got an sms today for collection after 45 working days. Though i have been traveling to Asia during my 3yrs study but i have never been to SA so its my first time of applying but they denied me visa saying " fake bank statement". i am so confused because i used my personal bank statement . Please how long can it take for me to re apply. Can i re apply immediately? . Thanks
