The way PDP is complaining about EVERYTHING, ehn! It can only suggest the following:

1. They know they will lose, they just want to whip up public sentiments.

2. They have worked out a grand rigging scheme, and they are just trying hard to deflect public attention.

3. They are choking at the possibility of another four years without money to loot. They are broke.

Rossikki:

Dude, EVERYBODY survives what we call 'death'.

Put aside your bible for a second. Your traditional religions KNOW that death is merely a transition to a higher form of existence, and that the soul is immortal. All the ancient religions KNEW it, from the ancient Egyptians to the Nubians, to the Aztecs, the Buddhists, the Hindus, and the Greeks.

Even today, Near Death Experiencers have confirmed that when the body dies, the awareness/soul/consciousness, continues to exist.

The bible contains the lie that you can experience this NATURAL TRANSITION only if you ''believe in Jesus''.

This lie was a political ploy by the Council of Nicaea in ancient Rome, to gather as many converts as possible. This council, created by Roman emperor, Constantine, was instrumental in altering much of those texts, and including falsehoods therein, as well as selecting which texts were included in the 'bible' and which texts weren't. So you really should take the stuff you read in the bible with a large pinch of salt.

Time will tell.

theoriginalgood:
Why is it that all humans die someday? Even the Christians say “Jesus” died, but not: “God” died. In the Bible, Mark 10:18 says only God is truly good. I can believe this because all humans die and God does not. Humans are beings. God is a being. One dies, the other doesn’t. If you’re honest with yourself, you’ll know you’re not really a good being. Otherwise, you’ll never die. It’s undeniable. Then it should be no surprise to know that humanity is on the verge of extinction; there’s a war between Good and evil behind the scenes. Goodness should have just deleted evil at the beginning, but strangely, evil has enough power to prevent its immediate death. This is why humanity STILL exists today. But by definition, good is stronger than evil; Goodness will win the war and finally vanquish humanity after striking ENOUGH killer blows to evil.

Now, how come humans don’t exist in a perfect abode like what you could call Heaven? A place where there is only peace, one is always strong and healthy, no hatred, no dishonesty, no filth etc.

You are what you create! God is only good and thus cannot create anything that isn’t good. It is known that existence is full of many infirmities and rubbish. Who created those? Definitely not God! This therefore means that humans are actually all the sin, evil, bad, wrong, flaws etc in existence. Yes, there is a human out there who embodies bad breath, initials: BB = Barry Borden, who embodies body odor, initials: BO = Benjamin Oliver, who embodies weakness, initials: WN = Winifred Newton etc.

Good is stronger than evil, therefore God cannot be limited and is already omnipotent and omniscient. He can do absolutely anything good, but there is no such thing as purifying humanity. Making a change to a being means changing identity. Purging humanity would mean deleting the old identity of sin, and somehow creating a new one of purity. That deletion means death. They call it sinner, but that sinner is actually a sin itself!

The fact that humans die means humanity is not good. Accept it. Therefore there’s a higher power ensuring that existence will one day be purified. Too bad no one here will be there!

Religion / The Truth About This World by FemiEddy(m): 1:31am On Feb 08, 2019
Matthew 4:8-9

Satan's power is over all the nations of the earth. That could be very frightening when we realize he can influence men in such a way that they are not even aware that they are being influenced toward evil. His power is so extensive that he is over all the nations of the earth. Jesus calls him the ruler of this world (John 14:30). He affects people's attitudes by moving our reasoning processes toward satisfaction of the self. He gives disinformation and stirs up our spirit.

Here is what is so perverse about this: It is not evil for one to take care of himself. What is evil is to make the satisfaction of the self more important than God or others. We are to serve God before all else (the great commandment), and the second is like it—we are on an equal par with others physically. Nowhere are we given the right or privilege by God to make ourselves greater than or more important than God or other human beings.

We can imagine the direction Satan is going to move us toward—to the point that satisfaction of the self becomes more important than conforming to what God says is the limit of our authority. In other words, he will push us toward making ourselves greater or more important than righteousness or truth.

Luke 10:17-18

Like a great lightning bolt streaking out of the sky, this brilliant angel, shining with all of his glory—glory given to him by God—was cast to the earth. Where did he fall? He fell right where we are, to the earth, and now we have to deal with him.

John W. Ritenbaugh
Satan (Part 1)

John 8:44

A quick look at this world reveals that its loyalty is to Satan, who influences and rules it. He lies from the very depths of his character. In contrast, God does not and cannot lie, for truth is a primary attribute of His character (Hebrews 6:17-18; Numbers 23:19).

Martin G. Collins
The Ninth Commandment

John 17:14-16

The world Jesus speaks of is Satan's anti-God system working in and through men. Within it are the cultures of all nations on earth. Jesus is clearly not of that anti-God system, and He declares that those accompanying Him, the apostles, were not of the world either. They were of the same system as He—the Kingdom of God. The same is true of those in Christ today.

John W. Ritenbaugh
The Offerings of Leviticus (Part Eight): Conclusion (Part One)

1 Corinthians 15:22-25

These verses conclusively reveal that others will be called besides us, until Christ defeats all enemies of God's rule. Because every person who has conformed to the image of Satan is an enemy, God will eventually call all of mankind and confront each one about who their sovereign is! As Satan has deceived "the whole world" (Revelation 12:9), so in His time will God call the whole world.

John W. Ritenbaugh
The Sovereignty of God: Part Six

2 Corinthians 4:4

By blinding the minds of men to the true gospel of God, Satan has set himself up as a counterfeit of the Creator God. As the prince of the power of the air, he broadcasts his evil, rebellious attitudes to all humanity, and except for a few whom God has called out of his deceptions, the whole world lives under his sway (Ephesians 2:1-3; I John 5:19; Revelation 12:9).

Basic Doctrines: Satan's Origin and Destiny

2 Corinthians 4:4

This verse defines or reveals Satan's religious position. He receives homage as the one worshipped by the unconverted. Thus, the world pursues his plan and yields to his temptations while at the same time neglecting or rejecting the reign, the realm, the Kingdom, the rule of God.

John W. Ritenbaugh
What I Believe About Conspiracy Theories

Galatians 4:8

Before a person comes to know God, he serves those that are not gods by nature. Satan is the god of this world (I Corinthians 4:4), but he was not made to be so. In another place, I Corinthians 8:5, Paul says that there are many lords and many gods, but we know there is only one true God. Many beings attempt to pawn themselves off as gods, each of whom has a kind of "truth," or better, a "philosophy of life."

John W. Ritenbaugh
Truth (Part 1)

Ephesians 2:2

There is a direct connection between the prince of the power of the air - Satan - and this world. This must be true because this world is Satan's creation through unconverted men and women - the sons of Adam, as the Bible puts it. All of us have been sons of Adam.

John W. Ritenbaugh
Revelation 2-3 and Works

James 4:4

To have a warm, familiar attitude with this world is to be on good terms with God's enemy. What does it mean, in more practical terms, to be a friend of the world? It is to adopt the world's set of values and wants, to desire what the world wants instead of choosing according to divine standards or divine truths.

In other words, if a person does that, he has actually made himself subject to Satan because Satan is the god of this world! That is a choice that we want to avoid. The worldly person will almost invariably choose to satisfy himself and take action on his desire, which eventually produces confusion, division, and war. It cannot be otherwise because the spirit of the world is the spirit of Satan, and laws are at work that will produce what they are designed to produce.

That was the problem in the congregation to which James wrote. If another apostle had been writing it, such as the apostle Paul did in I Corinthians 3, he would say, "You are yet carnal." These were converted people but still carnal, and they were showing it through their choices. It was not that they did not have the Spirit of God but that they were still so weak spiritually. They were choosing to fall back on what they had in the way of character, understanding, knowledge, and vision from the world, and by this, they showed that Satan was still dominating their lives.

This is understandable because Satan is a wily and powerful adversary—but he can be overcome and defeated. Christ did it, and we can too because Christ is in us.

John W. Ritenbaugh
Satan (Part 5)

James 4:4

A series of scriptures will highlight the world's danger to us. The apostle James writes: "Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God" (James 4:4). This epistle is written to a Christian congregation. Even as the Old Testament shows Israel to be a spiritual adulteress to God through the people's disobedience following the making of the Old Covenant, so are Christians—as part of the bride of Christ, having made the New Covenant—spiritual adulterers when they unfaithfully disobey.

James is not saying these people are lost. He is warning them that they are heading in that direction because they were backsliding, having already been unfaithful. The unstated, yet clear cause of their being drawn back is the world, as if it were the seductive temptress of Proverbs 7.

James' counsel is that we cannot straddle the fence between God and the world. He is expounding the "no man can serve two masters" principle. These two relationships—God and the world—frame a black-and-white issue; this war has no neutral zone. A person cannot pursue his self-centered, worldly ambitions and still remain loyal to God.

The apostle uses the word philos, indicating something dear, which the New King James Version translates as "friend." He is stressing an affectionate, emotional attachment. Interestingly, The New Testament in Modern English by J.B. Phillips (1959) renders the warning as, "You are like unfaithful wives, flirting with the glamour of this world, and never realizing that to be the world's lover means becoming the enemy of God!" Seen this way, James describes them as silly, immature children, thoughtlessly gambling away their futures in the Kingdom of God.

I John 2:15 adds a refinement to James' warning: "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." The Greek word translated as "love" is agapao, which suggests a reasoned, determined love. Thus, John's counsel stresses willfulness rather than mere affectionate attachment. In comparison, one could even describe philos as an unbidden "puppy love," but agapao—never.

John is saying that we should not have intimate fellowship combined with loyal devotion to the world. Our relationship to it must be a more distant, hands-off one. We certainly must live and do business within it, but we have to fight to keep it from becoming the focus of our way of life. The spiritual reality is that, as we might say today, "The world stands ready to eat us alive." It chews Christians up and spits them out. If permitted, it can trash spiritual realities that may once have been cherished hopes and dreams.

Galatians 6:14 provides another guiding principle to hold dear: "But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." This is an example of Paul's spiritual outlook and maturity regarding his relationship with the world. As far as any relationship between him and the world is concerned, the world is dead and crucified, and so is he to it. It is vivid imagery. How much willful devotion can a person have in a relationship going nowhere because both parties are "dead" to each other?

John 15:18-23 adds more about why the world is dangerous to a Christian:

If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, "A servant is not greater than his master." If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates Me hates My Father also.

This is the fruit of the carnal mind's persistently disobedient attitude shown in Romans 8:7. The whole worldly system is anti-God. Even though the Christian world patronizes Him, in reality, it hates Jesus Christ, and therefore it hates those who truly follow Him. There is a simple reason why this continual reality exists.

Paul had renounced the whole worldly system. It no longer had any appeal to him; he was, in effect, dead in relation to it. However, the world's pressure never ends, which Paul notes in Romans 12:2, "Do not be conformed to this world." The Greek more correctly reads, "Stop allowing yourself to be fashioned to the pattern of this age," or as the J.B. Phillips translation puts it, "Don't let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold."

This is the danger we face when we allow the world to become too important. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. The world subtly but inexorably manipulates us into conformity with its thinking, its value systems, and therefore its attitudes and conduct. If we are alert and truly guarding against an invasion of worldly attitudes and practices, we will soon be able to notice when others relapse into following the course of the world.

The persistent influence of the world is a reality because Satan, the god of this world, is its driving force (II Corinthians 4:4). The world is Satan's medium, through which he broadcasts his propaganda and disinformation. By confusing people about what to believe, he intends to manipulate humanity. Satan's pitch to mankind is aimed directly at exciting human nature's self-indulgent cravings.

Due to this Satanic effort, even though we are converted, we are apt to become misinformed, lackadaisical, disinterested, and discouraged. We must be aware of it and absolutely resist it. The apostles' advice about avoiding intimacy with the world is a form of the proverb, "Evil company corrupts good habits" (I Corinthians 15:33). Friendship with the world corrupts.

John W. Ritenbaugh
The Christian Fight (Part Two)

1 John 5:19

"Lies in wickedness" should be translated "lies [under the sway of] the wicked one," as the New King James has it. John makes an all-inclusive statement of Satan's position in terms of the earth. The wicked one, the Devil, holds authority over all operations of all cultural systems on earth. He is the king, he holds authority, over what the Bible calls "the world."

John W. Ritenbaugh
What I Believe About Conspiracy Theories

Revelation 12:9

This verse brings Jude 6 around full-circle. We know the demons left their first estate on earth and were cast right back to it—the earth. Now they are here, and they are desperately trying to hang on to it, fighting against us and deceiving everyone on earth (Revelation 12:9)—the primary characteristic, the very thing God warns us about at the beginning of the book: The Serpent is the most cunning of all creatures (Genesis 3:1).

John W. Ritenbaugh
What I Believe About Conspiracy Theories

Revelation 13:1-18

Chapter 13 begins with a very colorful, almost overpowering, vision showing an overview of the political system that Satan works through.

There is just enough given here to connect this with the Daniel 2 and 7. What arises in Revelation 13 actually has its beginnings long before Jesus Christ, all the way back to Nimrod, showing a definite time progression. This is the system that rears its head at the end time, but the vision is given so that we will understand that this is the system that Satan has always worked through.

John W. Ritenbaugh
Revelation 10 and the Laodicean Church

Revelation 18:4

This warning is sobering because the course of this world is closer than ever to reaching its anti-God fullness. There has never been a time in the out-working of God's purpose when this advice is more urgently needed.

Among mankind, the course of the world did not begin in the original Babylon but in the Garden of Eden with the disbelieving conduct of Adam and Eve. They introduced the alien spirit and conduct among mankind - they were mankind at that time. Under the deceitful influence of Satan, they disbelieved God, following the Devil's line of reasoning and conduct. They spread it to their children, who spread it to their children, and so forth.

We have reached the time the Bible calls "the last days" or "the end time." We stand on the cusp of the Tribulation and Day of the Lord, and God's Word prophesies that Babylon will once again be on the scene of events - only this time its powerful influence will be felt worldwide. This time, Babylon not only has dominant armies, powerful economic and educational systems, and strongly entrenched and popular religions, but it also has extremely effective mass communication networks to disseminate its ways into the minds of men, influencing men against their Creator and His people.

Thus, God's urgent warning to take action while one can. The influence of Babylon is imposed through communication. It occurs when we experience countless examples of misguided conduct by those who - unknown to them - are already enslaved by its evil influence.

The apostles Paul and John speak of this largely unrecognized burden mankind carries. In II Corinthians 4:3-4, Paul writes, "But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them."

Additional subtle influence occurs when a person experiences Babylon's ways and words and fails to monitor the attitudes he picks up and lives. Perhaps above all, men must deal with the inaudible but nonetheless attractive and powerful spiritual communication of Babylon's invisible god and leader, the prince of the power of the air, and his hordes of equally invisible demons. Resisting it can be a daunting task even for those aware that this communication is occurring; it calls on one to be constantly on guard. Nevertheless, resisting the communication is the key to blunting Babylon's siren call.

God admonishes us to come out of her, but there is physically no place to go! The influence of Satan through Babylon's powers of communication is everywhere. In Revelation 12:9, the apostle John confirms we have no place to run because this world's god and his assistants have been permitted to communicate with and deceive mankind over the whole earth: "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." We have been born into this ready-made, deceived world, taken it for granted, and absorbed it until God revealed an alternative.

Compared to previous Babylons, the major difference in what we now face in modern Babylon lies in the intensity, availability, and receptivity of its communication. As far as we know, mankind has never before been confronted by these twisted, persuasive, demonic powers as he is today. They now have the global use of the visible and audible influence of radio, music, movies, television, and the Internet, in addition to the entrenched systems of thought and standards of conduct.

There is no place to run. The battle to resist, then, is almost entirely internal - it is fought right where we live and conduct the business of life. What we must believe, and trust with steely determination and discipline, is that God never gives a person a responsibility impossible to perform (see the principle in I Corinthians 10:13). What God commands of us we can do! Therefore, if He commands we come out, we can come out right where we are. The coming out will not be a physical leaving of a geographical area but a departure from Babylon's spiritual and physical influence.

This is not to say that changing one's physical location will not be helpful in fighting the spiritual battle - just as not frequenting a den of iniquity has definite advantages! It is logical to assume that the intensity of evil communication would be worse in the heart of Babylon than out in the hinterlands. However, we must acknowledge the reality that we can take Babylon's influence with us wherever we might go on earth. Even going to live on a deserted island will not spare us the burden of the influence Babylon has already exerted on us.

Undertaker001:
they say bring evidence and you are here typing what we have already seen countless times
Does God exist? We have to realize, friends, that this is not just about having the best argument and winning the debate. Its about truth. You see, logically, one side is fatally wrong, and the other is distinctly correct. One side promotes a life that will eventually be proved useless and the other utilizes its earthly time correctly (be it freely without God or in worship of God). And then of course, if God does exist, by the same premise of logic only one religion can be true, and all others flukes. They are no better than those who live as though He didn't exist.

That is why it is essential that in this discussion we put aside all anger and strife and really take a deep breath and consider the other side. You do realize that if God exists, then if you're in willful sin, you are in trouble, right? And as the Apostle Paul of the Bible says, believer, you are to be most pitied if what you believe in is a sham. You ought to eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow you die!

Now in my next couple of posts I shall be calling up to the witness stand some Bible verses that I believe not only prove God's existence, but substantiate Christ as the only Way to God. These are not verses that've been used much, if at all, in this debate and I'm hoping they might bring some perspective. Only one verse today:

"so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous." Matthew 5:45

Isn't it ironic that one of the main arguments against the Christian God ( I say "Christian God" because only in Christianity does He claim to be love) is all the suffering in the world, even though the Bible explicitly explains the answer. Why does He allow it? Well, let's start here, if a loving God does not exist, then why is it that wicked people all around have sunshine and rain? I mean, if we are judging by some pantheistic moral standard that we have made up, then why is it that our self made God doesn't withhold food and drink from the wicked? Do we even understand what we are asking for when we ask for all suffering to end? Do we realize that we are asking Him to swipe the world clean of us? Yes, my friend, you and I. We are so evil we cant even hide it. I mean, we read the news, don't we? What do we find here almost every day? Atrocities upon atrocities caused not by nature but by humans on other humans. Yet God still sends us sunshine and rain. Imagine this. The guy who raped a little girl is going to get water to drink tomorrow. But why?

Well, only Christianity can answer that question."God shows us His love in this, that whilst we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8. You see, my fiend, the fact that everyone on earth, the ones we deem "wicked" and those we deem "good", both have sunshine and rain, and eat and are filled, is proof of not only God's existence (by virtue of the fact that He is good and merciful) but also that the Christian view is the only accurate one because it explains why God would allow this. That all might come to redemption by the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who lived, died under the wrath of God and rose again for the forgiveness of all who would turn away from their wickedness and believe in His name.

With this I ask again

Why do born again Christians die after becoming born again??
Being a born again doesn't make a person become immortal, everyone will die , but being a born again means there is life after death, Eternal life, thats why you see Jesus disciples were persecuted (tortured & killed) but they were not afraid of death neither did they deny Christ, why ? Because they know there is life after death for them. The greatest fear of Man on Earth is death , but True christian's are not afraid of death because Jesus Christ whom They follow already conquered death, though most Christian's we see around nowadays are just calling themselves Christian's , They are not truly born again Christian's. I am not condemning anyone , I am just saying what we all see and the truth.

Drugs and alcohol are also a very crazy time wasters, I was once a weed smoker wink , I feel like yeaaaaa, am high , chilling , bro , that shit feels good , but our organs is getting damaged on a low-key, drugs affect decision making , if am high and am too choose to build do some work or chill out with friends , I will do the latter , that's drugs , it makes you feel good whereas it's just like sacrificing your organs gradually to feel good , Tramadol, Heroine , Cocaine etc This are Time killers, 99% of people taking drugs are broke , hopeless, depressed people. Its very easy to commit suicide when you on drugs .....never forget that. ALCOHOL IS BAD WHEN CONSUMED TOO MUCH , MODERATION IS KEY. I love Henieken , I take a bottle or two of Henieken and thats all , no friend can push me or all dose shit, STOP TAKING ALL THIS GREEN BOTTLE ALCOHOL such as bajinatu and so on , Those shit are ruining lives on a low , please .......stay with me

Firstly, Religion was not created by God, we men created that, let me tell you , for political reasons and to divide Humanity. Hello, Religion is a Time a waster, That's why we have many poor religious people, Religion is a system that orders you around , If you can not read your Holy books (Bible , Quran etc) and pray to God but you have to wait for a pastor or religious leader to order you around , You are wasting your Time .........stay with me

Your greatest Investment is the Investment of your Time. There are so many things taking away that at the moment, if you are not earning any income through social media and you spend hours on social media , you are simply wasting your time. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and alot of others are here to take your time to make money. The more time they get from you, the more money they make, never forget that. You would think you are having fun , mingling, making friends , chasing that chick, yoh! Your most precious commodity is going.
Another great time waster is the entertainment industry...........stay with me

Kaetoh:
How do Nigerians expect these kinds to move them forward in a period of rapid global economic advancement as seen in countries all over the world except African countries Just how please . We the youths keep displaying religious and ethnic bigotry in very serious issues. How gullible have the masses become? We age everyday yet without any tangible earnings, talk more of savings yet people pile up every day under rain and sun to support these blind leaders who care less about them. Your parents are even better off, at least they served the country as youngs albeit left in their old age to struggle for their pensions which often times they die doing this. Think about yourself, think about your old age when you won't have no government handouts as pensions. Then your bones are weak and you have no pensions, no savings, no investments , no support, no insurance and no hope. Make hay while the sun lasts. Say no to bigotry of any sort, make the best of choices in the forthcoming elections. Do not give in to ethnic or religious bigotry.
God Bless You! can we be pals?
