[[s]quote author=str8talk1 post=40145525]Administrative recklessness. The FG prides itself in having only 10 aircrafts 4 d presidency where other advanced developed countries of d world hv btw 0 - 1 aircraft for her govt. And some idiots here will tell me dis govt. is frugal. [/quote[/s]] please don't say what you don't know most especially on social media. Others will see you as somebody with now knowledge. Don't you think they would see you as the real "Idiot"? Apologies for using that word, i picked it from you. . Check the link below for knowledge reasons on presidential feet across the Globe. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_transports_of_heads_of_state_and_government |
Pavarottii:Please can somebody who is an apostle of NEW NIGERIA be kind enough to explain in a simple but clear term what everyone on this thread are actaully saying. Are you guys saying GEJ administrative style is much better and that of PMB? Do people think we should have voted GEJ for another 4year term? Are people saying it was a wrong decision to have voted for PMB? (Considering the state of our nation presently) would they have been able to manage it? What exactly do we people actually want? With all manner of comments above so far? I doubt the credentials of people that make comments on National Issues. Please forget political position, a large number of our so called political office holder are not even as well read as some of you guys. Yet same people will talk and the next thing u people would start responding without thinking. SAY WHAT YOU WANT AND GIVE REASEONS......... |
FREEDOM4BIAFRA:There is hope for the sick than for the dead. NIGERIA HAS COME TO STAY. This nation shall survive come what may. |
teebaxy:PMB always says "MY VICE PRESIDENT AND I" that sounds like a team.... I have never heard any of our past Nigerian president referring to their Vice in that manner except during election campaigns. |
Ikengawo: |
Ujupsy:It does not take a "world renowned world class economist" to fix Nigeria problems what is required is just "willing and a patriotic heart of a leader" |
Adminisher:GBAM! You are on POINT. Sometimes I find it so difficult to understand what goes on in the mind of people. Their write-ups shows they are not Illiterate then I wonder who they are..... I would assume they gush out their un-objective and politically motivated opinion on "PURPOSE" with a motive to force wrong ideas into our head. Thanks to God some of us reads with our 3 eyes opened OP/and others in support of this post, Please kindly note that it is on record that the past government under the watch of GEJ has mop out the entire budget of 2015 in the name of election reason why we are struggling now. The new Government in town is not ready to do anything out side of the constitution so that they don't commit same error of the past Government. The tenure of PMB starts in JAN 2016, technically. So lets starts our constructive criticism of PMB starting next year.2016 |
As much as there is nothing bad in seeing a public servant like FAYOSE roaming the street of Ekiti, what important does it make when an average person in same state is leaving below their means. Salaries not paid.. I think is very important we all open our minds and THINK. Politicians are same, they never change their skin. They show postures you want to see, They tell you what u want to hear as long has it would make you feel they are what they not. Where is MR AYO main work since he has been in the office? Please let us be real..... |
There was a "Ghastly Accident" at warehouse Road Apapa, Lagos. The accident happened in the early hour of today. The SUV on top speed hits a parked trailer from the rear ends. See the pictures below

This is call to service and huge responsibilities on shoulders of these selected ministers. This is the first time in the history this country that the whole nation would be attaching so much importance to ministerial positions reason why individual of them would want to prove thier worth. I have no doubt that people like Fashola for power would do the needful. I can't wait to see the "NEW NIGERIA" in the hands of these architects. For us to see good things coming from these few ones, our collective cooperation is essential. PLEASE PLAY YOUR PART. |

adsami1:Well talk. You have nailed it all. Am still waiting to see one person outside the royal family in England whether a Citizen or immigrant to visit Buckingham Palace in London and conduct himself rudely simply because he owns Gatwick Airport or Stafford bridge stadium in London.(yet this are same people that practice human right to the letter) Am sure I may have to wait till the end of the world. I still need somebody to give me names of state/City/town in the eastern part of this country where Yoruba's enjoys the liberty as much as Igbos do in the west. (For the sake of people who reads with one eye , )I have not said there is nowhere in the eastern state, I only asked for knowledge reasons. Exert from FASHOLA 's Screening response to the Senate "Freedom of Speech,Freedom of movement e.t.c are not absolute. Its is our individual responsibility to conduct ourselves in a proper manner and be a law abiding citizen wherever we find ourselves". |
LouisVanGaal:Bros I shared your views. Better still, PMB made it clear from the day one at Taslim Balogun, stadium in Lagos when he won the APC primaries for 2015 election that He would uphold the rule of law. No single person in his government has been convicted in the Court of law as we speak. And the last time I checked, PMB is now a democratically elected president of Federal Republic of Nigeria. He governs by constitution and not by Decree. No accused person(s) is guilty until he or she has been proved to be in the court of law. PMB is guided by the rule of law and until our judiciary do the needful then we are all in for a movie with no ends....... even PMB will be is helpless...... |
Why can't you guys use your data reasonably. Just thinking..... |
madridguy:Am sure people like you will never say GEJ is a "thief" with huge miss-appropriations that happened under him as the president in just six years.......of which I strongly believe he is not a thief as a person. The fact that all you have mentioned happened under OBJ govt happened may not necessarily make the Old man a thief as a person. He may have not manage the affairs of the country rightly then but that is not enough to call a man old enough to be your father or grand father a thief. Please remember we are talking about our leaders here. little wonder somebody said and I quote "Nigerians deserved the kind of leaders they have" As for I.A, the guy has simply lost his level in music. He has refused to grow up. You don't insult your elders/leaders publicly in the name of patriotism and yet you want to be reckoned/relevant in a sane society. I watched his interview during pre-2015 elections campaigns where he was spitting out fire to campaign for Jonathan to continue. He promised to personally mobilize and lead his colleague in the music industry to campaign and vote for GEJ,(when money speaks). I truly saw his other colleague but surprisingly, IDRIS was nowhere to be found throughout the campaign exercise. Where was he ?? (May be the shares changed route.... ) If I.A is actually in his right sense of judgement, why cant he know that GEJ is not worth to be the next Nigerian president based on the revelation of mess that happened under him. The last time I checked, It was same OBJ that presented GEJ to us ? years back. Mr Idris, please don't come here to pollute our thinking to start calling our leaders names, same reason you are no more in vogue in the industry which you ought to be honoured as one of the revolutionary agent. OBJ/GEJ have tried their individual best even though their best may not be good to score. Play your part and stay focus........ |
1. “My names are.” I was told that several senators (or is it ministerial nominees; forgive me because I didn’t watch the whole live or recorded broadcast) introduced themselves by saying “my names are….” Well, as I have written in several articles, that’s illiterate English. The conventional expression is “my name is” irrespective of the number of names of you have. 1. “My names are.” I was told that several senators (or is it ministerial nominees; forgive me because I didn’t watch the whole live or recorded broadcast) introduced themselves by saying “my names are….” Well, as I have written in several articles, that’s illiterate English. Is this a typo error? kindly educate me. |
I Think it is not right for our leaders (Governors) to still atending birthday, wedding and social events dancing when their employees could not pay school fees of thier children. I don't even want to imagine the plight of families who husband and wife are both civil servants. 5,6,7 months of no source of income to run thier homes affairs. Can anyone share view? |
Yeye man. On whose advice are you waiting for the ministerial list of a change you never believed in. You are just on your own. You are not and never can you be a Yoruba representive. Go and spend what you ve earned from running your mouth against Change and Nagative criticism. ![]() |
Good works to ALL on this thread. I have followed this thread keenly 1-24th page and I have also been on Nairaland for some time now, but I will say, this is the best I have ever seen. All of you guys are so matured, intelligent and with good sense of integrity. Please don't be offended that am NOT discussing matters on Bower, Farrows Growers, Tips, Weaners etc. ...(I have never heard about those terms until I started following this thread) meaning "am a JJC" ![]() All of you are wonderful minds, most especially GLORIA.-- Coming out publicly again to share a good testimony of Deji after the bashing is a huge sign of good humility from her. Am also impressed by CHARLES‘s understanding too and i guess same reason he didn’t add further derailing observations. DEJI’S sense of wisdom, maturity and quest for standard are mind blowing. My kudos to the entire gurus in pig business on this thread, you have all made my reading /learning worth it. You guys are example of the type of youth of my good Nation/Nigeria dreams. Good Job Brothers and Sisters. From West/East & North/South and from Keziehenry (1pg) to AreaFada2(12pg) and to dynamix101 (24 pg.) speaking only one voice. Sir/ma, what is the latest on the piggery Association? Please kindly update all. I will encourage every great mind on this thread to join. Regards to All Femi |
What motivated Buhari ‘s attitude to the Southeast, I don’t know. What did we do to deserve comprehensive hatred of the Southeast people”, he asks rhetorically. Same reasons you did not vote for PMB 100 days ago. Am so sorry, you may have to leave with this for the next 4years........just think. |
They will Never see anything good in PMB even if the Man turn Nigeria to America. The one who chose to close his eye is worst then the Blind man. |
"We are building a refinery and our refinery will make more money if there is subsidy" A Business man would always want to do business that would make him seems successful even if it means doing it at the expense of poor masses. Please let us all read between the lines when rich or powerful men talks. They sometimes takes advantage of our ignorance on issues they think they Know more about. All our economist has lately said " removing this subsidy is the only way forward for our present economy Situation". Dangote knows that with his refinery here in Nigeria,+subsidy he would be making more money to himself at the expense of the poor Nigerians. With my little understanding of demand and Supply, i Know that if demand for dollar by (FUEL) importer reduces by buying from local refinery , it would force the price of Dollar down. But as it is now, I no go Skool. Rich Man don talk finish. |

barcanista:Are they not same group of people that was part of GEJ (PDP) 6years of total mismanagement of this nation Now afraid to become a MINORITY which they really are. They hijack power at the N/A just to make sure that their past is covered. They plan a political coup against agent of change but forgetting that all of them together are less than 2% of 150millions Nigerian. Their plan is to pocket the Presidency and handicap the process of Rule of Law. They don’t have the interest of the public at heart. They are only concern is on how to be politically relevant at the expense of innocent poor Nigerians. Every REASONABLE AND NON-SENTIMENTAL Nigerian should hence be prepared because it’s going to be WAR between less than 2% Looters of our economic wealth and the rest of 149.9million Nigerian suffering. They should also be quick to remember that the International communities which they always run to hide with their loots has already approved, supports the change in Nigeria and obviously watching the trend of things going on. It is never going to be business as usual and would never be business as usual in this country. Please support the struggle! THE MASSES MUST WIN AS GOD WINS!!!! |
FreeGlobe:Olodo, oooooo Just 4 letter word u can't spell correctly.Anyways,W-E-E-K is the correct word and not weak as u suggested in your earlier idiotic comment. |
grandlexuz:Its is even 7years Considering the DAY and NIGHT Rules. |
This would make the huge CHANGE in the history of Nigeria politics to have a first Female elected Governor. This scenario shows Nigerian electorate are gradually growing in the full knowledge of democracy and understanding of what governance really means. Am proved that my generation witness this great transformation process in Nigeria ’s democracy. |
Obviously WIKE, Giving the account of the International Observers and some confirmed irregularities that mar the April 11 election in Rivers State. I foresee a Re-Run. |
uote author=logica post=28421120]So you STILL don't see from this blaggidy blah blah of yours how a "cheating" man's situation is quite different from a cheating woman? Why didn't Femi take one of the children from another woman and present to another woman and say "hey baby, this is our child". If you still don't get it, don't bother with another epistle.
It would be a matter of time when Oga Femi too would start welcoming his biological children from men whom he has been screw...ing their wives .Na turn by turn (nemesis ) |
incrediblestev:Thank you so much for this your thoughtful and objective response. Please Ask the Femi of a man,(outside Fame and Money), what would make a responsible man not to have a woman(wife) under his roof ? As we speak now, None of those women were with him. Meaning apart from his first wife, the other women were possibly some else’s wife before he starts jumping on them. In my Opinion , I think Femi at 46 should be ashamed of himself. He has betray many of his fan’s respect and am much disappointed for bring this to the public hear. Those innocent children would see this threads one day and they would never forgive him. If this happen in a civilised society where child right is well protected , i think by now Femi should probably be facing some Law charges..... |
davo3286: Fashola is saying trash, in my opinion, and should quit saying it. Since when has 'we' become 'I'!?I am most ashamed of all you jobless guys on this tread. Fashola did not ask for his praise or his party’s praise. He never referred to President Jonathan’s comment on independent day. He said some politician “At various rallies across Nigeria, ruling party politicians have continued to cite Nigeria’s success on the virus as among the achievements of President Goodluck Jonathan and the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party.” TAN. Always read with two of your eyes open so that you can understand clearly . How i wished all of you attacking Fashola’s comment were REAL. Nigerians are wiser now and smarter than you narrow minded few set of people think. You people were not real. You are the few that this dirty politician has paid the cheap price of your conscience. Now, my question is this, How much were you paid to betray yourself. Am waiting for the time that somebody would tell you to go and hang yourself for his selfish interest and you would comply on cheap pay. OCCUPY SOCIAL MEDIA, PRESIDENCY TELLS SUPPORTERS Occupy Social Media, Presidency Tells Supporters Mbachu Godwin Nnanna — Aug 16, 2014 |8 Comments The presidency yesterday openly challenged the supporters of President Goodluck Jonathan all over the country and in the diaspora to use social media platforms to discuss President Goodluck Jonathan’s achievements, ahead of the 2015 general elections. Special assistant to the president on Political Affairs, Prof. Rufa’i Ahmed Alkali, who spoke at the official inauguration of Friends Of Goodluck (FOG) yesterday in Abuja, said the president’s supporters were not supporting him enough on social media. “When we go on social media we hardly see responses of Friends of Goodluck, what are we doing?” he asked, adding: “Friends of Goodluck should talk more positively about Nigeria, because Nigeria is our country and we have to defend it.” Prof. Alkali who described FOG as the first group to approach him to be a member of the group, even before he was appointed as special adviser, assured them of recognition. Also speaking, special assistant to the president on Ethics and Values, Dr Sarah Jubril, said in her keynote address, that the name of the organisation connotes that good Nigerians who believe in the dream of the present administration will always support Jonathan. While making his remarks, chairman board of trustees of FOG, Col. Theophilus Bamigboye told the gathering that he was yet to fail at anything, thus he believes the present task of ensuring President Jonathan is re-elected, will be successful. In his welcome address, director-general of the FOG, Hon. Tom Itua, said the mandate of the organisation is to help in building and reinforcing a solid core of support and goodwill for President Jonathan throughout the country, to actualise his re-election in 2015. He revealed that FOG has put in place structures in all the 36 states and FCT, including the 109 senatorial districts, 774 local government areas and 8,809 registration areas throughout the country, that will enable the group focus on the electorate. A large number Nigerian could now read between the lines. We pay close attention to what people(Politician) don’t say than what they are saying . People should learn to be Objective. |
?? Blame the senate!
Those involved in the fight to ensure Ebola didn't escalate are Nigerians and did it selflessly for love of job and country. So, I don't think it is out of place for any one who to say we conquered Ebola (even though he wasn't directly involved) to mean that he is taking the credit to himself. When GEJ addressed the UN few days ago about Ebola he didn't say 'I conquered...' But 'we conquered...' So did the minister of health when he addressed the press. Because which ever which way you look at it, we all contributed to the success. I think what Fashola is trying to say, indirectly, is that the credit should go to him and not GEJ. Period!
