When baba said "I'm not for anybody. I'm for everybody" una think sey he dey lie. It's just a pity that despite his good intentions for the Igbo people (which I'm very sure of), we're already headstrong in actualizing the emancipation of the sovereign state of BIAFRA. Buh all the same....

God bless PMB

Nairaland General › Help The Poor by Feranchek(op): 1:52pm On Aug 05, 2015
Most times when we walk into big malls, boutiques, supermarkets, we never question their prices. We pay exactly what we see on the price tags and even hand out tips to the staff. The moment we are out of these shops and want to buy banana, our bargaining game gets off to the roof.

A poor widow with 5 hungry children at home tells you banana is N100. She even takes out her time to explain how difficult it was for her to even buy it and how bad the economy is. We still insist on paying N50 for it. Some of us even step back into our cars to drive away. Because 'half bread is better than chin chin', this woman is forced to call you back and sell to you at little or no gain. In her heart, she cries, she's worried about how she'll survive with her children. She silently reassures herself that 'It's well and that God will definitely provide' while you happily eat the luscious banana.
Take some time out and think about this, guys. Please do not bargain hard with vendors like this. They do business not to buy designer bags, Gucci shoes and designer clothes but to LIVE and EAT for that day and the children share the remaining money among themselves to take to school the next day (and that's if there's any left).

Hehehehe.... Gat this calabar chic j met on social media some time ago. Coincidentally, she was residing close to my crib (3 streets away)
We met and became acquitted with each other. I then told her I liked her and will like her to be my girlfriend (I hate beating around the bush). She neither said Yes or No. I didn't push it. Later, some months, I brought it up again and she reacted same way as she did the 1st time. Buh while the months passed, I was always giving her whatever she asked for in my little capacity hoping and praying she'll see it as a kind gesture and give me a chance (this babe fine die!!!) Buh na lie o0o0o! She never said a thing. A year later, I asked her again and she just use talk cover the matter, I kon reason am sey, e be like sey this babe wan use me do Maga while I'm on the friend zone. After reading from tosin and other romancelanders on how to know and leave the friend zone, I sharperly jumped out of there 1st. Now I'm slowly buh politely not being her Maga anymore. And you know the formation this babe dey usehuh She won't ask you for 10k or 5k or big things. "I need 2k for one tin on school. I wan change my hair and na 1k.... bla bla bla" if you kon check am, in a month you don drop 5k for this babe.... WHAT??!!!!!!
For 3 weeks now she's been 'begging' me to 'bless' her (that was the word she used. Lol)

Buh, the coded NO, like the op said, is always helping me out grin grin

Hahahahahahahahahaha! Reminds me of an experience I had WAY back! There was this chic I was wooing via some social network back then. She's gat this very lovely voice that you'll think she was an angel that lost her way.... when the D day finally came, she told me she was at the end of my street waiting for me to come take her to my crib. My kid bro was with me then so I asked him to come along with me. When I was within a stone throw from where she stood, I saw too ladies- one was BEAUTIFUL, while the other was WACK! So to be sure that the BEAUTIFUL one was my 'Angel' , I picked my phone up and dialed her number (without putting the phone to my ear) Lo and behold, the Worgly one picked it and i was like..... CHINEKE!!!! Buh as a coded guy na, I just walked past both of them and continued giving the pomo girl a closer look (got a sun shade). Na my kid bro kon beg me sey make I pity her cos of where she was coming from.... I just went back, forced a smile and said "Hi". We spoke for bout 5 mins while standing then I discharged her sharperly!

Thank God for the latest social networking we've got now sha....

,Not true

If u stay in Lagos, and happen to have a taste of Abuja small, believe me, u will never want to go back to ,Lagos.

What can be better than living a less stressful life and yet, making your cool dough.

Everything about Lagos, is just stress.

Going to work-- stress.
Going to church-- stress.
Going to have fun-- stress.
Even, to enjoy your the money,-- stress too.

What is good about a city of madness, being held in traffic for hours. staying in d office till 10pm in order to beat traffic, and having to wake up 3am to also beat traffic.

And, fyi, accommodation is affordable in Abuja. it depends on where u want to say. Dont stay in a house ur only two months salary cannot pay for..(that's my rule). (We didn't come to Abuja for landlords abeg.)

Abuja is the city of big boys and gals.
MinE is 3 months....
