Raping an individual can create a long lasting psychological truama, which they have to deal with all their lives. This has affected some marriages and some relationships (where family role is being played). The victim; male or female may find it difficult to have a good sexual activity with the other gender in case of marriage. It has also broken homes due to the understanding of the damage done to the victim is not felt.

Why is rape still an issue in this generation of free lifestyle; where we have brothels?
Sex workers popularly known as Prostitute are available. With a little token one can get his required satisfaction than putting their fellow being in a truama for the rest of their lives.

Some will argue that going to prostitute or brothels will affect one's destiny. And raping will not affect the victim's destiny?

Some of our sisters who are saucy. When approached by male species, instead of talking to such men politely, they rain insults on them. Let's take it from the medical line. The difference between vaccines and drugs could be illustrative to the rape situation in Nigeria.

I don't think so honestly. Take a look at other African countries, you will find that it is mainly countries who can afford it that execute fairly adequate tests. Countries like South Africa, Egypt, Algeria and Ghana.
Ghana really stands out because they got it right, right from the onset of the pandemic, hence they were able to checkmate the death rate. But not so with countries who lingered at the outset between what to do and what not to do. I have wondered, what does a nation stand to gain by politicing the pandemic? Many only scream scam, scam but are not able to put forward any reasonable argument but simply rest their case on unfounded disbelief. If the govt is corrupt is no reason to reject obvious reality. And whoever thinks one govt needs Covid-19 to embezzle knows little or nothing about the actual behaviour of corruption in our clime. Conspiracy theories are very easy to conceptualize as they easily win the soul and sympathy of those struggling under the weight of biting economic pressures.
The current slow pace of testing will leave us with this virus for a long time to come, unless it weakens out on its own.
