Experienced mama in the house pls come oooo, I had my C.S 10 days ago but from the third day I always have a very hot and peppery sensation at the right corner of the incision but whenever I complaints the nurses will ask me to use suppository, fast forwarding to the day of discharge the doctor wrote Kito kit cream but was out of stock of the hospital pharmacy so I thought when I get home I would buy it at the pharmacy close to my house, walai I no know say I don Jones.
I have sent my sis to to get it since yesterday but she couldn't ,I had to go out myself yet it is not available in all the pharmacy in my locality, I had to send my lil sis to go to ikorodu she has gone since morning but still couldn't get the cream.
pls is there anyone that have experienced a slight opening at the incision sight, pls what did you use and is there any other alternative to he kito kit cream as it is not available and my hospital is very far from where I stay else I would have gone back to the hospital.

Well, going by my own experience with cs, the sides healed slower than every other part of the scar. I had the burning sensational pain too. I didn't apply anything, just kept dabbing with very little spirit. I tried as much as possible to reduce pressure on the sides. You know there's more pressure at the ends of the cs scar when you try to get up or sit up fast. Mine healed on its own but it took a longer time. I don't know if this explains your question.

Please Mamas with CS experience, does taking diary products or any food in particular disrupt the healing of the wound?
Mine is bringing out pox though the doctors are checking me up every 2 days. They had to cover it again. Water has never touched the site so I don’t know why the pox is there.
I believe God for complete healing nonetheless. He brought me this far, I know He wouldn’t leave me.

Taking milk has nothing to do with the pus. Pus signifies that the wound is infected. hope you clean with spirit?

Just realized I have bruised my scar cos of wearing pants to keep my pad in place and the pain is stinging. Kindly help!

OK, personally, I wore loose or disposable pants that are light to avoid injury. I think you should get disposable pants

My January mamas how are we doing? We are now in the last weeks of honeymoon phase Good thing is we are moving closer to our permanent site, May God make our 3rd trimester super easy.

I finally did another scan and confirmed my baby girl, my baby K ...I'm so happy, God indeed answered my prayers and I can hang my boots after her. Now I can start buying those cute little baby girl clothes ive been craving

Have we started shopping yet? Especially our first timers, have you gotten hospital list? Its best to start buying some items small small cos the inflation rate in Nigeria is not funny at all..it feels like every time I go to the market the prices are higher Maybe God help us.

The top 2 dryers I know are
Evergreen and LMV.
Both are very expensive but will last long.
You can buy other types that your budget will accommodate but you'll just be extra careful not to spread heavy clothes on it.



What I did was make an iron dryer from welders (painted) for adult clothes and the packaged dryer was for my babies only.
Although this will work if you have a big yard or balcony to put them in plus the plastic Hanger is easier to carry in case of rain or night fall.

Thanks ma, I have the iron ones for adult clothes, just wanted to buy the plastic one for baby in case I need to adjust the position according to the ray of sunshine sometimes

I think it's by boiling with water and sieving. It's the water that they drink. Am not so sure o, let other mamas come and talk

My dear, you have to recover fully o before you can engage in any tummy exercise. I always took the herbal peppersoup (aju mbaise) for up to 3months together with warm water.

I am scared of trying a vbac too. I just said I would be reading BS and see if I will get any Mama that tried it. My first delivery was vd while the second was cs. I am confused too, my doc has cleared me for vbac cos it's been 4 yrs after my previous cs

I have used pronatal some 4years back and it's OK. I have no complaints about it

P. s: Same way Gestational Trophoblastic Disorders would give you a positive pregnancy test... Same way an ectopic pregnancy would give you a positive pregnancy test. All these, until an abdominopelvic ultrasound is done to rule in or out.

Ectopic pregnancy and all confirm pregnancy. There is already a pregnancy before confirming if it's ectopic or not. I am a medical professional too. I am a pharmacist, I know what I am saying. If a patient comes to you and asks you to confirm if she is pregnant, the first thing to do is to do a blood pt test to confirm pregnancy before going on to do a scan. That is all I am saying. Personally, nan is perfect for me. I used nan for all my kids. I will still stick with nan anytime any day

No ma'am. Blood pregnancy test is NOT confirmatory for pregnancy. The ONLY confirmatory test for pregnancy is an abdominopelvic ultrasound. Blood test is just one of a series of test for pregnancy but NOT confirmatory.

Soloblincus Sir, no one says it'll turn negative after an abdominopelvic ultrasound... Nah. But it's good to know. Also, if there are other underlying stuff in the pelvis say fibroid, they could be seen and the size noted so that incase it increases in size, there is already a known baseline for comparison. Another advantage of a first trimester ultrasound is that it makes for a better calculation of estimated gestational age and EDD.
Let us be guided, please... So we do not sound somewhat uninformed when we speak outside.

What I am saying is that when someone has gotten a positive from a blood pregnancy test, scan can never say otherwise. Having fibroids will not make one have a positive blood pregnancy test. Yes, confirmatory pregnancy test is with blood. Doing a scan is to check for other issues like I said earlier. Scan is to confirm if the pregnancy is viable. Not really to confirm if one is pregnant

My wife just tested positive to blood test and someone is saying dat a blood test is not sufficient to prove pregnancy. Except scan. How tru pls house?

Blood pregnancy test is confirmatory of positive pregnancy. Scan is just to check for other modalities

It is glaring this cycle is anuovulatory (no ovulation) looking at the progesterone level at day 21 of the cycle, which was below the normal range. The FSH value is beyond the right value, or not within, which could mean your ovaries are not producing the right eggs for ovulation to happen or stimulated well enough to produce egg. Your LH too isn't within range. I will advice you balance those hormones.

Crying ke? Hehehe. If your wife experiences cs eh, she may never agree to go through labour and vd again sef. I have had both a vd and cs and I am even thinking of opting for elective cs this time around sef. My dear, console her, mother alive and baby alive is all we pray for. Narrow pelvis can choke her baby to death if she attempts it and can even endanger her life due to prolonged labour. Work with your doctor is my advice

January mamas for supernatural delivery. How's everyone doing? Trust all MS/spitting has gone and we are enjoying our second trimester. Any noticeable bumps yet? Baby kicks/flutters? Anyone started shopping yet? anyone else gotten TT injection shots? Anyone been able to check baby's gender?


I got my TT booster shot at my last doctors visit....I'd almost forgotten how uncomfortable that injection was, the injection spot irritated and itched me for almost 3days afterwards. The gyne did a scan to check baby but refused to tell me the gender even though my LO had legs open. He said the gender is either male or female so he's not bothered ...Im not sure if it was the bum I was seeing or the genitals but I didn't see balls so hopefully God has answered my prayers but I'd confirm at my next scan at or before 20weeks.

It's always faster than going into labour and waiting till it progresses. Since, it is faster, it is also more painful because it hits you once and the baby comes down faster. Good afternoon Jan for supernatural delivery mamas. Hope you all are doing ok? We should be in our 15,14,13,12th weeks already...has morning sickness fully passed? Hope we have all registered for antenatal or at least doing so this week? I don’t remember when the TT injections are supposed to start so please if you are a ftm register not later than 12 weeks so you both can be fully monitored..I took all my 5TT shots in my first pregnancy but I’ve been told I’d be getting a booster shot in this pregnancy too, maybe because the last one is over 2yrs old.
I felt my baby kick for the first time last week and I got emotional ...it was fluttery like butterflies inside my tummy but it felt good. Can’t wait for the visible kicks to start so my son can see them too. I also can’t wait to do a gender scan (although I have a feeling it’s a girl cos I heard it’s girls that usually disrupt their mothers hormones this much), I’d find out later this week
I’ve begun to regain myself, no more nausea/headaches etc _{and my horniness is out of this world}

I am in my 12th week, I can't explain how I feel most times but it's not palatable at all. Always pouring spit non stop, nai tire me pass. TT injection starts from 4months that's from about 16th week. I don't know how I'll cope till January. God dey

it's heartburn. Some pregnant women experience it as the uterus keeps expanding. Gestid is ok for it

Good afternoon team January 2021 mamas.

my ms now na die. I can't even explain how I feel most of the time. I lack sleep, heavy insomnia. Yes, my bump is showing now at just 10weeks and it's scary. Had an ultrasound 2weeks ago and one of the sonographers said multiples, I almost fainted until they checked properly and the one said it's hematoma. I have been placed on bed rest till 18th week. Sometimes, I wonder if the first sonographer is correct cos of the bump. This is my third pregnancy anyway

the drug quinine is not to be used by a pregnant woman . It causes pregnancy termination. Pls let's be careful how we self medicate
