DevilsEqual:Senator Opeyemi is the Senate Majority leader and the President Tinubu's eyes/enforcer in the Senate. He won't be neutral and independent. We need somebody who will be independent to protect the interest of the public. |
Appointing Sen. Opeyemi Bamidele as Chairman of the Senate Ad Hoc Committee to Investigate the Alleged Economic Sabotage in the Nigerian Petroleum Industry means the probe has been rigged in favour of Government and NNPC. |
Ferebiekunake:The SUG President has her EXCO, Hall of Residence Reps, etc to work with. I was active part of SUG of my University and we did more effective Aluta without all these unnecessary aping of the ways of our corrupt politicians. |
Tinubu's Economic Plan - Remove subsidy - Impose tax - Distribute rice Tinubu needs to create a policy Think-tank to brainstorm and create policy and reform ideas because there is no direction at the moment and future looks bleak. Otherwise hunger and hardship situation are likely to worsen with dire consequences. |
Olodo, how many aides VC come get? |
Atiku is talking like an incoming President. ![]() |
Fast losing his Arewa support-base, Tinubu's camp is desperately mending fences. ![]() |
Vision101:Tinubu has absolutely no economic plan to save Nigeria. The current economic woes that look to get progressively worse have clearly shown it. Look, it is OK for you to hold your opinion that is certainly driven by extraneous factors but facts are sacred. |
The President and his advisers are a huge disappointment so far. I mean nothing to offer in response to economic challenges that were obvious even at the point he was campaigning. Zero vision. Zero roadmap. Just imposition of taxes and senseless distribution of rice. Future looks bleak. Sad, sad situation. |
Walahi! Tinubu is a huge huge disappointment. How could he have desired for several years to be the president of Nigeria and failed to understand Nigeria's problems as well as create his roadmap to solving them. How could he think that he could lead Nigeria without a clear roadmap. So sad that at the present, the two things he has on his plan are imposition of tax and distribution of rice to the States. Tinubu needs to create a policy Think-tank to brainstorm and create policy and reform ideas because there is no direction at the moment and future looks bleak. Otherwise hunger and hardship situation are likely to worsen unless with dire consequences. Addendum: One thing that has become clear is that as Lagos State Governor, Tinubu was surrounded by PEERS who could brainstorm to create practical solution to problems like Osinbajo, Banire, Aregbesola, Fashola, etc. But now Tinubu is surrounded by empty-brained WORSHIPPERS who see him as godfather. |

This government has no PLAN. It is groping in the dark. It has no direction. It is a hopeless situation. It is so sad. Going forward, enough of Presidential candidates not being exhaustively questioned by the media and on presidential debate platforms on their understanding of prevailing national problems and their proposed policy or reform ideas for solving them. If we don't learn from both Buhari and Tinubu experiences, then the future will be even more bleak |
Aliko Dangote is a shrewd capitalist and the biggest local investor who borrowed loads of money to set up massive refinery in Nigeria. The same refinery for which FG/NNPC loot millions of dollars annually in the name of TAM. The same refinery that some politicians set up in foreign countries. Now, for FG which is presiding over a collapsing economy to frustrate that same project that should help the economy is a capital offence. It is simply stupidity to spend forex going on foreign travels in search of FDIs when you are maltreating the richest African man in reaping from his investment. It sends very wrong signal to the rest of the world. The issue here is if this could happen to an giant investor from a key ethnic group, imagine what happens to a underdog investor from a small ethnic group. And so, giving money to one fat head to say trash on behalf of a rogue group against Dangote's legitimate complaint is satanic. |
lexy2014:To get her familiarized with her work environment and for the Speaker to show her off. ![]() |
Eniola Badmus' body weight reduction and bodybuilding have proven a masterstroke for her image and brand. It has enhanced her pretty looks and carriage. Obviously, this is the day she resumed duties and she needed to wait a bit to accompany Mr. Speaker on official movements around the NASS complex. |
May the gentle and entrepreneurial soul of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu rest in peace. Amen Time to stop electing octogenarians as President of Ohanaeze. Let them be advisers as members of Imeobi. Elect a dynamic person to reinvent Ohanaeze and make it relevant to the live of an average Igbo person. |

Unfortunately, from all indications the economy looks to get progressively worse and this means that people will certainly be driven by hunger and anger to demand change in living conditions. So nationwide protests are inevitable unless an ECONOMIC MIRACLE happens that guarantees farming activities, availability of food, drastic reduction in inflationary rate, etc. The only problem is that shops of innocent people might be looted. The protests will obviously start from North where households have large families to feed and banditry has cut food supply chain. Make no mistake about it. Yes, there is hunger down the South but the one up North is legendary shege dan banza. |
If you know how women rivalry works, you'd already know that this new legal suit came as a result of pressure from Madueke's current wife. But in fairness, if a woman sought for divorce and got it. She should stop parading herself with divorced husband's name. You can't eat your akara and still have it. |
It is simply satanically selfish that Fulani elites who are in government and in NASS, who are widely traveled and who know that the future of cattle production is RANCHING have mischievously refused to develop a roadmap to modernize this business for the benefit of their people. It is so SAD. |
Beautiful! God bless our mothers . What can we do without their constant prayers. |
We will wait for the full details before commenting. |

I consider it rather unprofessional for soldiers to barricade the plaza in the name of showing force and create bad PR for itself. Look, when I saw the initial video of the mob assault on military persons, I thought to myself that all the Army Authorities needed to do was to lie low on daily basis, identity and 'harvest' the culprits one by one because there is no way those culprits won't come back to work at the plaza with the same clothes they wore on the day of mob assault. |
Say what you like about Davido but you can't deny that he has deep and wide goodwill in high places. His team sure lacks vital PR skills and he himself has been careless about his image, attitude and utterances, which have led to scandals. But in spite of these shortcomings, he still appear important, influential and likeable beyond the field of music. And it has nothing to do with his background. There is SOMETHING he has. Yes, something about him. |

When you owe, the people you owe will pray for you to live long. - Portable 2004 By the way, the fact that Portable flew across a high gate in a bid to escape police arrest and was later arrested and put in a vehicles while fight and kicking means that he is truly street. No street person will knowingly and willingly submit himself to be arrested like a little lamb. You go down fighting and kicking. ![]() Well done Portable but try and pay up your debt. |
