Anyway, you should also be informed that elwak is a place that exist in both Kenya and Somalia, if you look at the Kenyan map you would notice a straight line drawn on a piece of paper
.... Elwak was one of those places cut across, the larger elwak is on the Somali side where elwak's main town is located and is the seat of the local district.... It's a specialized unit... It doesn't do street policing. As you may have read, they intercepted 2 vehicles with gangs armed with automatic rifles, pistols and explosives.... These gangs are often ex guerilla fighters who have paramilitary training in either Zambia or Tanzania by Soviets instructors.

They're one of the bests units in the world because they execute their tasks with exceptional excellence. They killed 8 guys on a high speed chase and managed to walk home without a lost. If that's not excellency then I have no time to waste on your posts.

The most common thing I know in most countries is that thugs/bank robbers esp the ones who execute the robberies are usually young and very agile and most likely not formally trained..... If they were then they wouldn't be called robbers or thugs, the political implications of only a specific type of thugs (ex guerilla trained from specific countries) conducting high profile heists would have been too big. Local law enforcement and politicians would have probably have a name for them, there would have been a whole propaganda campagn on the 'foreign trained' thugs who are stealing hard earned cash and causing mayhem to citizens..

Watch this guy's unique wheelchair prototype that auto-balances - I have looked online for all-terrain wheelchairs that can climb stairs, this guy use of tri-wheels that interchange is a unique take (Ok i saw one that uses tri-wheel but on the rear side, and its a completely different design)......... Even beyond helping people with disability, I can see plenty of military applications, especially on robots that handle explosives or hazardous chemical materials.... I likes it... Even the Mars Rover would turn its head grin

From this thread the only achievement i have noticed majority of Nigerians take pride in are other peoples money...... the expression that we have billionaires like Dangonte while they themselves cannot even be grouped in the middle class of their poor villages. Or showing us malls patronized by South African investors. Some would have gone as far as deleting their accounts all together !!!!! And stayed out of the internet for a week to recover from heart ache! Hahaha

No one have mentioned major areas like Maitama, Asokoro, wuse, Banana island,lekki, vitoria island etc. Even the investment going on currently in Lagos free trade zone alone is more than the most expensive project in kenya since independence. Over $20 billion dollars from just one of the investors and all will be completed by 2019. I havent mentioned Eko Atlantic, centenary city, etc. Kenyans are real defination of stupidity.

the LFTZ , China plans to build, 3 oil refineries,1 petro chemical plant, and the other factories all totaling that $20billion... Those are more than 10 projects... Its not a single project, the $13B railway in Kenya is one single project to build a rail infrastructure alone.... Saying LFTZ as a single project is also like saying our Lapsset project which will cost $30billion is one single project, when in reality there are like 15 projects all in one, there is the roads, pipeline,refinery,1200MW hydro dam, refinery and 3 resort hotel cities ... At the beginning of this year, the projects were $50 billion worth of investments (mind you, we are merely a $65Billion economy, and those are govt projects only), there is no telling how much more investmets will be announced in January... Once addittional megawatts are added to the grid, cause right now they have agreed that they is enough electricity comming to start electrifying the rail to a speed of 240kmph http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/18/africa/gallery/kenya-megaprojects/ So please think again, the whole country is a construction site overhere

Even after saying that, he still didint stop he made very demeaning and racists comments... First of all, these universities that he is mentioning are universities from the same countries that were colonising us, (so where is the pride in that?).

...... 2nd, Kenya had one of the most brutal struggle for independence in Africa, the Brits dropped more than 6million bombs using world war 2 bombers on people who were using homemade guns and spears to fight back, they rounded up men and totured them ... Mobile clinic in kendu bay.
Kendu bay is 35 min drive to homabay which has more than 15 hospitals

that is the way to go for our media and our politics in Kenya... Politics based on issues,performance... Name every single leader who has lost public money....(whish they could do this after every 6months, it will end all the bad politics in this country, the MPs eiuld be kept on there toes for fear of their faces apearing on the list of shame) I can bring you a 16page document from a govt independent internal audit office that has the list of all the monies misapropriated, stollen unaccounted for in kenyas financial year, it will tell you, what was stolen, where it was stolen, at what time and how it was stolen... The only thing left to slay this dragon is massive political will from all sides...

Now, can you tell me when was the last time your auditor named every single public servant or legislator(serving or retired) who has lost money under his oversite?

There is also free maternity for women, free treatment for communicable diseases like malaria,tuberculosis and other related disease, they do charge you a subsidised fee of 50sh-100sh for other small common illneses, these services were free but after all district hospitals were handed to County Governments, the counties started charging this 50sh yo get extra cash to run the hospitals.... But all referral hospitals under the national govt don't charge anything, unless its a major surgery , or cancer, but the fee the charge you is highly subsidised

In most of the countries in Africa, populations are running to the big cities...thats not a new phenomenon, if we can manage to sustain the population in the villages then its actually a good thing, it means that in future this towns can become cities of their own....there is a better chance of redistributing the wealth in the future instead of having one city contributing a significant portion of the countries wealth... So here is the catch, urban places are usually more developed in terms of infrastructure, so if more of your people live in urban places as you proudly state, how comes your literacy rates is just about 60% of the population when ours is more Tha 80% of the population? Does it mean a Kenyan village is better than a Nigerian town? Hohoho!, how comes more people die of disease per capita than in kenya?

And that's why this thread was made to counter that argument with pure statistics.... And this thread was started by a Nigerian, Kenyans just joined in after Nigerians started insulting Kenya when they had nothing to reply

Sorry to disappoint you but we would rather Nairobi never goes further than 5million in the future, we would rather have satelite cities close to Nairobi grow and also other cities far from Nairobi like Mobasa,Nakuru Kisumu equally share the urban population distribution
