stevman: I took my 05 Camry to my mechanic to service the gear and he service it as claim,. Added 2 litres of ATF dextron II to it and since I have been experiencing delay engagement from P to D but to R is sharp. I also don't know the probs until I searched and later met an oil seller who said I should use the recommended fluid type t iv. When I ordered him to drain the former fluid it pass 5 litres. Now am good. Just wanted someone to know. Thank god for you taking note on time. That remind me of a very nasty experience i had in 2005 with my beloved camry 2002 then.the car was a lovely v6 that can climb a hill even at 90 deg.in seconds .I was to travel from Kaduna to Lagos and i decided to just check the car when the mecho then told me i need to change the gear oil, that was how he he drained the transmission oil and replaced with botch transmission oil(those white plastic sold for 3k then). That was how i started this journey and to add salt to injury i left kd around 10am and anyone that knew kaduna abuja in those days will know it was a road to die for .I was cruising between 140km/h to 150km/h that by 1"30pm i was in Lokoja,it was then the unthinkable happened.i slowed down since i was inside Lokoja and the car just stopped in the middle of the road while the engine was running. That was how my beloved camry gear was destroyed and i had to sell the car ,so its always advisable to change transmission oil with the recommended one, that always ring on my head since i learnt the hard way |

mrcreator22: Well said, but that doesn't solve the problem we are facing. Hearing of the ritual killings even motivates some of these guys a lot more.
It's like cultism back in the day, they tried eradicating it, but young boys only saw more reasons to join. It cannot be stopped at this point, it can only be reduced.
And it starts from the home. When you hear 14 years old boys looking for who to teach them fraud, then you suppose it is finished.
The society is messed up at this point, only the home(family) can help at this point.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvAi_AM_ObCT6rtul7PLueQ I feel you and you actually hit the nail on the head but the question is where is the home? Its no longer there in most of our cities.some years ago ,Nigerians missed the point when every bad person then like the like of tom polo, asari, avengers, egbesu, opc, etc and so many other associations and individuals that tasted blood became instant celebrities.their children and grand children are now adult with no moral values and blood shed in their lineage ,so what type of society do we expect.we never see anything,Hope you saw the viral video of a mother dancing in a party and her son of less than five years drinking from a bottle of beer, even if the content is not beer, what type of adult will the boy grow to be.An entitled, selfish drunkard who view women as cheap and less human because his own mum is cheap with entitled mentality and an enjoyment freak.I pray for the youth of today.!! |

hashbag1: Nlanders, I have been married for 9 years now, amidst several incidences that gave me suspicions over my wife's infidelity. The one that happened of recent gave me nothing more than great suspicion over any other.
My daughter and son got infection, they were admitted into the hospital. On this faithful day, I was there with them and I left the hospital in the afternoon to get something for them to eat, I got back with the food and quickly rushed down to my office to tidy some work. I felt hungry and decided to drive out, on my way to the restaurant leads to the hospital, I was in traffic when I put a call through to my wife whom I asked how she was coping and how the kids were doing, while on call with her, I heard sounds of car horns so I asked if she was out, she said yes that she was going to get water across the stree, so i was like you shouldnt have stressed yourself since the house maid was with her, next thing she yelled at me saying why am I making ascertion as to who should go get the water or not, I was like but that isnt a big deal to ask, she was like well the house girl have been the one running errands all day, I responded saying instead of yelling at me, you would have just responded by saying the above.

As a responsible and concerned father, I decided to suspend dinner and branch at the hospital which took me 8 mins to get there because of traffic. On getting to the hospital, lo and behold, my wife was not there, just the kids and the house maid. I asked the house maid where madam was, she said she stepped out without saying where she was going. I immediately put a call through to her. "Babes where are you at, just got here now and you are not here". She immediately hung up on me, I called back, she didnt pick, called her again didn't pick, waited few mins and called, she picked and yelled "why are you looking for me" I was like but you claimed you went to go get water but its been up to 15mins and you are not here yet, next thing she said was I'm in a uber car, Wow uber car when you just said you went across the street to get water, how does being in uber car relate to that. I requested a video call, I hung up the normal call and called her on whatsapp call, she didn't pick, I called her back again on normal call and said you aren't picking, she responded saying am in uber car now, call me on video again, I did but she still didnt pick. So I decided not to bother since declaring her whereabout seems frutile. She called back on normal call saying she was on her way home to pick some her items to quickly do an advertising shoot to model to her customers in the hospital room, that she didnt want me to get mad at her reason why she didn't tell me before she left, I was like its not a big deal telling me that after which I have found out she never did go out there to buy water.
Husbands and fathers in the house, in this kind of situation, what could have been your thought? As for me, something was not just right, and the most damning part of all these is leaving the kids at the mercy of just the house maid, I feel if there is something she is hiding from me and leaving the kids like that is what the issue of trust has led us to, I am left in amazement and total disappointment. |

Chukwute: A young man identified as Emma Ereegarnoma has allegedly tried to pluck out his mother’s eyes for money rituals to buy Benz in Delta.
Focus Naija can report that the incident occurred around 8pm at the Okuokoko residence of the suspect on Tuesday, 14th September, 2021.
According to reports, the suspect invited his mother to his house for a surprise and she went unsuspectingly of his motive.
It was gathered that the petty trader met her son in a very joyous mood with loud music playing from his home theatre.
He reportedly welcomed her, locked the door and after a while started to strangle her. Her cries for help was submerged in the loud music blasting from the speakers.
However, she used her last strength to break free and fled outside where neighbors rescued her, apprehended the son and handed him over to the police.
A source, Joseph Adjari, privy to the incident wrote;
Mrs oke Ereeganoma who is from Odorubo in Ughelli North LGA but resides in Okuokoko and sells food stuffs at Okuokoko market beside the Okuokoko Police Station has survived a ritualist attack by her son.
She narrated the story that for some days now the son has been boasting that he must drive GLK this week, so on Tuesday at about 8pm the son invited her to his house at Caroline street okuokoko that she had surprise for her .
On getting there she saw the son in joyous mood with loud music, then after the son lock the door and was trying to strangle her to death by trying to pluck off her eyes, she started screaming for help but due to the loudness of the music there was no response, but strength came upon her and she ran outside for help and neighbors came for her rescue and the son was caught and h
