Nobody is approving any more loans for you. You SANs should wake up from your hallucinations. Jealousy is working hard in your blood. SA pockets are deeper than Nigeria's. Die if you want to. |

Henry120: SA got her independence in 1994. Nope, 1994 marks South Africa's first democratic election where enfranchisement was granted to all irrespective of colour. It marks freedom rather than independence which was long achieved in 1910. |

jln115: Yes and SA as current definition began in 1837, and got its independence in 1948. SA gained its independence from Britain in 31 May 1910. Apartheid started in 1948 through National party after it won national elections. |

We gained our independence in 1960, dropped the union jack, a flew our colour.
We've always had large notable empires in Nigeria, which pre-date the british.
Benin empire Kanem-bornu empire Sokoto caliphate etc etc So, when did you had your first democratic elections? |

Henry120: Do you even know how you paid for those Gripens you have no money to fly?
You had no money when you first ordered them, you still cannot afford them 15 years later.
You got upto 40% in unpaid loans, you think any bank would grant you a fresh loan to purchase a fresh number of boats you cannot afford?
If you believe you're getting new boats, you must still be stuck in lala land. Lies!! Lies!!! Lies!!! SA has money to operate griffins, the only problem is that the prioritization of budget vote is focused elsewhere. The defense review will remedy the situation. As far as the bank loans is concerned your claims are unfounded because the griffin jets and everything else were bought on cash. The only items which were bought through bank financing were the submarines reason being there were reservations with their serviceability. SA, thus did not want to gamble with the tax payers money since the bank also approved insurances for them. |

Maths that South African teachers can NEVER teach you, we know it in Nigeria The lower the combat radius the heavier the ordnance of a fighter. |

AugustineAgain: Please bring a South African professional accountant here to face me, I have been asking since 2 years ago, no Southie accountant dared to accept my challenge o !
We accountants know NOTHING about product quality, how many will we know in this world? Cars, food, machines, aircraft, guns, furniture, building materials, chemicals, medicine/pharmaceuticals....etc You must be insaane to think accountants will judge tenders for all kinds of product quality world wide.
It is the job of purchasing and supply professionals and the technical experts in each field of the products being purchased.
Ever seen where accountants judge quality of chemicals and engines in this world? Full time fool, you Southie guys start an argument, trap yourselves in a tight corner of big error, and struggle to lie your way out of it, becoming more and more foolish and embarrassed in the process, instead of backing out of a wrong opinion when you still have some honour left....fools

AugustineAgain: Feel sorry for your South African over-diluted education, I went to a local Nigerian school, yet I can use mach 2 and the combat radius to mathematically calculate the combat flight time and recce endurance time of a Gripen jet.
Your ANC republic does not deem it fit to educate you up to basic maths and science standards that can help you compete with other Africans.
Togolese are smarter than you Southies.
Gripen jet maximum travel time in the air is 20 minutes with heavy load, including time to travel to and fro the target location, so real time for combat operation above battlefield is about 3 minutes
$50 million dollar jet becomes poor value for money, news report says an Asian/European country was also bribed by Sweden's SAAB to buy the worthless over-priced Gripen jet.
Gripen needs bribery to sell most of the time, because it is a bad jet for the price.
Gripen jet proves that Quality IS NOT EQUAL to high price . In fact, we should be the ones pitying Nigerian education system. The general understanding pertaining to combat radius of fighters is that the lower the combat radius the better the fighter. Most powerful single engine empowered fighters have combat radius of less than 800 km because of their heavy ordnance. JF-17 has a very light ordnance hence it can fly longer than 2000km with only few armaments. F16 has even less than 500 km and is considered a better fighter than JF-17. You cannot even mention JF-17 and Griffin in one sentence because the griffin fighter is far more sophisticated than JF-17 because it can refuel on the sky without having to touch the ground. The JF-17 is totally not a good dog fighter since its inability to overcome radar will expose it to the griffin pilot long before the JF-17 pilot notice the presence of the Griffin jet. |

Nigeria's highly experienced Special Forces battle inside Balmo Forest this week
"The Nigerian Army has discovered a plan by the Boko Haram insurgents to attack 25 communities and villages spread across five states in the troubled North-East zone.
A credible security source, who confided in our correspondent on Thursday, said that the Boko Haram hit list was recovered by Special Forces during an operation at the Balmo Forest.
According to the source, the targeted communities are spread across five states of Adamawa, Borno, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe.
The source said, “There are 25 towns and communities mentioned in the Balmo Forest hit list of the sect recovered by the troops.

[/size] . Nigeria does not have so called experienced special forces. All Nigeria's special forces are still inexperienced and well in an infancy stage. Nigeria atmy has no any previous history of utilising special ops in its existence, thus, it will be an insult to the special forces brigades across the world to ever brand Nigerian special forces as highly experienced. |

Henry120: 2014 is almost done, for a supposed 2012 review. Why are you in such a hurry? Defence review is a reality which will happen and see SANDF as the most modern military in Africa. DEFENCE REVIEW BEFORE PARLIAMENT23-7-2014 Pretoria – Defence and Military Veterans Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula says she hopes Parliament will treat the finalisation of the Defence Review as a matter of “critical urgency”. The Defence Review Committee unveiled its comprehensive Defence Review Report earlier this year. The objective of the review is to create a balanced, flexible and modern force, which uses advanced technology in response to the changing nature of the defence function globally. The review was approved by Cabinet in March this year, and was thereafter sent to Parliament. Addressing the media ahead of her department’s Budget Vote in Parliament on Wednesday, Minister Mapisa-Nqakula said the country is engaged in a useful but “long overdue” public discourse about the mandate and scope, the design and resourcing of the Defence Force going into the future. “This discourse, based on the 2014 Defence Review, is finally now here in Parliament, and accordingly must constitute a significant part of this Budget Debate today. “While there are many current topical issues and ongoing programmes within the defence environment, our work in this financial year has to be subject to the implementation programme of the Defence Review, once finalised by Parliament,” she said. Minister Mapisa-Nqakula said the ministry has in the meantime created full-time capacity to develop a methodology for implementing the Defence Review after Parliament finalises it. Rebuilding the forceThe review essentially points to a decline in the capabilities of the Defence Force due to an insufficient budget allocated to defence. In accordance with the Defence Review, in the coming years, the Defence Force must heighten its reaction, protection, peacekeeping and combat capabilities. Likewise, maritime and cyber-defence security must be upgraded. Minister Mapisa-Nqakula said her department is looking at a Defence Development Programme spanning 20 years, divided into four Medium Term Strategic Framework (MTSF) periods of five years each. According to the minister, the first MTSF is the current period 2014/15 to 2018/10. The next five years strategic programme will be based on the aspects of the Defence Review for the first MTSF period. “The strategic intent of the ministry in the next five years will be built into the planning cycle of government and will be aligned to support the National Development Plan (NDP) , the New Growth Path and the Industrial Policy Action Plan,” Minister Mapisa-Nqakula said. “In addition, it is also going to be important that the implementation of the Defence Review takes into consideration the tasks and commitments for defence arising from the new National Security Strategy,” she said. The Defence Review also provides a coherent account of how the South African National Defence Force is able to contribute to South Africa’s overall socio-economic growth, if its policies are to be adequately financed, developed and implemented. – SAnews.gov.za http://www.sanews.gov.za/south-africa/defence-review-parliament |

AugustineAgain: Why not descend on the English speaking Southern Cameroon that want's to break away and form a new country?
I know NAF F-7 jet is a terror to all Cameroonians not to mention NAF's incoming JF-17 Thunder.
Your fear has just begun, French slave of Paris . JF-17 IS AN OVERRATED EASTERN FIGHTER WITH TOO MANY WEAKNESSES.The JF-17 lack stealth capability, a feature which will make it very expensive should it be integrated on its later variants, however, both China and Pakistan have already made it clear that there are no intentions to make JF-17 a stealth fighter. Any fighter without a stealth capability is more like a flying casket since you will be exposed to the enermy long before it is necessary. A stealth capability makes fighters to remain undetected for very long time until it is noticed by a nakedd eye flying in your vicinity and by then it will already be too late to launch countermeasures. Stealth fighters have the ability to beat radar radioactivity and the same time detect the enermy beforehand, a capability that makes it a vicious killer. JF-17 have a poor pay load to handle heavy ordnances and such capability makes it only good as a hit and run fighter. However, that capability is only possible to be used against rebels since a fully fledged force would detect it long before it launches attack through a radar and thus activate countermeasures beforehand. The JF-17 pilot would have been dead before he tries to do anything. JF-17 is a poor interceptor with a maximum speed of mach 1.6. How will it intercept fighters with a maximum speed of over mach 2 since most 4th gen fighter carry such speed? Surely, that is one feature that JF-17 does not have, it was only meant to meet the pockets of poor countries riddled with insurgency and not to counter fully fledged Airforce, because YOU WILL DIE. |

Nigeria fights real wars after real training at defence academy, and periodic exercises and shooting range competitions
SANDF is forever sleeping at home with wives and prostitutes that refresh their HIV viral load . . AugustineAgain: Roland SAM optical targeting system works perfectly at night with infra red capability.....
"The ROLAND 2 weapon system is intended for anti-aircraft defence of armoured and mechanized the units to counter aircraft flying to nearly Mach 1.5 and hovering helicopters. Deployed on a tracked vehicle derived from the tank AMX 30, it comprises a radar with a range of 16 km, a sighting tube with an infra-red locator that measures the difference between the missile in flight and the line of sight of the fire control radar, and a computer antenna for remote control. Two arm-beams for launching carry each one a missile in its launching tube, and two ammunition stores for munitions each contain one 4 shot mechanism forautomatic unloading of the arm-beam. The crew of the vehicle consists of three man. commands necessary to the correction by the real variations of the missile compared to the axis of aiming measured by the infra-red goniometer (optical mode) , or compared to the direction of the target the commands are transmitted to the missile by the transmitter of remote control."

T-84 tank source is actually an Ukranian newspaper and the story was confirmed by Ukranian lawyers who spread it all over the world and many sources now carry it.....
" Ukraine is going to send to Nigeria two advanced battle tanks "Oplot", made in the Ukrainian Malyshev Plant in Kharkiv. Oleh Titarenko, a lawyer and a member of Kyiv Shevchenko district local defense informed about this, Censor.NET reports.
He said that the tanks were supposed to fly to Nigeria yesterday, but due to problems with the plane "Ruslan" the flight was delayed. According to Titarenko this fact has caused a storm of indignation among the workers of the Antonov plant (at this time the tanks are at the plant's airport in Hostomel). The information on combat vehicles sending to Nigeria got leaked to the political circles that's why the tanks are still in Ukraine."
http://www.informe.com.ua/en/page/119843/ukraine-to-send-two-sophisticated-tanks-to-nigeria-photo
"Nigeria acquires two sophisticated T-84 Oplot MBT tanks.
The two T-84 Oblot Main Battle Tanks that Nigeria ordered from Ukraine has had its delivery delayed last week Thursday due to executive logistics problem. From every indications, the tanks will be in Nigeria in the next 48 hours.
The T-84 is developed out of the Soviet T-80 main battle tank. It was first built in 1994 and entered service in the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 1999. The T-84 is based on the diesel-engined T-80 version, the T-80UD.
It is one of the most sophisticated battle tanks in the world. Its high-performance opposed piston engine makes it one of the fastest MBTs in the world, with a power-to-weight ratio of about 26 horsepower per tonne (19 kW/t).
The T-84 Oplot is an advanced version incorporating an armoured ammunition compartment in a new turret bustle. The T-84's outstanding feature is the 26 hp/t power-to-weight ratio. It has inherited the nickname Flying Tank from the T-80. The tank is also designed to perform well in hot climates, and even includes an air-conditioned crew compartment (operating temperature range is claimed to be −40 °C to 55 °C).
Last week there were mild protests at the facility where the tanks were built by workers who questioned the reason behind selling this 'monster' to Nigeria when the Ukrainian Army needs it in its war with Russia backed rebels. But that is being addressed.
This Tank will be used in the final battle against Boko Haram as it will take the battle to their camps. Its sophistication lies in its ability to counter any land mine or anti tank weaponry."
