The idiot should go and ask Darren Bent. Even when Bent was in his prime, he was always coming from the bench.

elektra80:

You are on point. Toyota and Honda are not in the same league with Benz and BMW. You said for urself that a used Mercedez Benz or BMW with low mileage will buy 2 camrys with low mileage.. ACCEPTED. But what happens to those German cars at high mileage? Their values drop at a faster rate at high mileage than their Japanese counterparts. That is my point. You will get a better resale value from a 10 year old Lexus RX330 with 150k plus mileage than u would from a 10 year old BMW x5 with same mileage (And don't tell me they are not in the same class). Likewise u will get a better resale value from a 10 year old Toyota Highlander Limited with 150k plus than u would from a Mercedez Benz ML350 with similar mileage.

Let me tell u what u don't know, resale value differs from country to country.
In Europe, people don't rush Honda or Toyota as they rush it in 9ja. A seller in Europe would prefer to have Mercedes Benz and BMW for sale compare to Honda and Toyota....BMW sells fast here unlike 9ja, forget about the mileage. Even EOD, discussion continue are rare here.

ihimami:

I have looked at used car prices online and there is no way a 2003 Toyota Camry prices can be compared with 2003 E class or C class Mercedes. It is still cheaper to buy used 2003 Toyota Camry than to buy Audi A6 or Mercedes E class of the same year, and don't forget that even in US majority are not of the rich class, so it is expected that those car meant for average citizen such as Toyota and Honda brands will attract more patronage than the luxury brands.

@poster you're on point
Dude surely doesn't know anything about cars
Mercedes Benz, Audi, BMW, Porsche are for big boys in europe....only the old ppl use Toyota in Europe
Car Talk / Re: Why Do German And American Cars Have Low Resale Values? by fili24: 6:37pm On Sep 13, 2013
The poster is really confused, those camry you listed are American specs, meaning they were produced either in USA or Canada.
I live in Germany and most of Toyota camry's comes from Yankee and Canada, That is why they're expensive.
Toyota is not in the same league with Mercedes benz or Bmw. These are luxury cars and they're very expensive to maintain.
Used Mercedes Benz, BMW or Porsche with low mileage will surely buy 2 camry's, even more

He has since left anyway.

SO WHAT HAS HE ACHIEVED?
SERIOUSLY APART FROM A NOBEL PRIZE WHAT ELSE?

During the regime of General Sani Abacha (1993–98), Soyinka escaped from Nigeria via the "Nadeco Route" on a motorcycle. Living abroad, mainly in the United States, he was a professor first at Cornell University and then at Emory University in Atlanta, where in 1996 he was appointed Robert W. Woodruff Professor of the Arts. Abacha proclaimed a death sentence against him "in absentia". With civilian rule restored to Nigeria in 1999, Soyinka returned to his nation. He has also taught at the universities of Oxford, Harvard and Yale.

From 1975 to 1999, he was a Professor of Comparative Literature at the Obafemi Awolowo University, then called the University of Ife. With civilian rule restored in 1999, he was made professor emeritus.[1] Soyinka has been a Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In the fall of 2007 he was appointed Professor in Residence at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, US

ON THE WOOLWICH KILLING

For not convicted the murderers of STEVEN LAWERENCE in 1993 is a clear RACISM but they were not tagged TERRORIST because they were not Muslims. We live in a wicked world. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Stephen_Lawrence

I remember a guy who shot dead about 78 people in 2011 was not tagged a terrorist too in US. I am a Muslim and can't just imagine me slapping someone not to talk of killing (God forbid).

But truth be said, as you can see how the guy filmed in that killing acted, he killed and didn't even run. I see this as killing out of provocation because he even acted UN-Islamic but who knows this guy may have his Brothers killed by the British army back home.

I have a boss I worked under at Cyprus, he is a Palestinian and 7 of his Brothers were shot in the eyes by the US and British army. What do you think this man will do if he sighted any British army or if he has opportunity to visit UK or US at all? We need to tell the truth, no human being is superior to another! God knows the reason why he created me black and you white and He has reason for created me Muslims and you Christian.

UK and US government needs to stop inflicting bad policies on the Muslim countries and provide a level ground for justice for all. They should let the nationals govern their country the way they like.

We are all here talking about one person been killed here but Millions of people have been killed in Afghanistan, Palestine, Syria etc Women are being raped and killed by the soldiers there everyday, Children are getting killed, Women are denied access to water to mention few. Are these people not human being like a British or US citizen

I pray West come to their senses so we can have a save world!

The victim was a machine gun specialist too
he was deployed to Afghanistan last year

smoothcrim2014: A man believed to be Adebolajo speaks with a London accent in the video footage and is believed to be a British citizen of Nigerian descent.

Both he and the other suspect in the Woolwich murder are thought to have converted to a radical form of Islam.

They are not thought to have links to terror groups based in Nigeria, such as the jihadist organisation Boko Haram, however.

Adebolajo was reportedly known to Al Muhajiroun, the banned Islamist organisation, and went by the name of Mujahid.

you were denied the US visa mainly because
- U don't have a stable job in Nigeria, you work as a freelance, u wait on contracts.
- U would be stranded in USA with a budget of 1 million naira. with ur family included, that's impossible (ticket, hotel, calls, taxi, feeding, shopping).
- U don't have any ties in 9ja anymore, cos u were going wit ur family. (This is very important)
- Seems more like, you're running out of 9ja grin undecided
