i'm surprised that yet some people cant read meaning in all this saga surrounding GMB's old age, how can someone who aspires to be the president of a complex nation like Nigeria not prepare ahead of time? that shows a high level of incompetence and mental Deranged personality. Let say peradventure buhari was elected as the new president of nija and may be a natural disaster occurred and you ask him why didn't you prepare ahead of time, CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THE ANSWER? I think his response would be; GO TO THE MILITARY buhari is just another puppet in the hands of those who want to milk this country dry because even my grand mom at her age would Come up with a better answer

perfect response to the doctored video, pls read!

Kings Oluwanifemi pearce

let me guess... you know nothing about the north and their culture, i lived in the north for 7years with my dad who is a yoruba man (christian) but married a hausa woman my mum (last daughter of a sheik in maiduguri, now dead) before we relocated back to lagos where i have been living since then. there are a billion things wrong with this video (keep an open mind here):

i understand hausa (the original one that the now diluted one was coined from) quite well lets say 80% well.; in the video Buhari's voice is too distorted to understand exactly what he is saying but some words come out clear enough to be heard. he is charging the people to fight for they right, to make their vote count, to monitor the excersise that it is time to rewrite their lives... noting comes out about "killing and body" as written on the screen....

plus in the true handling of a spear as the poster is trying to imply its absurd because a northerner will never handle a spear like that, its just plain wrong: its either with the full palm or with the thumb, index finger and middle finger to the spear and the rest of the fingers supporting the spear underneath (this is to lunch the spear on in attack) obviously that is an ink pen again because spears are not shaped that way... a spear has a uniform body after the head (it uses a metal base, a slightly bigger base or a wet button to balance out the weight of the head. the "spear" in the hands of Buhari is not convincing at all... infact look up the picture of an ink pen online and a spear you'll see what i mean.

the fact remains this man has a lot of enemies among those in power and friends among the masses doesn't that tell you some thing. he has shown what he can do to corrupt people in government, you all are like toy soldiers they use in protecting their selfish interests. go and research on the economy of nigeria during his rule, corruption in nigeria during his rule and be fair with your self and generations of nigerians to come. GOD BLESS NIGERIA

ow! and that reminds me the pen is the symbol of CPC the party he was under... u can as well say the broom is a weapon lol how silly of u guy
Supposedly what you said is true why did his supporters went on killing spree after the announcement of the 2011 resolt

So is it GMB that planted the bomb? do you have brain?
every GMB supporter has terrorism running in their blood; Reason is that every time a good topic is raised and instead of them hitting point they will use abuses to create diversion, same way apc is using terrorism and abuses to blind fold Nigerians from the good governance GEJ has brought to us. we know that no one is perfect but we cant just play blind from the truth. voting GMB is like going back to my vomit.

i think d west prefers Nigeria in D hand of d north, take for instance during d Nigeria Biafra civil war, all d sophisticated weapon were giving to d Nigeria troops even when it was obvious by D INTERNATIONAL community dat war crimes and genocide are committed with d same weapon. I think america prefers Nig. leadership back in d hand of d north cos dey knw dat northers are easy to exploit and through dem dey can have better access to cripple nija economy.
Northern religious leaders are corrupt and dat is why us still believes in d concept of indirect rule in Nigeria,

I always pity people who think it is northern christian that gave GEJ 25% in some northern states in 2011. It was actually the efforts of PDP governors and PDP politicians from those states who are benefitting from GEJ's government. And this is the main reason why despite it's callosal failure at federal level, PDP is and will continue to be difficult beat any time soon.
your point is clear but u dnt have to ignore religious influence. an hausa man has never been more successful in his life in terms of business than now. you see dem building plazas importation and many more. empowerment dat dia own leaders ignored for long is now giving to dem. i have few of dem as friends and dey always confess dat dis government is favouring dem but when it comes to politics dey will tell u sai buhari, what does dat imply?
Politics / Re: How Nigerians Will Vote (Presidential) Come 2015. by finaly01: 8:19am On Nov 13, 2014
You are right but what about D 25% mandate from every state. the last election,
buhari thought DAT by winning all d northern state he will win D election, but
gej got his 25% mandate from NIGER, KATSINA, KADUNA, GOMBE, BORNO,
TARABA, OSUN AND KWARA. D reason for d mandate is to ensure a national
leader not a sectional leader. and i strongly believe dat apc is using BH dis
time to destabilize d northern Christians dat will give GEJ his mandate in D up
coming election. believe it or not, 90% Nigeria voters are based on religious line,
if u dubt me go to church and mosque and listen 2 what D religious leaders
preach.

US Presidents will always tell you Isreal is their best Middle-East friend, South Korea is their best among the Koreas and United Kingdom is their overall best ally. This is why UK will always support US in almost everything. In the case of Nigeria, I think our best African friend should be either South-Africa or Ghana. S/A are fond of killing and deporting Nigerians so they can't be our ally. Ghana on the otherhand are always fighting with Nigeria on Social media. So my question for all Nairalanders is to educate me on the country you feel is our best friend in Africa.
i think our best friend is Sudan... conquered our territory and still ruling Nigeria indirectly till date

Gbawe:

Thank you. I laugh when I see these desperate efforts at pathetic scaremongering obviously aimed at frightening the pivotal SW from voting Buhari. I will advise OP and his ilk to stop wasting their own time. The Yorubas, when election is free and fair, will not tolerate or indulge misrule. We only need to look at the decimation of the PDP in the SW in 2011, where even the daughter of former President OBJ could not win the ward outside her father's house, to know that the folks of the SW will always reject misrulers.

Jonathan is no longer the "boy with no shoes" or "fresh air". Nigerians have seen him in action over 5 years to know he is hideously corrupt, highly inept and a divisive misruler. He has no goodwill left in the SW because he has failed Nigeria monumentally and also encouraged his minions (Dokubo Asari et al) to wage an abusive ethnic war of attrition against the Yorubas. I can't speak for others but I know the Yorubas will not abide with GEJ to then give him 4 more years. OP and others should find better things to do with their time.
I agree with u but is buhari ur best choice? if buhari can nak fela 10 years just 4 criticizing his regime, what do u think is d fate of of u and i and opposition parties? just imaging calling buhari a brainless nunu sucking fulani idiot. D u think u and i can still enjoy dis freedom? in as much as gej is corrupt, we need a vissionary leader, a 21 democrat.
