The Anambra State Government has ordered principals of public secondary schools in the state to refund illegal levies collected from students or risk being sacked.

The Chairman of the State Post-Primary Schools Services Commission, Mrs Joy Ulasi, announced this in a joint management meeting with principals of schools held at the commission’s headquarters in Awka on Friday.

In a statement from the commission’s Public Relations Officer, Dr. Felix Uzor, the commission warned that henceforth, any principal whose act would constitute sabotage to Governor Willy Obiano’s recession relief package would be removed as a school principal.

The statement read, “She directed the principals of all secondary school in the state to refund to the students any levy collected without approval letter.

The PPSSC also banned principals from collecting machetes and hoes from students for three years.

Alapomeji Record manager 9ice, has disclosed his strategies to marry several wifes as a favour to women, and father 20 kids.



The ‘Gongo Aso’ crooner is not mincing words involving his prolonged dreams of having 20 kids and several wife.

The singer who was simply a visitor on Ebonylife TV’s Moment Girls Talk, proved quite strong support for polygamy while uncovering his own polygamous dreams. As though in defence of his stand, 9ice said that he’d be doing women a favour by marrying several wife. A lot more convincing is the actual fact that he desires 20 kids which female would be challenged to provide.

“If I stay married to just one woman, do you know how many women will end up without any husband,”he said

The Gongo Aso crooner adds,”I want 20 kids. I have just four now. I have 16 to go,”he said.

9ice who was simply recently wedded to Toni Payne, and has four kids from three different women, is well on the way to reaching his dream. His first kid, Zion, was born while he was wedded to his ex-wife,Toni Payne in 2008. Asides that, he had a set of twin girls with his ex-girlfriend,Victoria ‘Vicky” Godis.

He is currently dating Olasunkanmi Ajala and shares a daughter,Michelle Abolanle Akande, with her.

The Lagos House of Assembly has recommended death by hanging as charges for kidnapping in Lagos state. This was disclosed last night when the Assembly held a general public hearing over a bill for a law to give the prohibition of the action of kidnapping and other linked purposes.



The bill sponsored by the speaker of the Lagos state House of assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, explained that anybody, who kidnaps, abducts, details or catches or takes someone else at all with objective to demand ransom or do anything against his/her will commits an offence, and is likely on conviction to death sentence.

The death charges in the bill by the Assembly is a stiffer charges for the 21 years imprisonment at the moment provided in their state criminal code.

It isn’t only folks found guilty of kidnapping that might be penalised, those who participated along the way or attempted kidnapping wouldn’t normally go unpunished, as the bill provides that anybody, who knowingly or willfully allows or enables his premises, building or a accepted place owed or occupied to which he has control of, to be utilized for the purposes of keeping a person kidnapped is guilty of an offence under regulations and liable on conviction to a term of imprisonment of 14 years lacking any option of fine.

Also, a Key Magistrate in Lagos House, Mrs Seri Sholebo said that it was important to include conspiracy to kidnapping, disclosing that convicting offenders based on conspiracy since 2011 have been a herculean job.

In the mean time, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has said that to earn the warfare against terrorism in Nigeria would require collaborative work among the individuals and strong synergy among security organizations.

The Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose, has inaugurated the state’s Grazing Enforcement Marshals, caution that cattle found feeding after 6 p.m., would be seized.

He said the state government would collaborate with the authorities and other security operatives to battle defiant herdsmen.

He noted that the marshals wouldn’t normally bear arms and would, therefore, rely on bodies empowered to take action. The governor reiterated the necessity to stop innocent people being wiped out and farmers’ method of livelihood being recinded by equipped herdsmen, adding that the entire life of 1 citizen will probably be worth more than 10,000 cattle.

He said the statutory regulation is at the eye of cattle rearers, as their businesses would be streamlined.

“On August 29, this full year, the Anti-Grazing Expenses was handed down by the state government. On August 30 i authorized it into legislations. Some social people go so far as grazing in the night time, when farmers are no on the lands much longer. Any cattle found grazing following the right time stipulated by regulations would be confiscated. Such cattle would be sold or killed at that moment and shared out to people, within our Stomach Infrastructure programme,”

he said. Fayose also warned the marshals: “This isn’t an possibility to harass or intimidate innocent people. You are to enforce the statutory regulation, not break it.
Anybody found heading beyond his bounds would be handled accordingly.”

The chairman, Hunters Connection, Ikole MUNICIPALITY Area, Osasona Joseph Olukayode, commended Fayose for the effort.He said quick treatment by the governor in Oke Ako-Ekiti when equipped herdsmen attacked people directed a strong indication to lawbreakers to remain from the state.

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Monday, attended the swearing in ceremony of the newly elected 57 LG/LCDA Chairmen in Ogun State.

Speaking shortly after observing the brief ceremony conducted by the Chief Justice of Ogun State, Justice Olatokunbo Olopade, the governor urged the newly elected Chairmen to ensure that they work for peace and development of their respective LG/LCDA.

As announced by the Ogun State Independent National Electoral Commission (OGSIEC), APC won all the 57 chairmanship seats in the election into 20 local government areas.

The party also won 346 of the 349 councilor seats while the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) won two councilor seats and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) settled for one seat.
