Some Nigerian citizens are calling on the government following mass deportation embarked upon by Dubai authorities.

A lady who spoke in one of the videos said Nigerians are not being represented in the process. She also asked if there's a functional embassy or active ambassador in the country.

She went on to reveal that some of those who registered for the mass deportation exercise with a valid passport, were granted a pass by Dubai authorities and now waiting for airplanes that will convey them to arrive.

They also said those without a valid passports are waiting for a temporary pass from the embassy which seems not to be working.

I was introduced to Nairaland forum in 2014, I have noticed most Nairalanders and their mentality and character! Here are some types

1. THE MATURED ONES: They are mostly the oldest Nairalanders, they hardly comment on post and if they eventually comment, they comment maturely and reasonably! They don't insult too!!! I love them!

2. THE BITTERED ONES: These sets of Nairalanders are always bittered, angry and it is always obvious in their comments or posts! No fun, No joy! E.g the misogynist!

3. THE INSULTIVE ONES: Mehn, this sets can't make their comments devoid of insults, they always look for slight reason to insult you, infact even without reason they will still insult you! They are also known as the VAWULENCE CREW

4. THE TROLLS: These types are the most annoying!!! they always bullying, deliberately trying to offend you, cause trouble & attack you but all thanks to our mods that always rescue us, by banning them for 600yrs Some do repent after ban!

5. The poverty mentality crew: Damn, this crew always feels everyone on Nairaland is poor!

6. The ones that thinks everyone is JOBLESS for being on Nairaland. Lol!!!

7. The ones that thinks you are being paid, you decided to do small analysis, or post about something becos you feel like. . .Boom they start asking you how much you are being paid! Some even tag you the (30k stipend crew).

8. THE ATTENTION SEEKING ONES: I don't have much to say about this people than...THEY LOVE ATTENTION!!!

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bode George, has described the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, as a “bundle of lies.”

George said everything Tinubu attributed to himself was a “bundle of lies”.

He said Tinubu did nothing to alleviate the pains of residents of Lagos State despite serving as a governor for two terms.

Speaking with Channels Television last night, George said: “I absolutely have no qualms, no quarrel with Tinubu, but all I know is that everything he has said he was or his name is this or his school is that it’s a bundle of lies.

“I’m a bonafide Lagosian, we knew what Lagos was like, and Lagos remains the commercial nerve centre, not only in Nigeria but in the whole of West Africa. What has this fellow done to us?”

The PDP chieftain charged Tinubu to open up on the ownership of Alpa Beta company.

He said the APC presidential candidate should tell Nigerians how much the company has allegedly stolen from the Lagos State Government.

“I have asked a very simple question and none of them has been able to answer it: who owns the Alpha Beta company? How much has the Alpha Beta company stolen from the coffers of our treasury in Lagos state?

“What has he done to alleviate the pains of the people of the state?” he asked.

Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi has appealed to Yoruba leaders and politicians to seek each other’s forgiveness in the interest of Nigeria.

The popular monarch also beseeched Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 general election, to establish a rapport with all aggrieved Yoruba leaders and politicians for genuine reconciliation and compromise.

While noting that the appeal became necessary to have a united Yoruba house ahead of the 2023 general election, he maintained that forgiving themselves would bring a colourful outing in favour of a Southern presidential candidate.

In a statement made available by Alli Ibraheem, his Chief Press Secretary, Oba Akanbi charged them to write a new history for Yorubaland by promoting political unity and understanding among themselves ahead of the 2023 general election.

“I call on Yoruba leaders, stakeholders and politicians to write a new history of hope, brighter future and positive promises by forgiving each other. Without forgiveness, relationships will not give birth to promising children. I’m making this appeal with my crown to endure, entertain each other’s differences and cut the political curse on the Yorubas.

“The late sage, Obafemi Awolowo tried. Then the late business tycoon, Moshood Kasimawo Abiola made a trial and won democracy for us. The same mistake must not be repeated. This is not about political parties. It is natural to offend each other but divine to forgive.

“The chance of one of us becoming the President of Nigeria is bright and promising. He might have offended you just as you also might have offended someone. Let’s heal the wound of enemity to move on and faster. This is the last chance if we want our children to forgive us.”

While hinting that the move should cut across party lines and political party affiliation, the Oluwo insisted that Tinubu is a candidate that is experienced and virile to govern Nigeria on merit.
