“Surely everyone goes around like a mere phantom; in vain they rush about, heaping up wealth without knowing whose it will finally be”. Psalm 39:7 |
Political prostitution, only for power and nothing else but to rule till death. |
If your intention in government house is to work and not to steal and embezzle public fund … then I wish you best of luck in your ambition. |
Congratulation to APGA... hope the people really voted for them? Or it was advance rigging? |
I wish Mr Isa Muazu quick recovery. |
@ Chyzoo4u, Thank you for the write up. Can you also let us have details of the Window for remitting the pledge on this forum? Thank you in advance for your favorably feedback. Shalom! |
RIP |
All those elected political office holders has become incommunicado and immediately relocate once they enter office. The one for my area, we they wait for him to appear again before 2015 election and seek our vote with sweet word. Instant judgment awaits them. We change from PDP to APC in my Senatorial district and nothing to show for it. |
keep day dreaming. |
Let wait for the result... |
Time will tell. |

Yoruba: “Eniti afi oro lo to ni johun baajee… kini kii oloro ose ooo”? English: “He that was ask for advice and says his own life is in trouble what does he want the advisee to do”? Bishop Magic: You saw them with their brooms in Abuja and Ibadan protesting against INEC on the conduct of the first polls but what was more funny apart from the fact that the APC supporters did not see the need to sweep that dirty slum of a city in Ibadan but the fact that no rally was held in the state in question. |
What are they fighting for? Personal Gain or community gain? I believe the people can reason and choose what they want. chikena |
I will recommend you ask Lai Mohamed of APC... |
With all the explicit evidence at the disposal of Nigerians… it has become clearer that APC might be worse than PDP after all. AD, AC & ACN have been rigging Lagos State election since return to democracy and no noise. PDP as opposition in Lagos has been boycotting Local Government election in Lagos since when Tinubu decided to increase the LG from 20 to 57 until recently that they change their minds to participate. PDP as opposition in Lagos has never made useless criticism noise like Lai Mohamed of APC. This Aregbesola must be watch closely and APC should know that they cannot make themselves what God has not made them. Only God knows who become a leader. I am no fan of any political party but I abhor wicked propaganda. |

Before rushing to publish rubbish you are expected to verify and double check your stories. It became unprofessional and poor journalism to take back stories. Learn better next time. Ok? |
Congrat! |
I don hear you. |
Let see how the film will end with the defection of the G5. PDP G5- is now equal to APC i.e. PDP = APC If PDP is equal APC What is Progressive? If APC is equal Progressive Who are the defected PDP G5? Progressive? Let see the performance of the G5 in their respective state. Is better they retire and give way for the younger generation than been a political prostitute. Only time will tell. |
I will be back for reply to Tinubu statement here. I hate hypocrisy. |
I am really fascinated with the on-going ICT projects in Nigeria. See the New National Identity Card and Driver’s License; I love the quality. For me I see hope coming the ways of Nigerians very soon. “No matter what (Nigerians) you're going through, there's a light at the end of the tunnel and it may seem hard to get to it but (Nigerians) you can do it and just keep working towards it and you'll find the positive side of things. Demi Lovato What is your opinion? Constructive comments please…

All political parties in Nigeria are elections riggers but the highest and the best professional riggers carry the day. |
GBELEYI……THE MAN TINUBU WANTS IN ALAUSA Strong indications have emerged that the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos have acquisced to the request of Christians in the state for a Christian governor in 2015. The candidate of choice is Ayo Gbeleyi, the present Commissioner of Finance in the administration of quintessential Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola. The decision to present a Christian candidate emerged after due consultations with eminent Christian leaders and clerics who have promised to mobilise other faithfuls to vote enmasse for the party if a Christian emerges as gubernatorial candidate in the state. The leadership of the All Progressives Congress after a thorough search have found a willing and reliable Christian candidate in Ayo Gbeleyi, a thoroughbred professional known for his exceptional brilliance and intelligence. Since the searchlight has beamed on Gbeleyi, Christian leaders are delighted that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not only heeded to their demands but responded accordingly. They had argued that Moslems have successively governed the state since the inception of democracy. It is just fair and equitable to allow a Christian to govern Lagos, given the fact that succesive governors of the state since 1999 that democracy returned have been Moslems. Besides, they argued that the three Senatorial seats are occupied by Moslems. The call for a Christian governor, observers of politics in the state reasoned is not to ignite any religious crisis but to ensure balance and equity. Observers opined that the efforts of successive administrations in the state in the areas of governance, accountability and reliability are not and should not be exclusive of faith or religion. A thorougbred candidate like Gbeleyi, they posited, is equally suitable for the exalted post. With his pedigree and insights in public service, finance, procurement, constrtuction, project management, etc, he is, no doubt, a round peg in a round hole. It could be recalled that he singlehandedly planned and made a major breakthrough with his well-thoughout Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative in Lagos. While he served as the Director-General of the parastatal, he also doubled as the Senior Adviser to the Executive Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola on the project. Overtime, his visionary leadership amid pressure, necessity and even adversity on several projects in his purview yielded unprecedented positivity and growth that sooner than ever, Lagos becomes an envy spot in PPP. Commendable is his ability to work seamlessly with the Ministries Department Agencies (MDAs) to realise and institutionalise Lagos of our dream and the government strides to make the state a Megacity is achieved. The beauty and elegance we see in the services of the Bus Rapid Transit, (BRT), Lekki-Epe Toll Concession, the Independent Power Plant, Oluwole and Tejuoso Market Developments, Adeniran Ogunsanya Ultra Modern Shopping and Retail Commercial Centres are some of the lofty ideas he has shared and executed with the support of the purposeful leadership in the saddle of governance in the state. Asiwaju after wide consultations with all interest groups and political blocs in the state is optimistic that Gbeleyi with his background can effortlessly manage the internally generated revenue of over N18billion of the state aand continue in the stride of previous governnments to make Lagos an enviable commercial base. It takes a visionary leader to fish out a promising successor. Asiwaju Tinubu, from all ramifications have proven that he knows one when he sees one. His ability and confidence in his choice of BRF as his successor has proven his insightful leadership. He will not go wrong with Ayo Gbeleyi. According to reliable sources, Gbeleyi, in readiness for the task ahead, has not only received the nod of formidable stakeholders in politics, he has built a financial war chest in excess of N8billion to prosecute his electionering campaign. His readiness from all fronts, our sources hinted, gives Asiwaju a strong conviction that he is the man for the job and other contenders are pretenders. He has also built a formidable media team to actualise his dream. For Gbeleyi, it has been a calculated rise to the top. His recent appointment on the recommendation of his immediate past boss, the former Finance Commissioner, Hon. Tokunbo Abiru, the express approval by the Executive Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola and the state’s Assembly speakvolume of his character and disposition towards public service. With his record of service, wisdom and support from all stakeholders and the people of Lagos State, Hon. Ayo Gbeleyi is poised to steer the ship of the state to greater heights. http://www.globalnewsnig.com/ayo-gbeleyi-the-man-tinubu-wants-in-alausa-2/

Rest in Peace and let your deeds judge you after here! |
Corruption has eaten deep into our public office holders. They steal with impunity without any consideration for the masses. “Surely everyone goes around like a mere phantom; in vain they rush about, heaping up wealth without knowing whose it will finally be”. Psalm 39:7 |
Shokoloko: it had to take a video going viral and a visit from a women's group to get that man to say an 'apology' he has no remorse. Oshiomole has forgotten that he is mere mortal and oneday his wife must be a widow or he a widower. death must still catch up with them. all his supporters maybe you dont have widows in your family but they exist and society doesnt care much for them. if that Godless man cant retun her goods and beg her forgiveness maybe we in nairaland can identify her and see what we can do for her@ Shokoloko, sorry; Adams Oshiomole is already a widower his wife is dead. however to help the sentence widow see: https://www.nairaland.com/1535382/fundraiser-oshiomoles-widow-victim-widow/1#19868662 however also see: https://www.nairaland.com/1536440/pdp-rescues-go-die-widow |
Can you people imagine how this has now become a political score points? Adams Oshiomole goof. PDP Edo shines. All politicians in Nigeria are all the same wicked elements… PDP, APC, APGA, LP… Only time will tell who really are the saints. 2015 game plans. |
Dear Adams Oshiomole, To err is human, to forgive divine. Everyone makes mistakes, commit sins at some point in their life. It’s a human nature to make mistakes. But to forgive someone from those mistakes is indeed very hard. It doesn’t happen naturally like making a mistake. People are acting in a godlike (divine) way when they forgive. One almost has to be in a real holy place in their mind to forgive someone. However, I personally am yet to see any act of remorse and apologies from Adams video above. Adams Oshiomole… Nigerians and your well-wishers could be able to love you again and forgive you if we can see genuine repentance, remorse and unreserved apologies tender not only to the pained widow but to all persons who could come in contact with your action video now and years to come. We are still waiting if you would still retrace your steps and be humble enough to apologies properly. Shalom! |
You are entitle to your opinions. But as God live and His spirit liveth, all those who pledge here for 'This widow' will fulfill it and do more by His grace. Only a verified and accurate details needed. Shalom! bcomputer101: NOTE THIS: Most people are commenting here just to show off... |
I solicit the support of the MOD to kindly move this to FP. Let Nairaland voice be heard to save this widow already sentence to death by her governor. The Widow must not die. |
