VisaOfficer: 1. In general, once we've received the DNA results, applicants are contacted within a week. We do tend to receive several results at once, so it takes a while for us to put the results with the correct case, review the case to see what else is needed, and hand the case off to the person whose duty it is to contact the applicant. It's not a same-day event by any means. But it should be fairly quick.

2. Medical reports generally expire in six months (three if there are certain medical problems).

3. You'll be told what to bring for the next interview. Every case is different, so I can't give you a concrete answer based on what you've written here.

Lets take a practical approach, believing that you get married before the result was released? if so then
When you fill ds 230 and 122 with a new name as a result of status change (Attach a note and if possible marriage certificate)
also when sending it, you need to quote the information as they appear on winning notification i.e

Case No: 2014........
Full Name (as appeared in her notification, which is her maiden name and other names):
Date of Birth:

I believe its after receiving your forms that they will update your status change (marital name), but something must link them to the original information of the principal applicant.
