My curiosity drove me into investing in a so called "local business"....Amazingly i realised this local business offers between 3.5%-10% per capital per month.
The big question then was.....why do investors fails to support this business or entrepreneurs in this line but wouldn't mind investing in MMF and their likes inspite of their low interest and risk factors...??

I'm glad you added this to your list cos i'd mentioned it many times that inspite of the upsurge of online data...the patronage of recharge cards is still in high demands at the grass root level...

Indeed getting 4% daily profit on such capital with capital fixed daily.is almost unrealistic. However i must admit from experience that it is also possible with a conditions. strategic plan and smart work..
To make this possible....the following must be considered..
1.No rent must be paid out of the capital..
2.Daily expenses must not exceed 0.5-1%..
3.You will need customers that consume #500k of either recharge cards 5times daily with the right neteork mix ....and if POS....300 Customers that would withdraw a mac of #5k to earn #100
4.You must locate your market niche near the grassroot ....
5. Be ready to sell as wholesaler and do not sell on credit.
6. Be ready to supply....

This is just a side business hustle for me as i equally target a profit of 6% daily but with lots of hardwork.

I strongly believe that until the Local Governments become economic drivers of the Economy, we are just going round in circles

I suggested on a previous thread that the 774 local governments should be encouraged to own Farm settlements operated or either by lease to small scale farmers or private corporations
The states should provide logistics to evacuate the farm products,infrastructure and Security for this settlements
The Federal Government will create Silos in each Senatorial Districts and will be a buyer of last resort to this farmers

Imagine if each local government took up crops which can thrive in their locality and get the people back to work,it will be a matter of time before we create Wealth across the Land
This type of wealth is sustainable because it is from bottom to the top and not the other way round
The Local Governments will be encouraged to compete against themselves and the best Agricultural friendly LGA will be given awards and Cash grants
I believe that in every problems,there are workable solutions but it seems in Nigeria we have a way of turning simple problems into hard mountains of solutions that can never be resolved

Honestly, if not that God cannot be questioned, I would have... because the generation of leaders we now have since mid 70s have destroyed the very NATURAL GOLDMINE that we are freely blessed with to become one of the food sufficient and prosperous nation of the world.
I re-emphasize the bolded @farm settlement. Until this is done and our leaders and wealthy Nigerians honestly and sincerely invest in farm mechanization and stop this hypocrisy of promoting agriculture yet feared the risks associated with it thereby withholding investments.. Food insecurity will birth multiple insecurities.
I therefore call on patriotic professional and passionate farmers not political and online farmers to please let's form a progressive front for advocacy.
