Kingsley1000: Please what's anambra state government doing concerning that waste dump at owerri road opposite metrological/material institute in obosi.if you'v passed through that route recently, you'll notice that it's an eyesore, and an unpleasant sight to behold,it's even escalating to road side, those pungent stinking odour surging out from it isn't good for one's health...i learnt that people from asaba, parts of delta, imo in close proximity to onitsha use to dump their there..what's the government doing in evacuating these refuse(perhaps constructing a recycling system will help in utilizing these wastes especially the plastics, rubber and metals, transit into producing another package like what is obtainable in developed nations)...[[s]i]the prime problem of anambra people is dirtyness, cleanliness isnt in our culture [[/s]/i]at all,is very appalling..Do we have commisioner of environment?if we do,he should be proactive by inculcating the spirit of cleanliness and enlighten people on how imperative it's to our health. |

VirginFinder: Amaechi is ibo! A core south southerner will get the job!! I believe that the clamour for offices is simply a power game by the elite, which has only a symbolic or emotional significance to the masses. Yes, for some reasons, people like to see someone that shares their interests or attributes in government—it has a feel good factor. But if occupation of such office has any personal benefits, it is largely to the occupant of the office and his friends and family. Our recent history has shown that it hardly matters where the occupant of a particular position comes from. I am not sure how the welfare of Ota/Ogun people changed because Obasanjo was president of Nigeria, or how the man in the street of Katsina or Otuoke/Bayelsa prospered more than others simply because their son became president-Soludo |

Abagworo: Kano is an ancient city but yet looks more like a city to me than everything we have in Southeast and South-south except Port Harcourt. Take a look at the few tall buildings and their quality. You lack common sense, very stupiid for my liken, ediot you call our efforts and style of buildings Igbotic, Igbos rebuilt their cities after civil war and even our enemies are still shocked for what we have achieved, instead to appreciate our achievements you are rubbishing them, your contributions always off point, I have noticed your hatred towards Anambra people, your frustrations and hatred ends in your keyboard and online, I will advice you to come down to head-bridge Onitsha, look round the city drive round Anambra state, read more about them, you will know that the state is too BIG for chi-cken like you and your likes to hoodwink. Monkeey what will you call this skyline from Czech republic? Probably Czechtic

Politics › CAN Solicits Food For Osun Workers by FKO81(op): 5:41pm On Jun 09, 2015 |
The Christian Association of Nigeria has appealed to church leaders in Osun State to rally food aid and money to assist Osun State civil servants who are going through hardship because of delay in payment of the salaries for the past seven months. The Chairman of CAN in Osun State, Rev. Elisha Ogundiya, said this in an interview with journalists in Osogbo on Tuesday after the meeting of the executive committee of CAN in the state. Ogundiya said that the church should go beyond feeding their congregations with spiritual food especially at this time, but should also rally round to offer them succour. He said, ” I talked about Christians and Muslims and others who are passing through hardship in Osun State because of the nonpayment of their salaries for months. “Workers are passing through hardship and some who have retired have died because of lack of money to take care of themselves. We Christians have to emulate the action of the good Samaritan in the Bible who assisted somebody he should not assist ordinarily. So, we should assist our brothers and sisters “I urged church leaders and local government chairmen in attendance to go back home contribute food and other items to assist all these people who are in need. “To the governments we are appealing to the government to look for whatever means will make life beautiful for these people. We know that the problem is not peculiar to Osun State alone but this is lingering too much. The state government should do something urgently to put smiles on the faces of the workers.” He implored members of the association to be united in order to further propagate the gospel. The Chairman of CAN in Osogbo Local Government Area, Rev. Adesola Olubadejo, thanked the leadership of the association for taking the step in the right direction. Olubadejo said he believed that the situation was not beyond what God could rescue while urging members to commit the state to God’s hands in prayers. http://www.punchng.com/news/can-solicits-food-for-osun-workers/ |

Stolen: These are primary area of concentration. But we should try to work as one unit. I mean all the state leaders need o sit down and have meetings together every week or at least once in two weeks or a month.
THrow the state idea in the bin as we have only one igbo tribe and east. Industrialisation Ebonyi and Abia, Trade and Commerce Anambra, Agriculture and Tourism Imo, Enugu Information and Services.
The Areas of concentration is on point. Let us build together. Take the development to every locality, whilst carving out world class cities. Together and it start with build world class universities together in every state. It is a knowledge based economy Supported, I'll also suggest we also consult our best brains people like Soludo, Ngozi, Oby, Pat Utomi etc |

Lets be serious and demand for world class structures and at least an airport that can connect the East to the world for goodness sake. 16 years of promise and nothing Same UK that colonized Nigeria, at least we are heading somewhere, how old is London and who told you East is not connected to outside world? And mind you some states in Nigeria are still looking the same way our Colonial masters left them |
