Politics › Re: Tinubu Considering ‘Temporary Subsidy’ On Petrol by Flame333: 9:04pm On Aug 15, 2023 |
WhisperedNoise: Tinubu is clueless. He is not a leader. Imagine removal of subsidy without precautionary measures, now he wants to reintroduce the subsidy he swore never to reintroduce. What he wants to do now is paracetamol after headache, because inflation has gone up with the original price hike, so even if PMS is resubsidized, it won't guarantee lower costs of goods and services.
He has bastardized the dollar rate too. Unemployment has shot up astronomically. Inflation is more than 50% for many goods.
Despite this man's flaws and shortcomings, his foot soldiers will still come online and praise him as the best thing after sliced bread. Over 2k daily wage. Very sad. The same man who said "na statistics we go chop?"
They'll soon troop out to defend their ruler, lord and personal saviour: IconicR, TemplarLandry, Moh247, Helineus etc etc. Your clueless leader has spoken. Oya defend nonsense again. Niger coup playing part.. Baba dey fear |

You don't throw in your last card first in international politics..
When they asked him to come for debate, he ran and delegated question because he is not well equipped to lead.. Same way Buhari dodged and destroy the economy.. Nigeria is a big project...
It is very clear he wasn't the only one that got panicked by the coup at our backyard but the men surrounding him who see his emergence as an opportunity to rule without disturbance..

No fly zone in war time does not stop enemy fly-in, but stops commercial flights. Let's deploy a thousand drones in 5 minutes and exhaust their batteries and then get our jets to drop bombs on their tanks and inventories.

Tinubu started on a wrong foot because either he was wrongly advised or he has intentions to misrule against democratic principles and doesn't want the contagious effect on Nigeria military against him..
Left for me, I expected him to have first of all hear the juntas side and appeal to them to do all they can to return back to democracy. And when their response is not satisfactory base on Ecowas principles, you can then act.. I watched Burkina Faso already planned next year to conduct elections.. Giving a sovereign nation seven days and the pace of applying sanctions were too fast for a neighboring country like this..
Nothing would happen to Niger Republic because Tinubu will need the approval of United Nations Security Council to approve the invasion and I know china and Russia will veto such moves..
So sad Tinubu played the aggressor |
