I need help!!!!! My 11weeks old baby has been having cattarh for 4days now. I started steam inhalation immediately it started morning and evening, rub mentholatum on his chest, back and feet morning and evening, give otrivin and vitamin c morning and night in addition to long sleeve wears and cardigan, yet no visible improvement. I don't know what else to do though considering starting antibiotics. No fever or irritability. He feeds and sleeps well just that the grunting sounds starts when he is about to wake up and thick light brown mucus comes out when he sneezes hard. What else can I do?

Maybe you should see a pediatrician not a general doctor. He/she will know what to do.
Which antibiotics do you want to start? I'm really not a fan of antibiotics

Hi all,
I refuse to accept or say that I am almost getting frustrated. Baby now sucks but the BM doesn't flow enough. I have turned to pap and milk therapy, but there is very little improvement.

Baby has been stooling watery stool for days now. Every diaper change is soiled with stool . He stools more than 3 times a day. Some ppl said its the formula- sma gold that he is taking. That we shld change formula, but he drinks the formula well. He appears not to be gaining weight. Do u guys give baby water after formula ? I do. I don't know if it is causing the watery stool. He is also on abidec, vit c and cod liver oil . his appetite improved after the multivitamins introduction . he feeds every 3 hours . I intend to stop giving him cod liver oil then change the formula to see if there will be improvement in the stool consistency and frequency

Don't listen to what people say unless you'll end up frustrated. If the poop is Egusi-like and yellow yellow then don't bother.
I gave abidec but stopped when appetite improved.

You can buy lactation cookies from rofemiguwa or I've forgotten her moniker or from themilkbooster. Lactation cookies, fenugreek, flaxseed, oatmeal and sesame seeds worked for me, I take them when I remember. Lots of water and most importantly rest of mind.

But it is used for abacha esp real native Enugu abacha.
You mix it with potash and small water to form the paste for mixing the abach.

Ncha is crayfish/pepper/okpei pounded in a mortar, add red oil and already dissolved potash then turn with the pestle.

Sorry dear, ask your doctor for calcium tab. You can also take food/fruits rich in calcium, milk too

In my place the bombom is always reserved for the father of the house. I remember the day I stole it and was almost killed I then made it a prayer point that my husband will hate it. And guess what my husband despises it. This God is wonderful

Lolzzz, hubby also hate it but the troublesome me will still dish it for him I'm just obeying tradition.
Gizzard is also reserved for the father or man of the house too but I always eat it even before I pour the chicken inside the soup/stew. What I do is to buy a kilo of gizzard and life chicken so there will be enough gizzard for him cos he loves it.

This is to inform everyone, most especially on the newborn thread that Comtem2011 is fine and ive spoken to her this morning saturday, 21st August, 2018.

She's presently in Ekiti to deliver.

Sometimes back, her phones were stolen from her home and that's why she can't connect to the internet at the moment.
