Give him some time, don't talk about it for now, pretend like nothing happened and try putting up a new leaf. Reason is he won't listen to you now and it will be disrespectful involving a third party...so give him space on that regard for now...I believe he hasn't told anyone about it.
Give it like a month at most, then set him up with what he likes.... don't make it obvious just surprise him alongside the kids. This way you're trying to build back your communication as husband and wife.... once you are able to bridge the gap in communication, you will be able to know the best time to talk about this incidence... when talking be on the receiving end, let him know you're wrong hitting him...if the talk goes smoothly he will listen to what ever suggestion you have concerning how he abuses you verbally and both of you will reconcile your differences....

Too painful....so much blood has been shed already this first week of December..... I have never heard where bank robbers stole 2billion Worth's of cash even if they had to rob 5banks at a go but when they're caught, they're subjected to face the law which is the right thing to do and the right punishment melted out because they are threat to lives and properties ... what about our polithiefcians?....a man that loots an entire ministry, office etc is such man not a threat to lives and properties?.... Since APC forgives sin once you become a member...why is such previledge made available to polithiefcians only,..... Yahoo boys needs such previledges, arm robbers needs it as well...
You cannot say you're fighting corruption but right in front of you money exchanges hands and you look the other way.
Let everyone be treated equally when it comes to the law, if not I don't see any need why a polithiefcian will steal money instead of keeping him in the same prison where convicted arm robbers are kept, they are kept in a mansion with security men to watch them while they live their normal day life.... until this is addressed,our polithiefcians will continue stealing, just imagine one senator that was sent to house arrest (prison) was also receiving his monthly pay...
