Arrewa: I'm not a fan of Buratai or a fan of Buhari!!
But I must commend this government in the fight against Bokoharam in the north East.
Before 2015 Bokoharam were strong and well connected that no northern state is safe.
Kano was not safe... Bomb here and there!!
Kaduna, Gombe, bauchi, Sokoto, Kebbi,Adamawa, And Yobe were not safe...bomb was killing people here and there!!
They take over local governments and take full control... Displacing and bombing people in large number... There's no week we don't hear of Bokoharam attack in the north.
Even Borno the headquarter of Bokoharam is almost free if not the some villages who are soft targets
Today Bokoharam only have the capacity to attack Borno villages that are close the forest.
We northerners know that things are now better compare how it was before.
The only problem I have the with this government is their poor stragies in the fight against bandit in kastina, Zamfara and southern kaduna.
We only want BUHARI's government to do more! Don't you think the boko Haram has transformed to power bike riding bandits in zamfara, katsina and kaduna, that we keep reading about as they butcher Nigerians on daily basis Wake up. Parade don change gear. |

Emmanuelcann: Honestly, if you can achieve this, it would be utopia. I will migrate to Naze, Owerri where I did my youth service with my wife (who's delta Igbo). Who knows? Lmao I couldn't stop laughing honestly. Well I'm not even for this IPOB style of secession. Left for me they'd never succeed. If another Biafra will come, it won't be under this particular IPOB where insulting the global power who are the sole persons in charge for pressing for a plebiscite, is the order of the day. Definitely the wrong approach to go about it. I hope they make an overture, or this Biafra won't come under them. Regards, brother. |

Logycs: you have just described Biafra and ipob and namadi kownu. Good for yourself. in the end, neither your opinion nor IPOB's will decide where Anioma would belong. It would be left in their hands and whatever their decision will be, must be guarded and enforced by UN. There is nothing you nor IPOB can do. When the time nears, they'll be like a beautiful bride being courted. Edo will make overtures to promise heaven on earth, so will IPOB promise legitimate freedom devoid of constitutional oppression. Like I said. In the end, it is not our( you nor my) decision to make. Thank you. |

Emmanuelcann: Sorry brother, I'm Etsako (Afemai) and I know my roots. My ancestors left Benin for our present homeland. We are 100% Edo. In this modern day it's very easy to determine origins with genetics, it's not something to be established by rhetorics on the web but scientific proof. When you do get Biafra (which I hope for your sakes you do), your problems will not be about Edos but whether the Catholics or Anglicans or traditionalists will hold sway. You will also have to tackle the bias between Wawa, Ijekebe, Nsukka, Imo, Ebonyi, Ngwas etc, not to mention, can an OSU be President? I'm not mocking, the point is that the problem is not about self governing units as in the people that govern them. My problem is with crooked and corrupt politicians from every clime. As long as they exist, don't think you can create utopia however industrious you can be! There will be no bias against Osus. It's a free world. Everybody who was a politician in would-be defunct Nigeria no matter how non-influential, nor influential your post was, will never be allowed to hold any position in the new republic. Conviction on corruption would be a capital crime and the convicted would be executed by firing squad under full public glare. Appointment to a state version of EFCC AND INEC would not be in the hands of the ruling party not to mention the ruling President as it currently is in would-be defunct Nigeria, which promotes electoral bias and investigational witch-hunt. So many reforms would take place to make the new nation be on fast pedestal of development. |

davidnazee: [s]The WESTERN IGBOS are allowed to beat with their kit and kins in the East.. That is called freedom of association.. Just like Igbos in other parts of Nigeria or abroad are allowed to beat with their Kins in Biafra (east igbo) but however the geographical area/lands they (western Igbos) occupy is not and will never be part of Biafra. It is Edo territories and will remain so. so they are free to interact with their kins in the east or even go join them but must understand that that territory (delta north) is not Igbo land and will not be part of Biafra.[/s] so says a nonentity who doesn't matter in the scheme of things. |
Culture › Re: Edo People What Do You Think Of Biafra And Their Ambition? by flyingpig: 12:19pm On Jul 21, 2020 |
davidnazee: When you make an analysis consider these 2 things.. The people and the Land. If the people choose to be biafrans they are free to migrate to Biafra (east) land.. But the Land they currently occupy goes nowhere, will never be part of biafra, it belongs to Edo.. the indigenous people of that land have traditional, customary and legal claims to that land. If they choose to go with igbo because they share same language and culture with them, you can't take away their land from them. The head goes with the body. UN adopts this. Moreover they are not temporary holders of those lands. |

This is akin to making your girlfriend your next of kin. Well his decision. Explain to him the importance of why you need that money, may be he needs real convincing of the utmost importance of that venture. In the end, my father will always advise us and say, nke gi bu nke gi, nke anyi bu nke anyi. Meaning "what is yours is yours, what is ours is ours". In otherwords, your fiance money is his, and the money you guys make jointly, is you guys own. Stop having entitled mentality for what you didn't labour with him ( if he refuses to give ). Stop having entitled mentality for what is not yours or what you didn't labour with him for. I'm sure he had plans for the money when he was labouring for it. |

AdesewaAde: My fiancé and I have been dating for over two years now, when it comes to financial aspects he is transparent,he do carry me along, whenever he is expecting any money he do tell me about it and we will both plan on what he wants to use the money for but the truth is he won’t include me in his budget though he do foot my petty bills (hairmaking and pedicure)at first I don’t see big deal in it cause I’m also working and he has never for once asked how I do spend my salary ,recently I was cleaning the house and I saw his documents,I decided to check everything ,to my greatest surprise he used my name as his next of kin. To cut my long story short,he called me last week that he got some money and we should plan on it as usual, that was when I told him to help me with some money to add with my savings to set up a business,he stylishly turned the request down ,I repeated again after a week and he did the same thing. What I don’t understand now is that am I not worth investing on or he is using that to test me? Please help a sister. That man is very foolish for using you as next of kin when he hasn't wedded you. |

ModestGal: I [s]thought you said you were a medical student, well, you being crazy doesn't mean you have psychosis, and I'm not trying to insult you. I only told you what I diagnosed your problem to be, it's a mental problem. By the way, you are too young for me to converse with if you are still an undergraduate. Have a great day[/s] Listen here b1tch, that is not the way to go about mental evaluation. You certainly are not even a psychiatric nor a neurological surgeon. So I won't buy your unprofessional evaluation. Secondly, I am a medical student, and just an induction away. Thirdly, your communication skills are unbelievably poor if calling someone crazy are your standard means of communication. You had better work on that. I shudder to think everyone but yourself is not crazy just because they grudge a different opinion from you. Fourthly Cvnt, there are girls who've got natural hips. They may use what you just called belt to burn triglyceride or fat cells in their stomach in order to make the hip more pronounced. A hippy girl simply has more ossicles or hip bones aligned in the right places along her pelvis. So don't attempt to misinform me on what I'm well knowledgeable about. Fifthly, nobody asked about the morphology of females in your family, I don't care. Even if I were single I don't do bullish, lousy and mannerless wh¤res. I love peace in my family. Sixthly (if there's anything that goes by that). Take your mentality of judging people by their societal status, and go ahead to stick it up your old labia where sun rays don't penetrate. If you've had any sense of maturity in you, you'd know some undergraduates are more sensible than those who look down on them. Thanks for your goodbye and I hope you don't reply after you had expressed farewell. Take absolute care. Regards, flyingpig. |

ModestGal: Those shapes are only common among celebrities, an average Nigerian doesn't look like that. I think you are crazy, you are fantasizing dating a celebrity, for anyone to look like that, the individual needs to tone, or use some belt. I come from a family of hippy people, and why I understand that its uncommon to be hippy that way. What you need is simple, break up with her, you have found her to be too cheap that is why you are feeling that way. Once you did, you would value her and afterwards, you would regret you left her but you will eventually heal up and be fine. But it would always be a regret in your life I stopped reading at this point. I don't converse with people who can't make their point sound decent and devoid of insultive words.
