you don't get him Netflix took over the market from DStv showmax in online streaming service,did you know DStv complained when Netflix first arrived stating that it wasn't a fair competition it means they make a lot from it also.

There's something I'll like to point out there,none of those who took over is a giant in there country of origin orange is different they'll most likely take over the dying etisalat or partner with glo,the point is that if they offer great plans especially being the first to offer true unlimited plans I for one will buy their sim and people will buy.

the reason etisalat failed is because their data plan was of no difference to what was already available, infact it was more expensive so why will people port.
Although etisalat had a pay per time plan through their app then and I enjoyed it because it wasn't capped but it was short lived.If they had advertised that they would have gotten an increase in customers.

a third party app like disk digger have complete access to files you deleted from your phone. That's access to the hidden portion of the storage unit of your phone. That's not even possible in iPhone 5s

Firstly the reason you think it's not possible is because apple doesn't allow some apps to their store or installation of apps outside their official store.
If apple was was as free as Android there would have been lots of apps like that available.i know it's means apple is more secured there but hey it doesn't make it impossible,people have their way of doing it.
Secondly I downloaded this so called app,the first thing I realized was that I gave it the permission to go through my storage,also after the scanning all I saw was the images on my phone and images from the apps installed on my phone(for example the images used to illustrate informations in the app or images of ads in the app)
My theory to this is that it's either you made up the story of using the a70 and you use a device with an old Android version,maybe a device with serious privacy breaches or you rooted your device.
I know there could be access to your files on Android but no app has access to your phone system except it's a virus or you rooted your device.

as for the data leak part I could only laugh at you for comparing android security to that of iPhone.
Go to playstore and download disk digger you will see everything single pictures you deleted from your phone without granting it root access. A third party app can easily scan deeply through your phone private memory. Mention one app you can download from appstore that will pack out your secrets.
The other day I was looking for a file I downloaded so I opened ordinary ES file Xplorer so I saw some files (.dat), they were very many so I decided to check I opened the files and read the coding I discovered that this Crappy MIUI have kept record of every single thing I ever did on the phone since the day I bought it. Every app I downloaded open, the date and time, the duration every single thing was there carelessly saved on a Crappy folder which anyone who has access to my phone can easily copy and he will have full access to every single thing I have ever done on my phone. Look, android is a joke

That's why most people who need maximum security on Android use Samsung flagships secured by Knox,even Jeff bezos iphone was hacked which led to his divorce costing him 38 billion dollars which he paid to his wife.

Yes, they have not been very innovative for sometime now. I think it's mainly due to that they have their customers locked down. No matter what they bring out, people will still queue to buy. They have their own os, if u like iOS u have no choice but buy the iPhone. So they can decide to release the same phone for 2-3 generations with just minor changes. The iphone x design is in its 3rd and most probably last generation now. And to be frank I don't think changing the design of phones every year is very good for business of even for customers. If I bought an iPhone xs for $1,000, then a year later apple realeases a completely different iPhone 11, I would feel jealous, but if the design is not too different I can still hold on to my old phone for another year. Good for customers, good for business as they can still use old parts for the new phone.

Samsung have also followed this trend. In the past Samsung are known to release new designs every year, but for sometime now they have followed apple steps, release phones for generations. The s8 design was carried on till the S10 (3 generations). It makes someone who owns the s9 to skip the S10 and buy the s20. In fact if not for the competition Android devices are giving, apple are ready to delay new features of phones for as long as they can, not because they can't do it but it's a business strategy.

actually the s9's design is different from that of the s10 the s8 design was only for 2 generations.

Who told you 5g isn't useful,how do you think they test the network daily performance if not through this devices you are calling pointless.

I totally agree but I'm thinking bezeless phones with zero signs of the black bars,then probably they'll start competing for slimmer phones then finally maybe transparent phones looking like glass like we see in some movies will come to reality.

I use iphone 7+ with just 3gb ram with 12mp dual camera and i can tell you handly do i find any lag while multitasking and the photos you get from the so called 64mp cameras are no where near the quality from 7+ 12mp camera.. So why the deceit with those values?

Even my neighbour that uses iphone 6s with just 2gb of ram and single 12mp cam takes quality pictures and handles most tasks he wants, even plays pubg on Hd graphics and high frame rate, yet hardly will you see an android device of 3gb/4gb ram without lag while multitasking or able to play main pubg mobile not to talk of playing on high frame rate.

You see an android device of 4gb ram reading 3.5gb/4gb just with using youtube, facebook, whatsapp and messenger app alone.

When apple produces a mobile phone, they don’t lay sooo much emphasis on the ram or megapixels like other mobile companies do, cos users know that no matter how small the ram or pixels are, they still get maximum performance from it. Even the recently released iphone 11pro max comes with just 4gb ram and tripple 12mp but still yet the even the so called 108mp quad camera &12gb ram phone pictures are no where near the quality of 11 pro max not to talk of multitasking




My question is why do mobile phone companies keep deceiving users with high numbers of rams and mega pixels when actually the maximum output/ quality of those devices don’t depend on large sum of numbers but the ability of the gadget to make maximum output with the little ram or pixels, why can’t most mobile companies produce phones with good ram and pixel management like apple does rather than increasing ram capacity which won’t still make a maximum performance output

I agree with you except the part of the 108mp thing,I having handled the Samsung s20 and the 108mp camera is better than that of the camera used iPhone 11 series not sure of xiaomi's own.Although since apple uses a way smaller mp you'll except a way better result but that's not true it's only a little better,it's work is mostly when pictures are zoomed.

Google pixel also use low mp count and produce quality photos the best in mobile photography, people are even porting their cameras for other devices.Apple and Google depend on the software and they both have a upper hand in this because they both own the mobile os unlike other devices which run on separate skins,not that they can't also do better in the software aspect but because they are lazy.

The reason most use higher megapixels count is because of competition,you see if someone who is neutral in the mobile industry goes to a store and hears a device has 12mp and another has 64mp for the same price they tend to pick the one with 64mp even if the former produces better images that's why they can't stop increasing the numbers.That strategy is what tecno used in their camon 15 with 64mp even though devices with lower counts produces way better results.

Google's pixel is still the smoothest because it owns the operating system,followed by emui devices powered with Kirin processors because they own the chip so they could use it to their advantage others just use what they get except Samsung whose chip is a failure.

Snapdragon offers the best performance in the Android market and they capitalize on that making their chips expensive thus making phone price increase which brands know will affect their sales,that why new mobile Chip producing companies are springing up,if Google make a good chipset their devices could be almost as smooth as iOS devices.
Ram management also depends on the brand some do it well while some do it badly just compare with the right phone and you'll see.

You can play pubg on it because of its octa core 1.6ghz cpu. With its 2gig varient

that chipset is useless it would have been better if they used the low end mediatek 4G chipsets.
This chipset can't handle the likes of pes if it opens then expect extreme lag.
It'll lag whle performing some basic task and multitasking will be a struggle.
I think it's over 20nm about 28nm I get,which means it has a poor batter management.

I'm disappointed,they should stick to less than 30k devices.
