How old are you ? That Analogy is wack being a world power doesn't resort to war lately is your economic strength, science and technology, and formidable military on standby .

The top countries can't go to war with each other right now because of fear no country wants to go down .

Why do you think countries like Iran and North Korea has not been invaded by the west undecided
It's simply because of their Advancement.
The United States might loose is influence if they don't advance in science and technology and loose their allies.

They can loose their top spot without going to war . Going into a full fledged war with Russia or China will make them loose that spot automatically because of the Aftermath. That's why they ( US ) still respect these two countries. Right now Putin is the most powerful man in the world he has been on that position in Obamas tenure. At some point Obama was did these two countries went to War undecided?
the reason why iran and north korea have not been invaded is because of their allies
Russia and china has promised to declare war on america is they invade north korea
I mean they've kidnapped american citizens and we both know that's something the us would react to

The real criminals that Kidnap or carry-out ethnic cleansing in the Middle Belt dont care about such laws.
They use Satellite Phones or roam a SIM they get from Niger Republic, when doing their Evil crimes in Nigeria.

@the bolded: In developed countries, you can buy a SIM off Shelf (it is even free sef!), No I.d. nothing asked and you go to a Newspaper/Agent or Fuel Station and buy Credit Voucher to start using it and off you go.
They still dont experience this sort of Insecurity we do here in Nigeria because to be honest, it is the same people claiming to fight Insecurity, that are the perpetrators of that insecurity.
Do you not remember the Army Officer who was the backer of that Criminal Wadudu (that one the Police IRT arrested in Benue) and who later freed him and killed the Police team?
He is a Northerner and up till today, the military have refused to allow him face trial in Court!
And another Patani !diot is telling Telecoms to remove everyone who does not have NIN within 2weeks?
What has he done with the ones criminals exposed?
Just saying rubbish so he can impress the Dundee United that is leading the country, right
?
you have some points but I'm those countries you'll have to show your passport as a means of identification

Which advanced countries? U don travel b4?? Do you know how it's done in the advanced countries?? Don't just type cos it's convenient.
this is how it's done in Canada and other developed countries,it's just that they have their ways
It may not be the same way with ours
You need to provide an Id which would be your passport if you're a visitor
Do you think you'll just buy a sim card and start using it,this only works when you buy a phone from a carrier which you won't be able to buy if your a visitor...similar goes for other countries and I don't have time to explain to you

The telecoms company will not agree because they stand to loose billions as in billions which of course means ncc will equally loose billions
they have no choice except they want to get their license withdrawn
No be ncc give the law
Of course they know they'll loose money but hey if it secured the nation better then I'm cool with it

Some people still think UK will sanction Nigerian... In their wildest dreams

Since gaining its independence in 1960, Nigeria has maintained strong relations with the United Kingdom, its former colonial master. The United Kingdom is now one of Nigeria’s strongest allies. I think we need UK more now because of the challenges facing the country.

no be lie,I was actually shocked they didn't sanction nigeria but hey they can't risk the profit they make from nigeria especially since they need all the resources they can get for brexit to he successful

Are they just waking up?

Anyway all na strategy for tinubus 2023 campaign

Who else watched the former education Minister interview on cnn

She was right about all what she said, all I wished she had mention was that the Nigerian army is useless instead of calling on the usa army to help us

I mean the stupid buratai was saying the insurgency might continue for another 20 years

I'm glad she mentioned buhari was better off rearing his cows and he needed medical checkup
I mean he actually visited his cows admist what's happening in the country
If we say buhari cares about his cows more than he Nigerian citizens some people would say it's a lie

Travel / Re: Top 10 Richest Countries In Africa by Flytime: 11:08am On Dec 15, 2020
What's the point of being rich and have a poor standard of living
What's the point of having the largest economy but having the highest number of poor people in the world

Our population is too much and it should be regulated by placing heavy fines on people that can't afford to take care of their children
People should be allowed to give birth according to their financial capabilities similar to what china did years back but of course it won't happen till the population becomes unbearable
I can't believe we were speculated to have 1 billion people in this small country in years to come meanwhile south africa that is way bigger has way less population

Population is one of the major cause of the problems in this country

I remember a nairalander saying a guy he knows in the north who is a bike man has 43 kids...43kids he can't take care of ,what's the point of having that much kids you can't afford to take care of
The thing is that many people don't realize that if they have one child they would be able to care of the child and still be comfortable but once they start having more and more they'll have to share that money meant for a family of 3 for a family of 4 or 5 making them poor

The north needs this birth control the most but of course if you try to implement it there they'll turn it to politics and say we want to reduce their population and make them loose their political power due to the amount of votes gotten from the north

This op too mumu

I'm surprised no one mentioned electricity, they have stable electricity meanwhile we are struggling with kanji dam for ages, too build another dam na problem

They make more money in Canada so they'll spend more,if you make money in Canada and spend it on nigeria you'll most likely be rich but if you make money in Canada and spend it there you'll just be an average person but still enjoying life more than a average person in nigeria
On the other hand if you make money in nigeria and spend it in Canada you'll be struggling because our minimum wage is shit,if you are rich in nigeria and you spend your money in Canada you'll probably be average in Canada except your very rich

This mumu op is talking about data, data is expensive in nigeria and we don't have unlimited data plans unlike over there and our service providers rip us off

The issue is that most of them never stop converting cad to naira so they believe things are cheaper here
But the moment they start making money in nigeria they'll know things are not cheap

Things used to be cheap in nigeria even though the standard of living is poor but since we hopped on the next level train things have changed

You people should stop posting pictures dirty environments in Nigeria. No part of Nigeria is fine and organise not even Abuja. Stop this mediocrity. We shouldn't be settling for less whne there's more.... If a person with this mentality becomes a governor tomorrow he will still construct poor, dirty, unpainted tiny roads and call it beautiful. Roads like this should be in rural areas
you are right, but I do believe alausa which is the best part of ikeja is organized and the best looking place in Lagos and probably nigeria with clean roads nice trees, parks and fresh air in this congested lagos
The place inst overpopulated, you'll walk freely enjoyable the walk

I'll rather live in alausa than to live in lekki but hey it's the lagos government territory so of course it'll look good

I was marveled the other day when I saw posts of owerri and abakilik on fp, mehn Nigerian movies has really deceived some of us. In fact this forced me to search for some other western states but I must confess I was totally disappointed. What I'm seeing on this page is an eyesore compared to what I saw in the owerri thread.
As we never travel comot from the south make we continue dey look pictures, but mehn I don promise myself to visit owerri.
don't stress if your disappointed,it's just like someone posting pictures of banana island and you are like damn I have to visit Lagos thinking everywhere is like that

Ado ekiti doesn't impress me apart from good roads and their landscapes but I do believe it's better than owerri

Ogun state is industrialising at a mad pace. Lagos is already choked up and this is the sensible trajectory to follow.

But when will PanOcean, Shell, NNPC, SPDC, Seplat, Mobil, Chevron and so on relocate to the Niger Delta?
they left because the youths there pursued them away claiming land
Most if not all relocated to Lagos

The chances of them relocating back is low because they have Invested a lot in Lagos and they can't risk security if they relocate back

I don't understand northerners, they don't want alcohol in their region but they are here inaugurating a brewery in sw
