dlex21: Well... It isn't bad though depending on the parties involved... Though there shouldn't be too much publicity cos if for some unfortunate reasons the relationship didn't work out...eyebrows will be raised and questions will be asked.
I once did the same thing but when I realized it was gaining too much publicity, I hid all the pictures asap cos everyone ranging from family to friends, far and wide were like "so na your babe be that" and I don't like such.
So your friend shouldn't be too down about it. He should brace up, work harder, make the thing formal, prove her mom wrong and all will be fine. May God bless our hustle Best reply so far |

DrGroove: Her mum is right There is nothing like serious girlfriend I once uploaded a picture I took with a colleague, just a friend at school on my whatsapp. My parents saw it,all hell broke lose
It's shameful for a girl to be associated with a guy who isn't her husband in public
Relationship should be a secret till it materializes
A man can flaunt 100 girls as girlfriends, another 100 girls are waiting to marry him
But for a woman, once you have been identified with one man...sorry! Other men run away from you and if the relationship ends, nobody gon approach u..nobody wants a leftover. moreover, It's not just nice to showcase who you are having premarital sex(That's what people do n call it relationship ) with to the world. Hmmmmm,ok o |
Romance › Is It Bad To Upload Pictures Of You And Your Serious Girlfriend On Facebook? by focusM(op): 4:33pm On May 27, 2015 |
Well,my friend(29yrs) and his girlfriend(26)(which he loves so much and plans to marry) went out on a date and snapped some pictures. He uploaded the picture on his facebook wall and the picture had lots of likes. Well,it didn't go down well with his girlfriend's mum who scolded his girlfriend seriously. His girlfriend's mum told his girlfriend that she is messing up her life because if her present boyfriend ends up dumping her,she may not get any decent guy because she has given out too much publicity for a relationship that has not been legalised. She added that the guy has not done formal introduction to the family and has no right to upload her daughters picture in a public platform because that may discourage other serious suitors. My friend has been feeling down since then because they both love each and want to get married but he is still trying to set himself up financially. So is it a bad thing for guy to post his serious girlfriend's picture on facebook and can this discourage serious suitors in future? |

StealthIdeals: If you want people to be sure you are a lawyer, endeavour to spell words correctly. That 'am' should be spelt 'I'm', and 'wifes' as 'wives'. Queen's English with its honed usage defines dudes in that profession. Is that the best u can offer? SMH for ur lack of what to do. |

Romance › Reasons Why You Should Never Sleep With Any Man That Has Not Married U by focusM(op): 10:13am On May 16, 2015 |
No guy is worth it except the man that takes the bold step of getting married to you. Imagine, when u date them, the make it look like its by force for them to sleep with u. Yet in future, they seek for a virgin to marry and treat like a precious diamond. I met a guy who told me that the only time he can accept no sex before marriage is if the girl is a virgin. If she is not then he must f..ck her too. Its not like the girl he was dating was eating his money. He is a broke nigga but yet insist that he must f..ck the girl since she is not a virgin. Though the girl doesn't want to sleep with any other guy till after marriage. What rubbish! Men are not just worth it at all. They treat women like trash simply because she has had sex before. So what? If she lies that she is a virgin now,its another issue. Infact I just hate those beings called men. Please ladies,if u are currently sleeping with a guy that has not married u,stop it today because the probability that that guy will marry u tomorrow is very slim. Be smart ladies. |

Youngpo413: they are some few ladies who respects themselves and keep their virginity till marriage, the few are what we want,as for the other cheap ones who slept around were not forced by any guy, they made their own choices,so guys were just helping their ministry to grow.
If I disvirgin a girl,I must make sure I marry her,so ladies should go and marry the guy that disvirgined them period, not taking the overused pusy to another man who will now settle with the crumbs...
As for me,I will marry a virgin,if she likes, let her fall from the sky! I feel like giving u very hot slap right now.virgin ko virgin ni. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Immigration Recruitment And Height Requirement;a Serious Discrimination! by focusM(op): 10:23pm On May 05, 2015 |
My younger brother got to the last stage of the immigration recruitment exercise but he is very scared because his height did not reach the requirement. He is just a little short of the expected height. He really fears he may be dropped. Is it fair? Is it his fault that he was short. He didn't create himself. Why does immigration put height as a requirement for employment even when someone is very intelligent and meets every other requirement. Any experienced advice? Has any short guy been employed in immigration before? |

Romance › She Said No To His Marriage Proposal Because He Is Two Years Younger. by focusM(op): 11:23pm On May 02, 2015 |
Lisa(a nairalander who doesn't want to expose her identity emailed me to help her start this thread) is 28 going to 29 and phillip is 27. They were supposed to be just friend but somehow, things went otherwise. Now he says he wants to spend the rest of his life with her and has been asking her to marry him but she keeps refusing because he is 1yr and 6months younger than her. He sees nothing wrong in it but she feels its an abomination and that the younger guy deserves to enjoy a much younger girl. Imagine her turning 40,50 and 60 years old before her husband. Its a very disgusting thing for her. The guy has all it takes to be a good husband except for the age. She has been crying for many days now that life has not been fair to her. Why would the one she loves be younger? She believes she should wait for a guy older to avoid all the shame marrying a younger guy brings. What's you opinion on this. Pls help Lisa and a thousand others out there with the same issue. |

Krasid: It is so sad that matured people do not know what they want.So you say your friend is a good christian yet is contemplating chosing between a guy that drinks, smokes, has 4ked her several times, and does not support her much financially to a decent guy that does not drink, smoke, is patient enough to wait for sex after marriage despite supporting her financially all because one is fun to be around. It seems common sense is no longer common.BTW, why did she start dating 2 guys at the same time.Maybe she wanted to "explore" like most ladies would say.Anyway let your friend reel out the positives and negatives of both men and see which outmatch's the other. It is already clear who would win anyway. Note that paul is a year younger than her and she doesn't really like that too. |
