I didn't try anything, knowing fully well how some Nigerians behaves and her family members that came to hospital to see her. If I had followed up, they would be "milking " me on regular basis. They called me for money for a follow up check in another hospital and I sent. They did same for the second time, I sent. On the third time, I told them to bring her to the former hospital that I took her to, that treated and discharged her, they refused and I quietly blocked them. I told the Physio that treated her about the calls from her family and he told me nothing serious and that she would recover without any further treatment. He gave me a copy of her discharge by the hospital. Don't ever have case with people that would use you as an ATM. Lots of people are hungry in Nigeria and if they perceived you as being able to put food on the table, you would be their "maga"

Similar thing almost happened to me in 2012. My "stubborn" girl didn't hear word. I would go and pick her on Saturdays from where she was doing computer training. On our way back to my house, she would insist on driving the car and I would stupidly be guiding her. On that fateful day, she lost control and hit an "agbo-jedi" Seller that was walking on her own. The lady fell on the road with her load scattered everywhere. Thank God, the incident happened within my area and most people recognised me and offered assistance. I took the injured lady to the hospital and paid for all the wares she had on her pan. It was a very bitter experience. To tell you how funny some people are, her family even wanted to " cashout" from me, despite my treatment of the girl in a highly rated hospital and huge compensation for loss of her goods. The goods didn't even miss as passers-by gently picked everything on the road, except the one inside bottle that got shattered.

As a young graduate, if you enter the banking system as a full time staff in a good department like treasury, financial control, corporate audit, internal services, corporate affairs, investors relations, legal, human capital, investment banking, private banking or within the office of the group managing director, you are already on the part of career success. It's left for you to learn as much as possible within those units and continue to develop and deepen your capabilities. I had to advice someone that completed a program in automation in Canada to move to Practical nursing. I am glad he did and he is completing his 2 - year diploma in Practical nursing and currently have a job in a Youth shelter home as a support worker. While doing his automation program, he never got any job as a student and was becoming frustrated. He still did not get job when he finished the Automation program. If you intend to study abroad, go for programs with job prospects instead of those with beautiful names without any prospect of securing job in a typically white - dominated sector.
