I work from home

Surprisingly, my children are closer to me than their mom. I play lots of roles in their lives, which they see. I take them to school; do assignments with them; take them to church; take them out; attend to all their schools requests, including parental and open day visits; iron their clothes; put them through life lessons. They hardly make any request to their mom. Everything is about me. They hardly discuss anything concerning their education or school with their mom. They must wait for me. I hardly see them make requests about where they want to go; assistance with school work or when sick to their mom. It's me. When sick or not feeling fine, I will be the first to be told except when I am not around. However, the mom carries on with the nursing aspect of their care when sick till full recovery. It's all about getting involved in their total formation and development

Elrufai used to be the darling of some political party supporters. He is now about to become the darling of another set of supporters. If tomorrow, he changes base and starts singing another song, he would become the darling of the people whose interests matches with his. It would be a matter of time before this matter dies down. Nigerians are not bothered about the integrity of the political class as long as the politician is on their side. If Elrufai was still a high ranking member of the ruling party, some people castigating his son's tweet now would have defended that tweet, and even blame the people of southern kaduna for first looking for trouble.

I don't know why I am never a fan of all these big and popular pastors and men of God.

The FCT Minister, under Buhari, is the worst in history. That man should be tried for gross under performance. He was so uninspiring throughout his tenure with nothing to show. Very inactive and unconcerned fellow. Buhari didn't even noticed and allowed him complete an 8 years tenure. I was in Abuja in December and I was marvelled at the extent of rehabilitation of the city. Wike may be playing some dangerous politics but he is far better than other politicians that have held the same office he is holding or have held in the past, including the governor of Rivers state. He is arguably, the best governor of Rivers state since the birth of the fourth Republic

The whole essence of birth tourism is for the parents to give their children hope for the future, as they believed that Nigeria, as it is, cannot guarantee a brighter future for the upcoming generations of Nigerians.

If Palestinians had accepted the Israeli rule and maintained peace in the years past, Palestine would have been far more developed than now. Some have made it a habit NOT to share some information that would benefit their friends, thinking that the friends will soon become more successful than them. I witnessed that during my stay in UK. People would rather share fliers about their church programmes with you than inform you about a recent recruitment going on in their organisation or elsewhere. Though, not all nigerians. Many are also good in providing leads on jobs and opportunities.

Government should stop wasting money in building quarters for judges and top civil servants. Of what benefit are those buildings to the people? Those top civil servants should sort out their accommodation themselves, just like any other Nigerian. Public funds would be spent to build exotic mansion for corrupt people while public infrastructure like schools, hospitals and markets would be looking like a ghetto.

I know a man that the son and daughter finished at the Jesuit owned school in Lagos. The schools fees per session is close to N3.5m and he had two kids there then.

Those his two kids are very smart. I interacted with them whenever they were on vacation. Their forward thinking, attitude and characters are top notch. Both are first year University students in the US now.

I usually use them as role model for my kids.

Remember the network of friends your kids got to build when they attend top notch schools.
