If you have the funds, please return to school for medicine. If you have upper second class or distinction in msc and you don't have problems transitioning to other fields, follow recruitment with consulting firms, big 4, banking and financial institutions for graduate level positions. Don't restrict yourself to just Biology and life sciences to have your career there. People work in sectors that they didn't study in school. People like us studied engineering and went ahead to have successful careers in banking, audit and management consulting.

In Nigeria, it is absolute trash. It may pay if you are in Canada or UK. Those with qualifications in Geriatrics and gerontology work in long term care settings, hospices, retirement and shelter homes. It's always a stepping stone to practical and registered nursing profession in Canada for international students. I know someone that studied gerontology in a college in Canada. She is working in a long-term care setting. Her intention is to go back to school for practical nursing program after getting her PR.
