In as much as Canada is tough now, I wouldn't use this guy as a yard stick. His appearance, poise, professionalism and demeanour are already against him. My person is there now, working in a mental home shelter. At least, the person is seeing close to $4900 every month and the person has been there just a little over a year. It was tough as more than 300 applications were sent before one clicked. Canada is tough now, but if you have funds to sustain yourself while you job hunt, no problems. But if you don't have money to sustain yourself while you navigate through the job market, na OYO!!! Please, go with sufficient funds and never rely on working to pay your school fees. Jobs may not come for the next 9 to 12 months. |
The ignorance of some of the supporters of this man back home is legendary. Terrorism has taken firm root in the SE and these ignorant supporters are still supporting and defending him and his nefarious activities. You can't move freely in a prado or land cruiser SUV in some places in SE and some people are happy with it like that. Some areas are becoming largely ungoverned as police and security agencies have abandoned their positions because of regular attacks on them. Those places have been taken over by terrorists, settling scores and virtually became government onto themselves and the people within those localities |
Democracy in some of these South East Asian countries is the best. It could be extreme, sometimes and they don't joke with the rule of law. China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and even Malaysia. The Western Democracy is learning democracy and rule of law where these countries are. Their institutions are extremely strong and accountable. Do anyhow, you see anyhow ![]() |
Fear "brief case" businessmen and women. I can bet that the so called Omritas Energy is a one room office, where the woman uses her connections to get and execute contracts. This is what happens in Nigeria with brief case companies. Some of them are also fraudulent. She would rather stay the two years in jail than to pay the N57m restitution. If the court decides to wound up the company, they will find out that the company has no assets, except the certificate of registration with CAC. As the company is a limited liability company, the woman's personal assets may be protected, as the woman is seen as different from Omritas Energy in the eye of the law. |
People are here cursing Reno without understanding the interplay between making controversial comments and making money off social media. Reno knows what he is doing and the controversies keep making him popular. Guy is cashing out big time. |
Don't blame him - blame the Nigerian electorates or those who selected him. The signs were there during the campaign when he could not say anything correctly. I was shocked that some people were defending him, that he does not need to be sound in reading and writing to perform as a governor. |
Syrians are going to miss Assad. The West and their media machines that were pushing on and cheering the rebels when the uprising started are no where to be found. Their voices have gone mute. Syria is done for good!!!. The rebels will bulkanize the country with warlords ruling its own fiefdom. A destabilised Syria is good for both Israel and Turkey. Those that supported the rebellion against Assad will not offer any help. The coming weeks and months would be interesting to watch. |
This is very unnecessary, Shettima. ![]() |
The judge of the lower court must be a novice to have accepted the deposition made by the couples that there is no IVF treatment center in Nigeria. ![]() |
faceland:The disbanded former regime fighters/military will regroup to mount another opposition to the current victorious rebels/terrorists and the cycle continues. Syria is done for good!!! You think that the shia Alawite tribe will watch while the Sunni terrorist/rebels reclaim everything? ![]() Syria will be worse than Librya - no be Arabs again. ![]() |
I hope the country rises from the ashes of this war. The faces of these rebel leaders look more like terrorists than freedom fighters. I hope they will all come together, under a common leadership and united armed forces, to rebuild Syria. The next few days and months would be interesting to watch. No be Arabs again. ![]() |
Syria will be another Libya. There will not be any centrally - recognised government. Each faction of the rebels/terrorist will be controlling its own fiefdom. The West should know that the fall of Assad will spell doom for them in later years. Refugees and migrants from Syria will continue to flood Europe. |
This OP must be a JJC. This is a common trend among airlines. You just want to trend but I am happy that your ignorance was squarely addressed by others. Even in US, environmentalists are urging airlines to reduce their waste and most have started giving out water in disposal cups instead of giving full bottles to people. There is nothing wrong with it. Coffees are also shared in disposal cups in airlines. |
See massive expanse of land, idling away and we are having chronic food shortage in this country. Our country should prioritise massive mechanized agriculture and its whole value chain |
LP was and is Tinubu's Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), which purpose was achieved. ![]() One of the best kept secret of the 2023 presidential election. Obi is APC's beautiful bride but people wont understand. Very soon, Tinubu would invite Obi to Asorock to "advise" him on how to chat the way forward for the nation |
Our standards are terribly low in this country ![]() |
He is not using his Professorship title from FUTO or has he returned it to FUTO? ![]() I was expecting to see Prof. Isa Pantami |
I was expecting to see the raw American dollars and not these shitty currency notes. Africa agencies and eye service. Some of the cash would still be re-looted |

Atiku no go forgive Obi wey cut him ticket in 2023 ![]() |

Women and children!!! Some single Nigerian ladies will go to Libya and come back with children from different men. Some deliberately got pregnant to get sympathy from rescuers and NGOs from EU. This one has backfired. Imagine coming to Nigeria with kids with no sources of livelihood in Nigeria, other than the usual transport fare given to you to go back to your State. |
Inconsequential I was 32 while my wife was 20 when we got married. She just finished the defense of her final year project in school then She has grown under my tutelage and grown into a full woman. She brought youthful flare in the marriage while I complimented it with my maturity and experience, and, so far, we have been living well, going into the 12th year now. There is nothing wrong in marrying a younger woman. It could even be fun for you. as she would see you as all she got, while you nurture her with love and patience. If you are not a patient type, do not marry a far younger lady. They lack experience in lots of things and are bound to make mistakes or not meet your expectations in terms of maturity, professionalism and tact in doing things. Patience is key. |
He is continuing from where Buhari stopped. That was what he told Nigerians and he has been living up to it. A man of his words 👏 🙌 ![]() |
This guy is a star in Catholic music renditions. Listening to his music and sound tracks always ignites the Catholicism passion in me. Thank God for your freedom. Please, don't take the freedom for granted. |
Bestmanfornow:He made a valid point and you are insulting him. It equally means that your standards are terribly low. Modern roads are built with pedestrian walkways provided....not open gutters as you could see in the picture. Anyway, the professor already said it, that his inability to deliver on his " Dubai- Taiwan " campaign promise is due to the "large illiterate " population of the state. |

![]() BAT na master, abeg! Someone listening to Adedeji would think that he was siding North. The bill is to move funds to where consumptions are and not where the head offices of the production companies are located. If 1m people consumes alcohol in Anambra, the VAT there to should go to Anambra. If 10 people consumes alcohol in Kano, they get vat only on the 10 people that consumes the products. If 10m people in Lagos accesses network services from MTN, the VAT there goes to Lagos. If only 50k people accesses or uses MTN services in Kebbi state, the VAT that goes should only be on the 50k people that uses the services. I think this is fair and Mr. President should be supported and commended for initiating this fiscal reform. VAT as a consumption tax is also a "destination" tax and the locations where consumers of goods and services lives, should enjoy higher percentage allocation. |
Soludo is just an "audio" man. Everything about him is "ongoing ". Nothing has ever been completed and commissioned. With the red mud soil still visible within the construction site, give the project completion date till 2026, earliest. ![]()

I am sure his total income tax paid in Nigeria under the PAYE scheme may not be up to N1m per annum. Nigerian elites and politicians would keep feeding fat on this country with little contribution to the State's coffers. If you see the tax clearance certificates of some of our politicians, with their under declared incomes, you will know why the country is like this. The same applies to private individuals in business, with properties scattered every where. Most would declare total incomes that are not up to N500k in a year just to pay little tax. It is only the working class people in the formal sector that are contributing the highest in taxes in this country. |
He should go and sit down. After the discovery, what then happens? Media hype and hypocrisy all the time. Be stealth with your investigation and keep mute with your forensic investigation till you are able to nail the culprit. Not coming to the media to make unfounded allegations. |
But I like the guy sha. He seems dedicated to his job and building bridges. But don't trust any Nigerian politician, never!!! |
