1. There's every possibility that within the two years frame, one party might be interested in another person. There is no guarantee that you both will get married eventually after the wait. 2. You're still an international student. Living on Student visa is not for the faint hearted. Focus on yourself and graduate from school, secure your Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP), enter into the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) pathway to Permanent Residency to stabilize your stay in Canada. 3. Please allow her go. |
taiwolomo1:Hahahahaha. E nor bad if you start am na. ![]() |
manitobor:Oga, you're the one being sentimental here. If you want evidential report of this case, I can link you up with the prosecution counsel. Or better still, share the certified true copy of the judgment with you for your perusal. I am not supporting the judgment based on the fact that she's a woman. Come off that crap! The Judge interprets the laws, she is not the one who wrote it. Laws are written down rules and the punishment of culpable homicide is death sentence. Take it or take it! Lmao of course, he has the right to appeal in a higher court. It would be nice if you also sponsor his appeal as a concerned citizen of Nigeria. Travesty of justice kor. Traboski ni. |
Zocalite:Lmao. I'm telling you! ![]() |
manitobor:@ the bolded. Even if he hit her?? Are you serious right now? 5 to 10 years ke? If you kill, you will be killed. In Nigeria, we are governed by the Criminal Code (for Southern states) and Penal Code (for Northern States). Abuja is in the North and the punishment for culpable homicide is the death penalty by hanging. You're the ignorant one here please, if you don't know something, just simply ASK questions to gain clarity. |
AmazonTopaz:Calvary greetings, Topaz! Seeeeeee!!! As I saw that thread, I blocked one troll with the speed of lightning. When I have energy tomorrow, I will block his alternates as well. We also need a dislike button badly. |
Northernblood7:The same Bible said Love and live peaceable with all men - Romans 12:18. Christ never condemned the sinners, you should tow that path as well. |

Karleb:Hi Karleb, The definition of Rape is inconsistent between governmental health organizations, law enforcement, health providers, and legal professions. It also has its meaning according to each jurisdiction. In Nigeria, Rape is the unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl/woman without her consent, or with her consent through threats or intimidation or fear of harm...... Our Nigerian laws do not provide the meaning of Rape to be gender neutral and is based on the concept that only a woman can be raped. The sections of the Criminal and Penal Code buttress further that rape can only be committed by a man against a woman and not vice versa. Section 357 of the Criminal Code Act applicable in the Southern part of Nigeria, defines rape as follows; “Any person who has unlawful carnal knowledge of a woman or girl without her consent, or with her consent, if the consent is obtained by force or by means of threats or intimidation of any kind, or by fear of harm, or by means of false and fraudulent representation as to the nature of the act, or in the case of a married woman, by personating her husband, is guilty of an offence which is called rape.” Section 282 of the Penal Code which is applicable in the Northern part of Nigeria defines rape as follows; “(1) A man is said to commit rape who … has sexual intercourse with a woman in any of the following circumstances:- (a) against her will; (b) without her consent; (c) with her consent, when her consent has been obtained by putting her in fear of death or of hurt; (d) with her consent, when the man knows that he is not her husband and that her consent is given because she believes that he is the man to whom she is or believes herself to be lawfully married; (e) with or without her consent when she is under fourteen years of age or of unsound mind. (2) Sexual intercourse by a man with his own wife is not rape, if she has attained to puberty". |
