Can you guys shut up already, elections is long gone. Let all of us pray for the betterment of this country instead of waging tribal wars on who should have been the president or not. Mind you, I didn't vote balabulu but I'm so tired of you guys wishing Nigeria Doom in order to justify your choice of candidate. If heaven will fall, na all of us go suffer nah

Ehen.... That rental payment date fell on a Saturday so I thought the payment will just be done today but nothing has been done so far.

Same here, nothing received yet hopefully tomorrow morning. Update the house if you have received yours.

While waiting for primary auction, always keep your money in MMF so that you can still benefit indirectly from the tbill. One of the advantages of MMF it has easy entry and exit.

Thanks, funds have been returned to mmf as the waiting game already caused me a huge loss. I just don't like the back n forth of moving money. I also think that there should be a way fbnquest can bid for me without pulling out funds from my mmf portfolio to my saving account first?, has anyone ever done this before? Like giving instructions to move funds from your mmf for treasury's bill primary auctions.

April 10th is holiday. Might be moved to upper week

Wao. Didn't see that coming. So na so one month go pass by without me taking part in these Juicy rates. First bank no do well at all for skipping two auctions now.

First bank has pulled out of today's auction. If you bought with them, expect refund tomorrow.

Could this affect individual that stipulate their rate? Anybody with today results?

How my brother my bid even failed as I insisted on 21% at first bank last primary market. Yesterday I tried secondary market at first bank and they are saying 18%

How come your bid failed?, I believe the stop rate was over 21%, I'm looking forward to participating in the next primary auctions for 20.40%.

Normally, that's how it is but sometimes it happens that another auction will hold a week after depending on the calendar. With the first quarter calender posted on this page few days back, there is another auction next week.

Wao, I will miss the next week bidding then because fbnquest won't release funds until 48 hrs, I will get ready for the March 27th auction.

No auction on 20th. Next is 13th and then 27th.

I believe auctions are 14 days apart, are you sure of these dates? I want to pull out funds from mutual funds to bid on the next auction, thanks.

Very good. Zenith collects Tax from interest. I was sad when I transacted with them. I had to port to GTB and vat + charges removed wasn't much at all

Does taxes varies among banks? What % were you charged by Zenith that could have made you sad?, Someone mentioned here that there's a 10% withholding tax on Tbs investment . It's been three years since my last subscription and I'm hoping to bid in the next auctions.

Mine was successful with First Bank, around 20 -21%. I have not seen the certificate just rough calculation from the interest returned

Is there any withholding tax from your interest?

Tbs should be nothing less than 22% by now as dollar is now #1,650. The economy isn't economiking, I wonder how the civil servants survive on a daily basis.

I don't want to believe that we are finished in this country

But it seems we are! Things are not working at all, the economy is so so depressing. The policies of Naira floating and subsidy removal have finished Nigeria kpatakpata. Other Africa countries are now our abroad in terms of currencies conversion and economic values. Go to the bank and see how both the young and old are converting their naira to hard currencies for the fear of further devaluation of Naira, it's very concerning how quick things are falling apart here.

Unnecessary attacks

Some gets motivations from stories like that.

We can not convert all our money to dollars

Allow naira to breath

Age, inheritance policy and volume of naira you hold can be a reason you shouldn't bother about dollars.

I laugh but rarely argue when I see how hard people defend Thier Naira fixed investments even when the handwriting is bold enough to see that such investment is doomed and in the ruins, they still try hard to justify the valueless millions that comes as dividends. My loss in this yeye naira devaluation would have bought me three Houses of my dream, I'm in siviiiia pain o but I've stopped to beat myself up, naija economy is jagajaga

He is not looking to make a new investment, he talking about the already subscribed SUKUK VI.

There are other CP's with higher rates; like SKDL and Robust international with coronation. My issues with TB is the sudden 10% WHT they are deducting from accrued interest these days.

Kindly explain the bolded. I thought there's no withholding tax on treasury bills, is this new?

P.s" Got the needed Answers, 10% off the interest is a bit high o.

Savings account with them can be open from the comfort of your home. In fact on your bed. The requirements are your utility bill, valid ID and an android or IOS phone. Your passport will be taken while opening. Then download the app and set it up. That's all.

However, I don't know how easy a Dorm account is with them. For other banks, your will need like 2 Referees who have a current or dorm to attest to your capabilities/suitable of maintaining the account in written form.

The app and website haven't been working for saving account opening, the app will direct you to the website and website will redirect you to the app. I want to fund my eurobond account with fbnquest, what's the best way to go about it without incurring excess charge?

Open an eurobond account.( I use FBN Quest) Open a dorm account with standard chattered. Pay in your dollar into your dorm account, transfer it to your eurobond account.

You can also use any other dorm account but you will pay excessive transfer charges.

How can one open a dorm account with standard chartered? I've been struggling to open even a savings account with them with no success.

Shebi you dey whine me or your account has been hacked?

If that projection is to be true, that means all the 10 year bonds that were over subscribed the investors did not know what they were doing?

I still believe Tinubu can salvage the situation. This is not a time to play politics but rather to bring in the best brains nigeria has to come up with a solution.

Hoping on this government is a disaster waiting to happen. Come tomorrow, I'm withdrawing all my Naira investments, I've lost so much being patriotic. Make all of us Kuku dey spend dollars
