Common youth tournaments in Africa we can't even host, this is not 2009 when things were fairly okay. There's a general rot all round. Because we don't want too and not because Nigeria lacks the capacity. Nigeria has infrastructure to host AFCON. Stadiums Transportation (road, airports and train) Good hotels Inter city security What else do they have we don't have? |

semid4lyfe: Baba. no be say you talk but I talk the same thing after that DR Congo gane. Lookman is probably the only Super Eagles forward that drops into the half-spaces between the midfield and attack, and carries the ball forward. He brings dynamism to our play and should be starting ahead of other forwards as the second striker.
This was my post after the DR Congo game. I saw your post that day and I agree with you. Lookman should have remained on the pitch after losing Osimhen. How can you remove your best players to bring in players that doesn't have winning mentality? That day alone he created two chances that was wasted by Ndidi and co. Well, I hope he doesn't listen to pundits who read football with emotion. |

Cameroon has functional systems. Our problem isn't just funding. It's corruption, accountability gaps, and inability to complete projects. Political will without institutional capacity won't achieve jack squat. Have you been to Cameroon before? Na fourth world country. Yaounde is less developed than Ikeja. Which time would there be to set up a knockouts tournament to decide who would play Jamaica in the fixture congested season next year? Or do people believe we'll automatically be chosen just like that cause we played them in the final? Perhaps, they will use FIFA ranking. |

They want to bench Lookman for Adam because they think he is not good enough. I just dey laugh. He is arguably the best player in that team along with Osimhen. Only if una wan deceive unaself you will put some players ahead of him. See Atalanta, the same player that was poor under one coach suddenly regained form under another coach. Why? The latter trust his ability and gave him almost full time. Lookma na second half player. Leave him till the end and see him perform. Chelle lost it when he pulled him out against Dr Congo along with Osimhen. I couldn't understand his rational behind bringing him out. Trust him and he will deliver. But I know why they are against him. They feel he is not assisting Osimhen. Shuuuuu!!! They even lied on this platform SE never scored more than 2 goals when he played. What an irony!!! Police no too get liver. There was a time we had ki.ll and go police we now call MOPO. They were deadly, efficient and feared then but I don't think they are well trained these days.
In addition, we need to build fences and trenches to round the country. Mines should be laid in between the two fences. This can be built by the military engineers and NYSC engineering students. This is time is time of war.
We need to put small submarines used by one country (I will not mention it here) in our rivers especially Lake Chad to do dirty jobs.
Use of night goggle and drones will also be helpful.
The next thing is to deport illegal immigrants and enforce strict documentation at the port of enrty into the country.

Sarsaparilla524: Midfielders who can add depth and quality to the Nigerian midfield
Faustino Anjorin (Empoli, England): Chelsea academy graduate, currently at Empoli. He has represented England at youth level but remains eligible for Nigeria at senior level
Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal, England): Rising Arsenal star, England youth international, and eligible for Nigeria. He hasn’t played for England’s senior team, so a switch is still possible.
Tim Iroegbunam (Everton, England): Former England youth international now playing for Everton. Still eligible for Nigeria and has a profile similar to Wilfred Ndidi.
Michael Folorunsho (Napoli/Bari, Italy): Italian-born midfielder playing for Bari on loan from Napoli. He has not played for Nigeria yet and remains an option.
Malik Olayiwola (Everton, England): Has featured for England youth sides but remains uncapped at senior level, so his eligibility for Nigeria is intact.
Adeyemi Adewale (Germany): German youth international with Nigerian heritage; expressed openness to representing Nigeria at senior level. Nwaneri is the big deal on this list. The last 2 are kids. |

Michael Folorunsho has been capped by Italy in a Friendly ( His heart has been set on playing for the Italian National team) and he is not an option for us as you erroneously stated in your post. If it was a friendly match, he is still eligible to play for Nigeria. |

Some people have agenda ooo and I am wondering what they aim to achieve. Right now, I am watching the first half and I am yet to see Osayi fumbled. The guy was decent throughout the match. He even created many chances from his wings. Another fat lie is Lookman playing on the wing and not going back to defend. What a fat lie. The guy didn't play on the wings throughout this first half. In fact not only him, Chukwueze didn't play on the wing. They were all over the midfield and played closely to Osimhen. Chaiiiii!!!! Na so I for fall mugu today sha. Lookman created 3 chances in this match. Osimhen missed all the 3 chances. Though the first should had been second assist. The through pass to Zaidu that Osimhen fumbled with open net. Chaiiiii!!! Another agenda na Zaidu not playing well. Are you kidding me? Dude was allover the place. Na wa ooooo. Agenda must agend. |

Meliforme: A good decision equals a goal scored. When an decision results to a goal, the goal makes the decision the right one.
You cannot conclude a goal scored or the action that led to it as a poor or bad decision. Poor decision making means wayward crosses, wayward passes, loosing ball anyhow, passing to wrong person etc. |
