Mostly, a bigger GDP translates to bigger amounts of debts. One of the characteristics of developed nations is that they usually have higher amounts of debts. Few developed nations show the opposite of this.Very few!

As long as our debt to gdp ratio does not cross the red line,60%,.....Kenya should continue accumulating debt if necessary, this debt should only be meant for development.

With Nigeria having a 350b gdp, they should be borrowing more than what they are owed knowing that they can easily pay up because they have a higher gdp.

They know full well that they have a fake gdp. They can't borrow much because their treasury doesn't collect enough monies!

Their treasury's actual balances at the end of each revenue collection year are roughly the same size as Kenya's ones!
One oil well is enough to borrow $100b. Decipher? grin

2 or 3 or 5b that kenya borrows. You look up what Egypt or South Africa can do...they can leverage upto 200B.And you probably have to gurantee the loan with oil futures contracts.
The truth is, Nigerians don't really believe in borrowing. The $5b borrowed is still generating public outcry. If Nigeria wants to borrow $100b today, IMF will deposit it in our account before the day ends. So, stop bordering yourself with our policies and face your business. grin

They like TZ had 18B forgiven by Paris Club. They are hopeless without oil.Right now no serious creditor can lend them serious money. They have the same tag as HIC.South Africa or Egypt can easily borrow even 200B dollars. They can only float 2 or 3b eurobond like kenya.
We just borrowed $5b dollars to complete our 3050mw project. Clown.

As late as yesterday Boko Haram attacked people in Borno (Porn.ohuh). So Kenya is safe by these grim standards of Naija.
Where did you get the news from? Atleast, we know there is war going on in a restricted areas. We don't need to go to bed with two eyes opened in other areas unlike Kenya you don't know where the attack will next come from. grin

Kenya is relatively waaay safer than Nigeria. We average one or two high profile kidnaps in a decade while you have dozens almost every year especially in the Niger Delta. Mind you the kidnappings in Kenya are done by Somalis from Somalia while in your case you do it yourself.
Westgate mall shooting and Garissa attack are still fresh in the world's memory. Kenya is not safe.

You shared a video of a golf course called Lukaku or was it Lupita? I was responding to that because your aim was to scare me. If the greeny areas in Nigeria are golf courses then you're a lost civilization. No wonder you say greeny instead of greenery. In Kenya greenery is a norm.
That's is an estate built with golf course as part of its attraction. It's called golf estate. There are many other estates with their peculiar attractions. Now, stop fooling around and accept you were ignorant about that simple fact that there is/are that kind of areas in Nigeria. I am focused and objective in what I do. So, stop digressing from golf to English.

There are many greenery cities in Nigeria and greenery in some are more than the whole Kenya's cities combined. grin

This is another area in Lagos called Victoria Gardens city. grin

You want to turn Lagos into Beijing or polluted India cities where sun is covered by smog. Looking at pictures of Lagos - you're well on the way. Now imagine with your population and your lack of serious on matters enviroment - soon you'll need face masks.Lagos pictures are so grainy it can only indicate there is a serious air pollution problem. I doubt you cannot afford high resolution cameras. Learn from Nairobi and put greenery or enviroment as top concern. Even in whatever CBD - you can still insist on building owners planting trees - elsewhere - including the streets - to compensate for all the carbondioxide they will generate. There is a lot of pubic land that can do with trees and other carbon sinkers - you build a skyscrapper - you got to plant 1 million trees.

The city I went to in Asia is better than Beijing China. Asian cities are conscious of greenery because it is an ancient practice but not all areas are still greenery.

Beijing China is still more greenery than all the cities in Kenya combined.

Thats a joke grin That golf course is not even good enough for juniors. The golf courses in Kenya are next level.

Last year, right here, I said that Kenya will be promoted to the PGA European Tour status and it has happened, all down to our pristine golf courses. Im talking about golf courses so pristine you would denounce a free trip to the moon just to come see them. Courses with an airstrip within. Expect the likes of Rory McIlroy, Patrick Reed and Tommy Fleetwood among others in Kenya this year and the prize money is huge.
What is my business with golf courses, huh? I am just proving you wrong with facts because you ignorantly said there is nothing like that in Nigeria. Now, that you have been proven wrong you want to change topic. grin

Great News! Finally we can dream of getting rid of heavy fuel power generation.

Nigeria's biggest wind farm produces 10 MW!!! Enough power to light a mere 10,000 homes but it took them 8 years to build! Trust these bastards! The French workers that were building the tiny farm were kidnapped. After release they refused to complete the contract and fled Nigeria. So the clueless Nigerians flew to France where they were taught how to install the blades.

At 307 MW we should add a minimum million plus citizens to the grid.
Hahahaha! Technology was transferred by fire by force. grin

rvp20183:
Only a nigeria would say that - all areas should have greenery - not some parts of the city. Even right at CBD - you need trees and grass. All you need is to enforce a building code that requires buildings to reserve % of space for trees, grass and flowers. And gov to complement that by planting trees on streets, keep grass on lawns and etc.
Who told you we don't plant trees and greenery? Dude, I wrote that in regards to houses built on large plots of land. Decipher.

Go to Calabar, P/H, Ibadan, Enugu, Abuja, lagos etcetera there you will see trees, grass, flowers in many areas.

Now, stop fooling yourself with having code reserving areas for greenery in major cities because it doesn't work like that. I know because I have been to some big cities in one big Asian country but they don't have such useless codes for every areas.
