Mario gotze goal won Germany last World Cup,And I am not sure he will make their squad because he has been out of form,so Germany should look at his past glory right ?
Just the way Eder goal won Portugral the European championship but since then he has he been invited ?
You are just a typical example of a Nigeria coach with no clue Oga, where is Ideye playing currently? All those talks doesn't add up. |

tbaba1234: You will always say Kayode is the best, he is one of your favorite players alongside Ajagun, ilori.. ..
Kayode finishing is average, when he went to a better league, it showed.. Ideye was scoring a lot in Ukraine but when the standard was higher he could not produce.
Umar had limited opportunities in Serie A but he showed his ability in pre season and now in the Eredivise. In his recent games, he has made me a believer in his abilities. He still needs to improve on his finishing. His finishing is not good enough yet.
Dessers has one of highest goal scoring rates per minute in the eredivise. That's why you are not being objective but rather subjective in reasoning because you think 'they are my favorite players'. That is the height of ridiculousness. The question should be, do they deserve to be mentioned based on performance as at the time they were clamored for? Yes or no. That's is being objective in reasoning. Did you watch Kayode Olanrewaju in the la Liga? Can you please tell me the match you watched Kayode played that it showed that is finishing was average? Can you tell me the position he played in the match? Please, make sure you tell me of atleast 2 or 3 matches? When I said you are biased and subjective in analysis, I don't think I am going too far else how can you make excuses for Sadiq Umar for not having game time but condemned Kayode without thinking Sadiq Umar had better chances than Kayode Olanrewaju in Sergio_A? How many games and minutes did Kayode play in la Liga? 12 matches with 375 minutes only. Don't forget he started only twice and on the second occasion he assisted twice and won MOTM. I will not tell you where he played in some of matches he came on. Let us see you really watched the match or YouTube self. Now, what about Sadiq Umar? 16 matches with 642 minutes game time. So, from your biased mind, Kayode had more game time than Sadiq Umar, right? Mtcheww! Umar missed many scoring chances in Sergio_A I saw him played, oh.. ha! Ask those who saw him played here, they will tell you. So, stop the lies and be objective for once. The first snapshot is Kayode’s stats while the second is Sadiq's stats. I repeat, Brown ideye and Kayode olanrewaju are far better than Dessers and Umar.

tbaba1234: Ideye is very hardworking and links up play well but his finishing is poor.
Umar is strong, fast and skilful, also holds up play well but can do better with finishing.
Dessers, better finisher than Umar and Ideye, good on both feet but not as strong as them
Kayode, fast and disturber in chief, closes the ball better than the rest, finishing average, not great in holding up play.. I have seen all played. Brown Ideye and Kayode Olarewaju are far better. Umar struggled in Seria A. Forget stats. I monitored his games. Besides, if Kayode Olanrewaju finishing is average, how come he scored double digits goals for 4 straight seasons? If Kayode Olanrewaju finishing is average then Umar and Dessers are below average. Take that to the bank. |

somehow: Yea yea yea, color it anyhow you like but una intensions are out in the open since hearing the news. Too bad some of you don't know that for Ighalo to sit up, he need someone who's with same experience or even more experienced than him up front. He's been kinda lackadaisical of recent. Anyways we can as well include a toddler to the 23 man list to the world cup so we can go make up numbers as usual.
There is no other striker of Nigerian descent tested and trusted that can give Ighalo any sit up needed at the mundia. All the same, I still pray we find a greenhorn somewhere somehow who can at least come to our rescue incase Ighalo continue his "press up activities" at the Frontline why we beg other players to help us score as usual.
Kayode to me doesn't have that presence that can scare or put defenders at alert.
Umar, I don't know if Rohr wants someone like that.
Dessers..... He's been up in the media for months now and Rohr hasn't for once given any hint of calling him.
Maybe Ajayi but is Ajayi a CF that can actually replace Ighalo if need be? Ask AC Roma, dey will tell you Kayode scared the life out of them with his two goals and assist in Europa League over two matches. Don't forget, he scored against an Italian defensive team twice. I don't think it's is moi moi. Kayode Olanrewaju is far better than Dessers and Umar combined. Those two lads are not in his level. Give him the chance to prove himself and he will deliver. |

(Take story with a pinch of salt because of OGN antecedents) Has Eze Ebere being more impressive than Abdul Ajagun this season? I am not saying he should not be called but if he's called, then Abdul Ajagun must be on the list. Or Rohr doesn't know Nigeria players doing well abroad. We are watching. |

And i sincerely do not see what Ogbeche offers that we do not already have
Dessers and Umar offer something unique and different. Strikers willing to take on their markers. Only two games is not enough to right Ideye off. He's still better than Dessers and Umar. I know people will not focus on what Ogbeche can bring to the table but his age to discredit him. Kayode Olanrewaju is far ahead of these two players. He brings more to the team. If we look at Dessers stats in Eredivise, it's not impressive neither is Sadiq Umar's impressed in Seria A. However, Kayode Olanrewaju has impressed in all the leagues in went to including la Liga. |

Eze spent half of his first Football career season in league 2 England and he is spending the second half of the season in the Championship.
This is his first season in professional football.
Such player needs to be monitored for some time before you begin to clamor for him, so that he doesn't disappoints you but unfortunately, I have not really being following players these days save for the ones I think can add value to the team going to the world Cup.
Eze is just coming up. He has not done better than Onomah in anywhere.
However, I don't mind he is given a chance but I think it should be after the world cup because I don't think he's ahead of Abdul Ajagun, Sone Aluko and even Josh Onomah currently.
I hope somebody understands. Thank you. |

TheSuperNerd: Rohr Comments On Performance of Super Eagles Fans Favorite Joel Obi & Iheanacho
https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/28169Obi.jpg
Gernot Rohr has commented on the performance of Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho for the Super Eagles during the last international break of the 2017-2018 season.
Against Poland, Rohr deployed a 4-4-1-1 formation with Iheanacho playing behind top striker Odion Ighalo, and the German thinks the Foxes number eight and another left-footed player Joel Obi did well.
''I know my players, Kelechi is running so much and fighting for his starting place, it is very important that we have this competition, he is a left footer and we don’t have so many left footers,'' Rohr said to Omasports.
''We also tried Joel Obi for the first time since I have been the coach of the Super Eagles.
''He is a left footer, we need some left footers in the team and he did well, Iheanacho also, he is fighting and pressing hard, he is able to score.''
Iheanacho was not in Nigeria's match day squad against Serbia on March 27 due to injury and will undergo a late fitness test before Leicester City's Premier League clash at Brighton.
On the other hand, Torino midfielder Joel Obi put his injury worries behind him and was named in the starting line-up in the two international friendlies.
