komekn: Is Lukaku English yet he is accorded unquestionable respect and accolades as possibly the best striker in the premiership.
Was Drogba English but he is regarded as a legend in the EPL and in Chelsea.
Thierry Henry is not English he even has a statue in his honor at Highbury.
Is Ngolo Kante English voted best player in the EPL by his fellow professionals.
Was JJay Oyibo but they never stop talking about him in the EPL. Was Kanu, Yakubu English or shall we talk of Gabriel, Sana, or Mane & Salah at Liverpool came from the Moon.
Mahrez that Leicester refused to sell is he not Algerian voted best African player in the EPL.
You may need like to be woken up very abruptly from your delusion, KC has not performed in the EPL that's why he is not even in the top 20. Since he left Manchester city his rating has dived. He needs to start performing at Leicester the good thing he is still performing for the SE but in the SE it's a different matter.
As it stands Tammy and Solanke are ahead of him and if they were in the SE there is no guarantee he would have displaced them. All you said is the truth. |

For where? Rohr can't forget Elderson. Except em get liver. |

This guy may never play for us.
we have shehu, Aina, Ebuehi, Brian in the team struggling for that spot.
Let alone those on the outside looking in. Nura, Otigba, Ehizube, Sinniger e.t.c, injury really messed up your chances. bros, forget. A fit MOses Odubanjo is number one on my list. He is too good. |

komekn: I am at pains to say this after more than a decade of involvement with British football.
There has been a paradigm shift in English football. For the first time in recorded history England won both the U20 and U17 World cups.
But the most pronounced and dramatically different thing about these teams was Black boys were about 70% of the team. In the Final of the U20 three Nigerian origin players scored all the goals. There is a change of cultural dynamics which includes race hither unknown before.
They made the wrong move in not supporting thier Father Land. However, career wise it's way too early to tell.
Secondly, even if the had come to the SE there's no guarantee they will be in the squad to Russia.
Is that the same welcome that was given to Sone Aluko, Anichebe and Hope Akpan. Considering how they were treated and thier refusal to show loyalty and homage with settlement. So, sad. The way NFF humiliated Anichebe after he got injured on duty for the national team was very painful. Even Hope Akpan never received a call after he got injured in action for the National team. That's unfair and very discouraging. Despite Sone Aluko's consistency in performance over the years yet ignored. What is the guarantee that these lads will not be treated the same way? |

If Nacho were English, we for dey hear Neymar comparisms. Both of dem are special gems any team will want to have. Even if Nacho is in the same team with them , he Nacho may not make the bench. Kalapizim: Truth is this 3-5-2 formation seems ideal but knocks out some of wing players ala simon moses, onyekuru and co for Victor moses to feature. I tried doing some tweaks to accommodate moses not featuring in a wingback role. I choose Ebuehi and Idowu based on current display while Echijele comes in due to his defending and advantage as a left footed player. Simon is more versatile than Onyekuru. He can play that formation wella because that is what played regularly with his team last season. |

Humility017:
Netherlands Yet To Give Up On Luring Eagles Latest ‘Oyibo’ Sensation Ebuehi
Dutch journalist Jermain Leitbig says the Netherlands are still hopeful of convincing Super Eagles right full back Tyronne Ebuehi to play for their senior national team. Born in the Netherlands to Nigerian parents, the ADO Den Haag full back impressed a lot of Nigerians when he came on as a substitute for the Super Eagles in their 4-2 win over Argentina on Tuesday. Despite playing for Nigeria in that game, he is still eligible to represent Holland and Jermain Leitbig says he will definitely be considered as the Dutch begin a process of rebuilding following failure to qualify for the World Cup in Russia. ” I hope you know he only played in a friendly game for Nigeria, and not a competitive game hence he can still play for the Netherlands. He plays in a position where the Dutch are short of options, so he could be an option”, Leitbig told Owngoalnigeria.com. ” Unless he plays for Nigeria next year, the Netherlands are still in with a chance to convince him, afterall it wasn’t like they didn’t try to stop him when he made the move to switch to Nigeria.
” Let’s wait but for now Nigeria hold the advantage of having him but no doubt Holland will be monitoring his performance for ADO Den Haag. The battle for his future is far from over”. Ade Emmanuel
source: OGN You see why I am angry with Rohr, huh? With just a dead rubber game the man refused to cap Ebuehi once and for all. |

I expect a list NOTFAR from this ( I didn't say Exactly so don't misquote me): GOALKEEPERS 3 Enyeama. Uzoho. Ezenwa
DEFENDERS 8 Balogun- Ekong- Awaziem- Ebuehi- Shehu- Aina- Idowu- Omeruo MIDFIELDERS 5 Mikel-Ndidi- Onazi- Ogu- Etebo
FORWARDS VMoses- SMoses- Iwobi- Iheanacho- Ighalo- Onyekuru- (?Kayode, Dressers, Success?)
What do you say ,guys? Kayode is not in the same level with Onyekuru and Dressers. Success!? Will he be ready before then? Time will tell. |

Danielnino00: Here's our squad for the last world cup...
How times fly .. About half of these players have been forgotten completely.. .
Where's Uchebo self?
Goalkeepers: Vincent Enyeama, Austin Ejide, Chigozie Agbim
Defenders : Joseph Yobo, Elderson Echiejile, Juwon Oshaniwa, Godfrey Oboabona, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Kenneth Omeruo, Efe Ambrose, Kunle Odunlami
Midfielders : John Mikel Obi, Ogenyi Onazi, Ramon Azeez, Michael Uchebo, Reuben Gabriel
Strikers : Osaze Odemwingie, Ahmed Musa, Shola Ameobi, Emmanuel Emenike, Babatunde Michael, Victor Moses, Uche Nwofor
Forgiveness, your beloved Ramon Azeez might make the list again if he believe He deserved to make the WC then because he played regularly in la liga for 2 years in a role prior to the WC. It is still a mystery he was ignored for two years before he was called. Unfortunately, Keshi deployed him in an unfamiliar role. |

Danielnino00: After finally watching the game,I gotta say, this 3-5-2 formation shouldn't he our main formation at the WC.. We can try it when we play attacking minded teams like Germany, Spain and France,so we can park the bus and hit with our newfound "sexy counter attack'
I don't support those saying VicMo should be used as a wingback!! he is one of our best player and we can't let him waste in that role...
for a three man defence u would suggest thus lineup (3-4-3)
GK(anybody wey make am )
LCB- Awazeim CB- Balogun RCB- Ekong
LWB- Idowu MF- Ndidi MF- Mikel RWF- Ebuehi
AMF- Moses CF- Iheanacho AMf- Iwobi
I'm adding Idowu and Ebuehi, cus at the moment,Shehu and Aina aren't used to the Wingback role.. Good one. I think Awaziem had a bad first half and he gives away the ball easily just like Ekong. |

Humility017: and elderson will offer more offensively?
you talking as if we have never watch elderson play...you and I know his potentials and what he can offer... aina for now should deputise idowu...for that LB role until deji matures...but still let deji be invited to come train with the super eagles....if possible cap tie him against sychelles then pass him over to the under 20 coach....
and idowu should be cap tied in the world cup proper....hopefully a better outing will fetch him a better club with reasonable national laws...unlike the Russia nasty rules... It seems you don't understand my point. The formation we played against Argentina is meant a LWB and not the usual LB in a 4-3-3 formation. That was why Aina struggled to cope holistically in that new role. I am not say he is a bad player going forward but in that particular game, he did nothing offensively. Now, let us go away from the LWB and back 3 defence to the usual 4 back defence known to us. I still feel I need to see him again in that role before drawing conclusion but before then Elderson or Brian have my nod. However, I am convinced he is a better player at RB and I would like him to be played there first to compare his performance on both sides. |

The fact still remains, he singlehandedly won a match during the qualifiers yet he was dropped due to poor matches afterwards.
