Just like shoprite, Next international, Game, Everyday emperior, Roban stores etc
Palm malls is a joint venture between Yoruba/Igbo
Ikeja mall is a owned by foreign property firm
The Palms is solely owned by Tayo Amusan. Sorry. There is nothing like Yoruba/Igbo joint venture.

Artee Group is bigger than Everyday emporium and Robans stores combined.

Chairman

With more than 25 years of experience doing business in Nigeria, mainly in the real estate sector, Tayo founded Persianas and has been instrumental in its growth and continued success since then. The major project to date is the world-class 'The Palms' shopping mall, which is rated to be the biggest such property in Nigeria, if not West Africa. The Palms has become the benchmark for other developers in Nigeria and raised the quality standards in the Nigerian real estate market. Since then, he has successfully launched shopping centers in Enugu, Kwara and Ibadan, with more in the pipeline.

Tayo serves on the board of several Nigerian companies including African Paints Nigeria Limited and is also the Chairman of Resourcery Limited.

Exclusive: Ex-Man Utd Target Ramon Azeez To Earn N405 Million In Three-Year Deal With CD Lugo
Nigeria international Ramon Azeez has completed his transfer to Spanish Segunda División team Club Deportivo Lugo following a successful medical.

Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that the central midfielder will remain on the books of the Albivermellos until June 30, 2020 after appending his signature to a three-year contract.

The agreement in the final year will only be triggered if he plays 65 percent of CD Lugo's matches during the 2018-19 campaign.

In the first year of his contract with CD Lugo, Azeez will earn 300,000 euros, and his wages will be uprated to 325,000 euros in the second year and 350,000 euros in the final year of his contract, meaning he will take home 0.975 million euros (approximately N405 million ) over the duration of his contract.

A €1 million release clause has been inserted into Azeez's contract if a Segunda Division team is interested in his services, while La Liga teams will have to pay €3 million.

The Future Pro Academy graduate was on the payroll of Almeria for six years and recorded 44 appearances for the side in the Spanish top-flight, scoring two goals.

Ramon Azeez underwent successful trials with Manchester United after the 2009 Fifa U17 World Cup where he won the Bronze Ball, but could not join the Old Trafford club after failing to secure a work permit.

Best U20 Player On The Planet, Of Nigerian Descent, Wows Liverpool Coach On Debut
Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp was impressed with the performance the English-born Nigerian striker Dominic Solanke put in against Tranmere Rovers in their first pre-season friendly on Wednesday night.

The Golden Ball winner at this summer's Fifa U20 World Cup looked lively after entering into the fray in the 46th minute and was denied a debut goal by a great save from goalkeeper Pilling in the 50th minute.

''I saw a few wonderful signs tonight. Everybody in England watched the U20 World Cup – that was fantastic football,'' Klopp said in his post match comments.

''He is an offensive player, a really skilled boy. He has to improve, of course, but a lot of things are already really good: first touch, movement, a lot of things.

''So it’s about him, if you want, and the situation. But I will not avoid his development, so the moment he is strong enough he is there.''

The 19-year-old Solanke joined Liverpool as a free agent this summer after spending the last thirteen years of his career with Chelsea.

Prominent Yoruba leaders gathered in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, last Thursday to review their stake in Nigeria and came up with a charter of demand in line with their aspirations as common people, BISI OLADELE reports

Representatives of Yoruba in Kwara and Kogi states also made comments while the Itsekiri were represented by Rita-Lori Ogbebor. The Olu of Warri also sent a representative, Chief Sunday Rewane, to the summit as they identified with the Yoruba. Ogbebor said Itsekiri migrated from Ijebu and will continue to identify with the Yoruba who stand tall with right values.

UNITY SUMMIT FOR YORUBA , AFENIFERE HOLDS Thursday in IBADAN

"The meeting is aimed at uniting the mainstream Yoruba people. This task will be achieved greatly if the two Afenifere groups are united. I think the region is coming to realize that they either stand in unity or fall in disunity” Dr Mobolaji Ojo, an official of O’odua National Coalition (ONAC) who is privy to the summit said.

He hinted that the Yoruba leaders expected at the summit will be drawn from Afenifere and the splinter group, Afenifere Renewal Group (ARG). Prominent leaders expected at the summit are chief Olanihun Ajayi, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Hon Wale Osun, General Alani Akinrinade, Mr Ayo Afolabi, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, Senator Sola Adeyeye and the governors of the six southwest states. The Itsekiri, will be represented by Chief (Mrs) Rita Lori Ogbebor, Chief Fred Agbeyegbe and Dr Lucky Akaruse..

Far from home, Yoruba community makes home in Delta State

National Mirror, November 2011 — Not many people know that there is an authentic Yoruba community in Delta State. Well, there is. The Oloku Mi people who migrated from Owo/Akure area of the present day Ondo State have lived in a community known as Ugbodu in Aniocha Local Government Area of Delta state since circa 11th Century AD. AMOUR UDEMUDE visited the community and found a people eager to retain as many aspects of their origin as possible.

A question for you..Where will the WP get their power from..as you claim they will be the first to have 24/7 power? They need gas... The EP has Geometeric already....It just needed to be extended to the areas in the province...
If all the WP Kins from the middle belt joins, WP will have 4 hydroelectric dams. They includes; Jebba Dam (540 mw), Kanji Dam (800 mw), Ikere Goerge Dam (3750 mw) and Oyan river Dam (9 mw)

Apart hydroelectric dams, the WP will generate electricity through the fossil fuel power stations which includes Egbim thermal power station (1320 mw), AES Barge (IPP) 270mw, Olorunshogo power station (336 mw), Olorunshogo 2 power station (675 mw), Omotosho power station 1 (336 mw) and Omotosho 2 power station ( 450 mw).

Meaning the WP can generate about 10,000 mw. Currently, it is generating about 3,000 mw.

Of which 1,500 mw is without gas, 1,500 mw is from the supply of gas.

Where do we get gas? WP will continue to get supply from Edo gas plant and buy from the Niger delta.

But take note that the Bonga fpso is located in Ondo state and Ondo state and Ogun State has untapped natural gas. So, while WP relies on buying gas from the SP, WP will quickly develope their natural gas and oil. grin
