iblawi: Please tell him capital mall and jabi mall are not in Asokoro, Maitama, Wuse or Garki. This same guy said the only developed part of Abuja are these areas while others are still bush. please ask him which animal in those bushes will buy goods from this Malls?
Hahahahahah! Forgive him for e know not what he's saying.
vaxx: mr updated. i can really see how far you have gone. The most beautiful mosque in nigeria is located in ilorin. simple. The current development going on in accra can only matched what is going on in lagos period. Let me tell you what accra has that is not yet in lagos and abuja. Accra is a host to largest mall in west africa. It is called west hill mall. Another one.it has the highest fly over in west africa. The longest roundabout in west africa and east africa combine.
What is the size of West Hill malls?
Abuja host the biggest mall in West Africa, sorry, not Accra.
The project got the backing of former President Goodluck Jonathan, who jointly commissioned it with then governor Rotimi Amaechi. Upon completion, the estate will have the Point Block towers, comprising nine blocks of 15-storey towers and 468 apartments; City Block towers made up of 16 blocks of 12-storey towers of 640 apartments; 13 detached homes consisting of five-bedroom stand-alone apartments on two levels and 60 terrace apartments made up of four-bedroom semi-detached apartments on three levels.
Jay254: Nigeria should also work on improving tourism to the country. Attractions differ from country to country.. Beaches, Wildlife, Artfacts, History... I believe so many ppl would visit places like Kano just to see and learn of the ancient times calabar can also be abig hit but they should add more activities and adventure.
At times I feel pitty to ppl like Forgiveness who will take tourist from Europe to see places Victoria Island.. seriously when someone is from more adversed countries Infrastructure is the last thing he is interested in unless they are investors...
Last but not least Nigeria should invest in great and unique accomodations.
Tourism is good but it will not sell if foreigners are fed with bad news.
Sometimes foreigners are impressive with the infrastructures on ground because they thought they are coming to Tarzan's World.
Just30: except there has only been 3 Ghanaians reported dead whiles only 5have been documented in Malta. If we take Syria and Afganistan out of the story because they are excaping from a civil war, Nigerians are the next highest number of migrants crossing that sea . The question is, what are Nigerians running away from?
Just30: we dont want you ,so we will close our borders I'll hand you over to the Kenyans @TayserMahiri would you welcome a fellow African from Nigeria?
Hehehehe! I got plenty Ghanaians as friends, they will kick ya.
iamord: lol.save your depiction's of Lagos or abuja as an Eldorado as I know Nigeria in and out, so easy with the exaggerations. there is really nothing trendy and vibrant about these state's. same old things there.. not friendly and safe, hard to conduct legit biz , it has always been like that. the economic downturn turned it to something else. even as s foreigner I felt the pain as one of my biz went down. so don't try to exaggerate . I know these cities very well.
I only presented the known facts.
Where magga no dey?
Even from Aflao to Tema and Accra, if you fall magga people go gba you.
vaxx: i my self told you is waste of effort comparing both. you are still telling me am wrong? ki lo de .
nigeria is not an enabling eviroment for business. IMF says it not me. if you have a problem with that, attack, them not me.
under the millitary goverment. an adminisrative are assigned to state to cater for the development of the state under the supervision of the federal goverment. lagos is the most important state in nigeria therefore it can never be marginalised. The income of lagos state alone is up to 20state in combine excluding niger delta.
even with the relocation. lagos has an international presence than abuja.
Hehehehe! Akwaaba! OK na.
We refuse to be IMF monkey, we know there antecedents. Shame don catch with all their voodoo predictions.
You don't know much about Nigeria's politics.
Moreover, what Lagos State generated before Tinubu came in was peanut when compared.

vaxx: mr abuja. ur abuja is uncomparable to an ancient city accra. Do u even know lagos is more popular than abuja. Accra the first capital of an independent africa state. A respected model to nigeria. Wven awolowo. NAzikwe and ojukwu ,obasonjo ,shagari can never complete their story whithout referring to this city. Robert mugabe is also another leader who will never forget the impact of accra.
Mr history the tide has changed. there is nothing like natural made city, we only have human made cities.
vaxx: comparing abuja and accra is silly argument. i have stop debating that.
abuja is made up of district. wiki is available. nigeria has a country is not an enabling enviroment for business. check ease of doing buisness in a country to verify the position of nigeria.
with the expansion of abuja airport. it is not a big deal. majour ghana airport are expanded. kumasi and tamali airport.
it is not only the duty of federal goverment to care for lagos state. it is combine effort of lagos state and federal goverment. infact more works are given to the state govt. lagos was not marginalised. It was the past adminsrative that refuse to develop it. Tinubu ,fashola and ambode has change the face of lagos.
kano is not up to lagos population. it was a political proparganda. lagos is more populated and it add both land and water border advantage with other neigbouring countries which no particular state can be proud of.
joburg gdp far outweigh lagos and poetharcour and kano in combine. google is not your enemy.
Bros, You were wrong to compare Abuja with greater Accra because Abuja is a city while Greater Accra is a region.
If you want to compare, it should be Greater Region with Federal Capital Territory or Accra with Tema or Accra.
Nigeria is not enabling enviroment for business but the same Nigerian environment has groomed small businesses to become multinationals even with branches in Ghana.
What an irony.
Under the military regimes it was the duty of the federal government to support and develop other parts of the country.
Abuja was planned to become the administrative and economic center of Nigeria hence the government demanded all headquarters should be located to Abuja. Maybe you are not aware.
Kenyanstar: It looks like your planned cities are not planned at all..... how can a city lack free public amenities... The top notch hospitals you are saying are most probably private hospitals which are majorly out of reach for the common citizen. In Mombasa there are also specialist hospitals but the public ones are majority best.
MOMBASA VISAL OSHWAL PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL 1. Free education offered to all students 2. Free laptops & tabs to all pupils 3. Free books & learning materials to all students 4. All co-carricular sports amenities provided free by National Government.
Those hospitals I posted are all public hospitals in Port Harcourt save one.
And they free if you pay taxes, having I.D card etc.
