The money that was used in building Lagos didn't come from Lagos... Not even a penny. Tell me one single contribution that came from Yorubaland towards the building and development of Lagos. Not a penny, not a single resource

Lagos already had electricity, telephone, tram, railway, banks, bridges, roads, street lights, houses, port, big economy etc as at 1891. That was long before British annexed Northern Nigeria, South South and other parts of Nigeria and even before the amalgamation of Nigeria in 1914. Even long before your ethics group enter Lagos.

Where did the money come from to develop Lagos as at then?

Rather, it was because other part of Nigeria were too unprofitable as at then, the British had to merge Lagos and SW with other regions to sustain and develop them. British used Lagos money to develop Nigeria. Facts.

Without Lagos and SW money, other regions will be like sudan.
