Wetin dis one dey yan? They played well. Anybody that claim this team didn't play well today is bias.

Despite all the antics of Zimbabwe wasting time, we were still calm and scored. That was brilliant.

The team played well against a team that defended deeply.

Zimbabweans were not special but playing deeply made us adjust our tactics.

It was a tactical battle. No small team in Africa. No more anywhere belle face game or display of technical ability but purposeful and business like game.

We played well and the coach was also very tactful. Weldon boys.

You are talking nonsense
Pure trash! Because oguta and ihala are almost one separated by state creation
Buh ihala happens to be the core commercial city with multiple banks hotels, different universities in it and oguta is just a stone throw from ihala, you now want all banks in ihala to relocate to oguta..
Make it make sense!
And because ihala is over shadowing oguta
You now come out to say that osun is more developed than imo state..
Like are you really okay?
No place in osun Can lace the shoes of okigwe and orlu, if there is
Mention the place lets compare!

Orlu has a bigger market than osun
Fact, have you been to the imo international market in orlu, same goes to okigwe
You just agreed with him there are not banking activities in Oguta.

Please remove Northerner from that your mouth. I can bet it that no Yoruba state capital, except Ikeja, can stand above Kano and Kaduna. Even Katsina City will still give them bloody nose
Ibadan is far more developed than Kano and Kaduna combined.

From the way you talk, anyone can tell your a Yoruba man claiming to be from Imo State, only an outsider would say that secessionist are are destroying Imo State, because he does not know what is going on there and has to go by what the Lagos/Ibadan expressway media say, rather than what Imolites say

As for this talk about IGR, you can have all the IGR in the world, but if you have nothing to show for it, the IGR is useless

I have often asked Yorubas and the Northerners to show us that place that they developed with their sweat, ingenuity and IGR, that was never capital of anywhere. But they cant. Aba, Nnewi and Onitsha have never been capital of anywhere, but the Igbo man used his sweat and IGR to make those places what they are, with no government help

Let Yorubas and Northerners show us that place they developed without the place needing to be capital city, and recieving massive government help

Everthing in life is not about shouting about IGR and claiming to be politically on top, show us something tangible you achieved on your own
Is Lekki capital of anywhere? Ijebu Ode, Sagamu, Ogbomosho, Ilesa, Ede, Mowe Ibafo, Ikorodu, Epe, Badagry, Sango Ota etc Capital of anywhere?

Ife is the second largest town in Osun, yet it looks like a pig farm. Oguta is not even in the top 10 in Imo, yet it's giving your almighty Ife a bloody nose. The only beautiful places in Ife are the Ooni palace and the univerity.
Ife is not the second largest city in Osun state nevertheless it's more developed than Oguta.

He's an average player, I only care about what you do in national colors. Look at his mates in Ivory coast, Cameroon etc sinking minnows with goals. After Osimhen and maybe Akor and Orban the rest of our strikers are just RUBBISH.
Mention the world class players in the national team then since you only care about the national colors.

I've never rated Awoniyi, does a decent job for Nottingham but he lacks that fundamental technique and finesse you need in a modern day striker
What did he use to score goals in the Bundesliga and EPL if not with the so called fundamentals techniques and fitness?

Because he missed one chance wey even the best strikers in the world dey miss na em make him lack so called......wetin? Osimhen self dey miss goals like that.

Awoniyi just came back from injury and not fully fit.

Was he not the same person that scored in the last match he played before thi for the national team?

Do you know the Funniest thing
Most of them were Overseas returned Yoruba enslaved people many of them were even if noble birth that has been captured in War and Sold

For example Oba Haastrup of Ilesha was a returnee Saro as well as an Ijesha Prince

He became the Oba of Ilesha after he returned from Slavery
Bode Thomas was from a Noble Oyo Family and was a high Chief of Oyo
He was a Saro I believe his father was an Oyo Prince who was a Son of Alaafin Abiodun who returned from Slavery

There was another Oba who was a returnee Saro ex Slaves

The Coker Family of Abeokuta are from the Egba Royal family

Do you get the drift
The Coke's are now afiobaje.

The same age as the Oba of Benin dynasty
It was after the first Oba of Ikorodu left his brother Oranmiyan in Benin that he founded Ikorodu
He had followed Oranmiyan to Benin from Ile Ife
I think you are mixing things up. Ikorodu is an offshoot of Sagamu. In fact, it's the farmland of Sagamu people.

Of course, Lagos culture is entirely different from those of average Yorubas...

The Awori, Egun, Badagry and some other indeginous tribes in Lagos have some kind of distinct culture from the average Yorubas undecided

It's the emigration of Yorubas from Northern part of Lagos, with the immigrants leading as top officials in the state making it the reasons the Lagos state is having some semblance of Yorubas in it. Even the Ijaws and Edos will claim Lagos state as theirs first before even any Yoruba will attempt to undecided

Indeginous Lagos names like Coker, Hundeyin, Gbadamosi, Funsho, Bucknor, Sarumi etc have little or no meaning in Yoruba. Even the culture of Eyo was alien to the Yorubas, Eyo masquerades is indeginous to Lagosians which the Yorubas have adopted as theirs undecided, in the Yoruba folklore, there was nothing like masquerade as they have it today in Eyo... The Yoruba culture could be akin to that of the Hausas.

The case of indeginous Lagosians could be seen in same light to those of Kalabari in Rivers State where but Igbo and Ijaw is seen as forming that language.
Apart from all the ignorance you spew, Eyo was from Iperu to Eko. Eeswua! Na Ijebu word. Olodo.

Ile Ife is even the second biggest settlement in Osun state and also has an old university. It can be easily compared to Nsukka in Enugu State in that aspect, yet it looks so rundown. Nsukka is far ahead of ile Ife.

Oguta is not even among the biggest settlements in Imo State. We have Owerri, Orlu, and Okigwe as major towns. Yet Oguta is far ahead of Ile Ife, despite not having a university like Ile Ife.

How some people survive in habitats that even pigs will struggle to live in, still baffles me.
Ile Ife is not the biggest settlement in Osun state. Stop displaying your ignorance in the public.

Is it Oguta wey I don go before? Is it not the homse state of late Arthur Nzeribe? His house was built on large acres of land. I have been there.

It's a village/town. Far below Ile Ife in terms of development.

Every town in Nigeria is a ghost town once it's night expect the motor parks.

Aba has one of the most busiest parks in Nigeria.

The state serves the entire North, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Imo State and even people in Lagos.

Most traders in these states prefer to buy from Aba, as a result, the main park is always a beehive of activities, morning to evening, and repeat.

Even Lagos is deserted once it's night, except the parks.
Once it's 8pm, Aba na ghost town.
