Some schools even refer optometry as life science
It's more of science than medical
Opthalmology is the real deal

Even with the jamb statistics posted here, Yoruba leads in admission into universities
Out of every top 10 utme candidate every year, Yoruba as a single tribe must have nothing less than 5 or 6, the remaining 200+ tribes can share the remaining 4 position
WAEC has never given out ranking, I wonder why Igbos have so much inferiority complex to the extent of drafting nonsense
Moreso, the essence of waec and neco is furthering education into University and Yoruba dominate in admission into Universities |

IPOB Bereau of Statistics
We all know what goes down
No southwest universities admit above quota but you will see UNN, ABSU, IMSU admitting 500, 600 students in a department that can't take up to 100
Dentistry as example Unilag has highest quota which is 40, UI will even admit below quota but UNN that has quota of 15 will admit 150 in dentistry, 586 in medicine with quota of 180
It's not about who gained admission but the percentage and number that end up graduating

Cashsteady: I Know like 5 igbos now, im older than tho. all of them said they don't want to go university in South east and they all chose south West universities, ui, unilag, and the one at Ife.. Is is that the Universities in other region are not good enough? In unilag Yorubas are just like 40% of the population while the other 60% are people from other tribes mainly the igbos and south south people.. Unn is a federal university but still 90% igbos. Why exactly is this? South East has 26 universities private inclusive South West has 45+ private institutions 20+ Fed and state institutions |

OfoIgbo: Your illiteracy boggles my mind.
In Obafemi Awolowo University, are there more Igbo Professors there than Yoruba professors? The answer is NO
At UNN, are there more Yoruba professors than Igbo professors? The answer is NO.
Well, if the answer is NO to the second question, why then is it written that there are more Yoruba professors in Nigerian universities, after all there are more Igbo professors in UNN than Yoruba professors? This is a question for you. Answer it before you start pretending to be smart.
Meanwhile, 3 Igbos are in the top 4 best performing 2021 JAMBites Out of top 10 utme candidates in 2021 6 are Yoruba Get your facts right Even 2022 Out of top 10, 6 are Yoruba Back to back Yoruba has never taken anything less than 5 in each year leaving other tribes to struggle for the remaining 5 or 4 position |
Politics › Re: Igbo Students Dominate Covenant University 1st Class Graduates List Pic by ForumNL(m): 7:44am On Aug 16, 2022 |
Covenant University is a Church owned University owned by a Yoruba Man and attended by diverse tribe
Igbo in the East has only 26 institution of which 15 is private universities (schools that are struggling to exist) 5 federal 6 states
Yoruba has 7 federal universities 14 state Universities 45 private universities
All these point out to the fact that 1. Igbos must always leave their region to survive
2. Covenant Institution is the most preferred private institution in Nigeria, so an average Igbo prefers to attend covenant to the private institution in East
3. Covenant Institution is not a Yoruba based school, profit is the goal, the same way Yoruba fill up schools in UK, USA, CANADA and they were not denied admission is the same way anyone can gain admission to Covenant University
4. An average Yoruba that wanted to attend private institution has many options ranging from Redeemers, JABU, BABCOCK, ADELEKE, ABUAD, ELIZADE, TOPMOST, ANCHOR etc (the list is endless) - Most attend their Church University or Islamic University
Still checking the graduating list, Yoruba dominate it, next is Igbo and other south south Please don't confuse Igbo names with others in south south, not all the non-yoruba names are Igbo
Covenant University is expected to have cocktail of tribes as it's the most popular private institution
Thank you all EDO PIKIN |

When elections come, will it be population that will vote or will it be land that will vote?

There is no truth in this,
Muslims are generally not inclined toward Western education
Employment is not controlled by any HOD, even right from students population, we know how transparent OAU is with admission and JAMB is in total control of admission process yet there are more Christian students than Muslims (Were they also marginalized by Jamb or Cut off mark?)
An average Christian youth sees Western education as a MUST to acquire |

in terms of development, truth be told South west is ahead every other region in nigeria, in fact in every area - Education, infrastructure, development, civilization etc

GOTVee: Even though I'm a born again Christian, I think we Christians should be ashamed of ourselves for heating up the polity unnecessarily. We Christians and Muslims should understand that Nigeria do not revolve around our both faiths. We have traditionalist and nonbelievers who have been politically marginalized all this years without been given any sort of consideration. There is nothing bad in having a Muslim/Muslim ticket if we truly care about the development of our country. We have had a Christian VP In Osinbajo for almost 8 years, how has it helped we Christians? People like Pantami and other brilliants Muslim compatriots have shown that having Muslims at the helms of affairs is nothing to be afraid of.
Let's stop condemning our Muslim brothers and sisters for political gains. We Christians and Muslims are one. I urge everyone one of us to support the Muslim/Muslim ticket for the prosperity of our nation. We Christians should learn from the tolerance of our Muslim brothers so we can have a peaceful nation You are denying your religion (Islam) and claiming Christianity just to support Muslim-muslim ticket This is another evidence that you people have agenda, nothing honest and loyal about you all You are a Muslim, and since you claim Christianity, you will never have peace in Islam until you become a true Christian |
