I really think University of Ibadan needs to increase her admission quota, the school is 74 years old and struggling to admit 4000 students meanwhile schools like UNILAG, ABU, UNILORIN, UNN etc admit 10,000 with ease I know some will come up with postgraduate school stuff, you will be surprised to know that these schools still have large admission quota for postgraduate studies than UI (UI quota for postgraduate is 6000) Don't bother to underscore "quality and not quantity" shit, it will be so unwise to conclude that UNILAG, ABU, UNN, UNILORIN don't produce intellectuals The schools with more quota simply means they have more facilities and capacity... |

Dr Olumuyiwa Igbalajobi, Nigerian who lectures in Canada is busy clearing the road for other Nigerians who wish to study abroad. He has secured another victory for those wishing to study in Canada. He has written another letter to Athabasca University requesting that Nigeria be removed from countries whose students must present IELTS, TOEFL and other English tests before admission. The school has granted the request. No more English tests for Nigerians applying to the school. This is not the first time he is writing such letter. Bravo! |

Even though I'm a born again Christian, I think we Christians should be ashamed of ourselves for heating up the polity unnecessarily. We Christians and Muslims should understand that Nigeria do not revolve around our both faiths. We have traditionalist and nonbelievers who have been politically marginalized all this years without been given any sort of consideration. There is nothing bad in having a Muslim/Muslim ticket if we truly care about the development of our country. We have had a Christian VP In Osinbajo for almost 8 years, how has it helped we Christians? People like Pantami and other brilliants Muslim compatriots have shown that having Muslims at the helms of affairs is nothing to be afraid of.
