I just wanted to know, if he was in Boarding School...well, there lies the problem. most kids get introduced to such vices when they go to boarding school, it is a normal thing to replace your stolen property ASAP with another student's stuff. I went to a boarding school and in my first year/first term i only went home with myself! back to the situation, pray for him, take him for counseling, withdraw him from the current school and either make him a Day student or take him to the seminary school and tell the rector to keep an eye on him. Don't threaten him get him a good GC.... |

This is so much like mine, i met my husband on Facebook...unbeknownst to our families. I was in a relationship that had lasted for several years without marriage in sight, then I got engaged, had the introduction and was jilted few days to the wedding..i cried so much so that i became a recluse because of the embarrassment i faced and put my folks through..fast forward one year later, i logged in to FB and this random dude added me up.. I accepted but ignored him, one day he asked for my number and i obliged him, he didn't call me outright so i deleted him sharply on FB...then he called me on Viber and i came down on him with so much venom, calling him broke and stingy and many other derogatory terms.. Then i was busy crying to God daily for a husband o. Then i rekindled an old flame, who sent me off to visit his people so they could assess me for marriage. The week i was to travel to the old flame's hometown...I signed into Skype and met my FB friend online, he said hi and i responded he asked if he could call me and i said yes..well he called and we chatted for a while, then he said i was very different from the lady he encountered few weeks ago...i laughed and told him i was stressed back then. he asked me my plans for the holidays and i told him i was traveling to visit my suitor's family he asked how long i had known the 'suitor' i told him for about 4yrs, he said the guy was not serious. I was greatly offended and cursed him out, he called later to apologize...advising me to be very nice to the suitors family and respectful so they would marry me.. . we became friendly and he called me throughoutthe duration of my trip to the other guy's village. When i returned back to my base he asked me if i was sure the suitor would return back to marry me that year, i became angry again at his intrusion and told him "oya come and marry me nah"...he said if i allowed him he would fly down on my birthday which was less than two months and marry me,anyways i thought he was joking...he connected to my mum,he told her his intentions, they were skeptical because of my past heartbreaks, finally this man came in two days to our wedding,I wanted to send my friend to pick him up at the airport but wise folks said no,he flew in on a Saturday,we were married on Monday..my office, family, friends and his family were stunned. the funny part was when i met his parents and grandma, they were like, hope you children didn't meet on FB ooo?? we heard it is a very bad place, that one girl was killed on FB...I thank God that what started as a joke ended up well,my friends said he was not real but my mom was like, he's the one with the cash and Kpali wetin u get to lose? you don't have money or Kpali to give him so what is the scam there?? Folks, I believe God can choose any platform to send you your partner...meanwhile when i originally created my FB account I also created for my friend, who was staying with me because she was jilted on her wedding day...i told her that i had a feeling that we would both meet our husbands online..it happened exactly that way cos she also met her husband on FB and joined him in Europe. Thank You Jesus! |

I used to have painful periods until my last two episodes, I stopped taking pain relievers and started watching my sugar intake. If she eats healthy and abstain from those canned soda drinks,ice-creams,chocolates she will get some relief, i also use the hot water bottle to support my abdomen and it helps. Above all, prayers can do just about anything. My husband also told me to make sure i take iron supplements or foods rich in iron, e.g unripe plantains. Also she should take enough warm water and hot green tea without milk and sugar....my humble submissions! |
i like him now that he's not the President. |
hahahahahehhheeeee ![]() seriously though, this is not funny. I was talking to my colleagues a few days ago and we were reminiscing the good old days of being a secondary school student in FGC. the grammar taught to us back then was solid, you would hardly see any FGC ex-student that cannot speak/write proper English today. It is a shame to note that nowadays, children born between the 80s and the millennium are struggling to even write good sentences or spell properly, you see a bunch of them here on NL. I blame our leaders, checkout the older citizens of our country today their English and hand-writings are impeccable but because of corruption they have made our youths semi-illiterates. |

The best way is still networking, tell everybody you know and i mean anyone wherever and whenever you meet people, tell them! do not hesitate to tell people about your need for a job until it registers in their memory, that way whenever the opportunity calls, folks will easily remember you...I got my job by so doing, i became a kinda nuisance but it paid off nonetheless. ![]() |
nice but it is BLEACHING not BLEECHING |
